《A human's tale》Phoenix

Karin returned after looking at his water jars and said, "You are pretty lucky. That phoenix will help you if you can help it first. A water dragon ate its eggs and now the phoenix wants revenge but it is not as strong as the dragon and even if it was the phoenix can't go into the water. That phoenix is sulking in a place called penguin village. It's a small island."
"So there are dragons in this world? " He asked.
"Nope. It is a slightly bigger and more powerful crocodile." Karin replied.
"Wait a minute, How did a crocodile climb a tree?" He asked in bafflement.
"Phoenixes lay eggs in lava rock. That is why the crocodile was probably able to eat the eggs when she was away." Karin replied.
"I had another question as well but you have unintentionally answered that question. Thank you, I will be back" Rayhan said and flew south.
Rayhan zoomed towards penguin village, it was a small island in the middle of nowhere in the ocean. Rayhan sensed the phoenix's ki and slowly flew towards it. He deliberately leaked his battle power of 200 while approaching it. Rayhan hoped that the phoenix would come up with the idea of asking for Rayhans help to take its revenge. So, he pretended to fly around for a while doing nothing. But the phoenix didn't come to ask for his help.
So he went near to the phoenix and greeted, "Yo, Ms. Phoenix, We don't know each other but you don't seem to be doing well."
The phoenix thought of something and spoke in a high and mighty manner, "Human, If you can do a task for this immortal, I can grant you eternal youth."
"Hehe. I have already drank from the fountain of youth." He smirked.
The phoenix had expected the human to be excited by the offer and instantly submitted to her but her expectation didn't come to fruition.
She thought of something else and spoke, "If you already possess eternal youth then I shall show you to a dragon's lair. It has riches beyond your imagination but you need to slay the vile beast before you get to it."

"Not interested." He said. The phoenix was rather sly and was trying to get him to take her revenge for minimal cost.
"What is it that you want?" the phoenix asked in frustration.
"Hehe. I heard that a phoenix's tear can improve one's martial arts talent. Is that true?" Rayhan asked.
"Of course it's true." She replied.
Rayhan felt something off about the phoenix's candid answer but didn't question her and said "Okay. What do I need to do?"
The phoenix explained her situation. She led him to the dragon's dwelling. Rayhan dived into the sea and saw a huge crocodile. He punched it to death in a single hit. He saw that the crocodile's lair had a lot of gold and pearls. He blocked the lair's entrance with a stone. Just then he realized that the phoenix's ki was going farther and farther.
He immediately shot off the ocean and flew towards the phoenix. The phoenix was fast but how could she compare to Rayhan who had recently reached the power level of 395. Rayhan caught it within a minute.
"Reneging on a deal, aren't we?" He asked darkly.
"No. No. How could I do that? I was just flying around to ensure that the dragon was in its lair. Sometimes this dragon comes here. So I was just checking things out." She started explaining.
"Now give me a bucket of your tears. Also, if my talent doesn't improve? I will find you no matter where you hide and I will cook you and eat you." He said threateningly.
He was simply going to leave the phoenix alone after taking a few drops of tears but now that the phoenix had cheated him. He started doubting the validity of the myth.
The phoenix shuttered. She weakly spoke, "How can something so easily improve one's talent?"
"Does that mean the myth of the phoenix's tear is false?" He asked.
"It is exaggerated. It can only improve the talents of newborns but you are countless times stronger than a newborn. It won't improve your talent by much." She replied.

Rayhan felt dejected but he was going to have a child. So, the phoenix's tear would still be useful to him. So, he asked, "How does your tear work? Can you elaborate?"
"I don't know. It works on every creature alike. Human babies need one drop to gain the best talent possible for the human race. The second drop loses the effect because the baby will already have achieved the race's best talent possible." The phoenix explained.
"Doesn't that mean the second drop will be effective on me?" Rayhan asked.
"Yeah, it will be but your talent won't change by much." The phoenix said.
"Then the third drop. You can cry a few buckets of tears for me." Rayhan said.
"Idiot. Phoenixes can only shed one drop of tear once a month," she replied.
He thought for a while without speaking.
"Hehe, You will live with me until my talent improves to its threshold." He grabbed the phoenix and flew towards his home after cleaning the crocodile lair.
'Why would a crocodile need so much wealth anyways?' He questioned himself.
'Since a baby with a 0.5 power level needs 1 drop. I will need 800 drops. It would take 66 years if I didn't make any advancement in power level. It might take hundreds of years.' He roughly guessed.
After reaching home, He commanded the phoenix to live in the mountain nearby and he went to see Annin and asked her to evaluate the worth of the treasure. Her eyes started glittering when she saw those treasures.
She abruptly kissed Rayhan and said, "Honey, Let's keep the pearls, okay? They are so pretty We don't need the gold. We can do whatever we want with it."
"Sure," Rayhan said which earned him another kiss. Rayhan found it strange to not utilize the wealth but since his wife wanted to keep them, he didn't protest.
Rayhan grabbed her and pulled her closer and sweetly whispered into her ears, "Why don't we have some fun?"
Rayhan started fondling her perfect ass and his cock instantly rose. Even after many years, Rayhan had the same level of attraction toward his wife as he had in the past.
"Honey. I want a baby as well. All of my friends already have babies. I want one too." She said in a pampered voice. She gave him the puppy eyes. He simply could not resist her when she did this to him. He had to urge to give in to her request. He had pampered and spoiled this little wife. Whenever she had wanted something Rayhan didn't want, she would give him puppy eyes and he would always give in. But this time he thought things through and was ready to reject her.
"Oh. When did you visit your friends?" He asked trying to divert the topic of baby-making.
"Hehe. I have already gone multiple times." she giggled and said.
She hit Rayhan's chest and said, "You are diverting the topic. I want a baby."
"Hehe. After another few years, okay?" He said.
She tightly hugged and started chanting "I want a baby. I want a baby. I want a baby."
Rayhan got a headache. He had a feeling that he had pampered his little wife a bit too much.
He smacked her ass and said, "You lazybones. We will have a baby when you reach a power level of 400."
She had just reached 260, despite the use of paradise herb. It was pretty good but with her talent, it should have been higher.
She pouted but Rayhan didn't give in. They bickered for a while. Rayhan had to work hard in the bed to coax her.
'Mother will probably fan the flames' He thought with a headache.
