《Blood Limit》Ch 31 part 1

Two prying silhouettes stood up high in the trees on a thick branch whilst conversing in hushed tones over a house in the woods.
Scout 1 "So she really left... Just like that?"
Scout 2 "Well well... You can't say this was unexpected. She's been off at the ears on how she's wanted to adventure again and.."
Scout 1 "Hold on! Whose ears? I've been the only one acting like Maladies private diary!"
Scout 2 "My my, what a respectful tone you have. In four decades dont tell me your mind has finally croaked under the 'Maladies' beuteous duress."
Scout 1 "No it hasn't but... In case that there are are onlookers the respectful approach is best. And I woo women not the other way around!"
Scout 2 "Haha" he laughed. "ok because if there were otherwise then a certain someone wouldn't be able to just sit eating fresh grapes any more, I wouldn't want your blood on my hands, you're aware right?"
Scout 1 "What do you take me for? From all of the conversation she makes I'm more worried that my blade has dulled over my head."
Scout 2 "Well if its that then I could help you with it!"
Scout 1 "That would be ideal.."
Scout 2 "Yeah but first lets report. And don't expect me to go easy on ya!"
With their objective seemingly complete the scouts leap from the trees and head off some where towards the town.

The other two had been on their way to the barrier which was constructed with Sasu's unusual power.
-She's been pretty quiet so far but something is obviously on her mind. /Sasu thought.
They have already come as far as a couple of miles.
Judging by their pace they would reach the barrier in hours.

Although the quiet never really bothered Sasu he thought it appropriate to get to know his new comrades a little better. At first glance this would seem an like armistice agreement of sorts but he rather think of them as comrades.
"You have something on your mind right? Lets hear it." He said as he was unable to remain quiet.
She continued to walk quietly as she thought of telling him but as they went on it seemed as though Sasu was unheard by the girl. Sasu stopped where he stood and looked back at her.
Strange enough her gaze was focused not on him but ahead. She had just lifted her leg to step higher over a root from the ground completely ignoring its existence as an obstacle.
When Sasu stopped he also happened to step to the side making enough room for her to walk by and that she did gratefully. But he was was only off enough to avoid being completely hit.
"Whaa."
The impact was enough to make him fall after knocking him off balance. That's how strong she was but surprisingly she continued on.. As if nothing at all has happened!
"Wait! .... Hey!" Sasu shouted. This had not made him angry but completely ignoring him like this rubbed him the wrong way in an annoying way.
Sasu jackknifed to his feet. Despite all of his yelling she still focused on the path in front of her with a straight look. He wanted to remove this trance like state she was in. This time he ran and grabbed her shoulder but contrary to his expectations the sky spun and his back felt great pain upon meeting the ground.
He again jackknifed to his feet just to be met with her glare.
Although she glared that's all that happened until she looked forward.. Only to continue as she had been.
"Hah?" Sasu let out in surprise.
This was done a few times until finally Sasu decided to just walk beside her. Aside from fortunately having stiff shoulders removed he was tired of the broken spine he would get.

My website: https://putiancom.wordpress.com This is a short story about revenge or something along the lines. (This is my first story ever written so please go ham at criticising my work.) Death. It is a form of punishment or torture. And can be also be a form of salvation. Ultimately, it forms different perspectives depending on the beholder itself and on how the beholder take it as. Life. A point in time where finding your purpose. Purpose, of life itself and experience its flow, either epiphany or hell. Death. It is an end. A point of no return. It also makes the beholder feel free, breaking away from the chain of life. It makes the beholder recollect and reflect when crossing the boundary between life and death. Boundaries. A place where a path will ultimately, be chosen with or without consideration in the decision, free. . . . A place where recounting life, take it as a feeling. The joys and sorrow accumulated, playing back, making the beholder reexperience life. "Reminiscing."
