I could feel the headache coming just by looking at his smile.
"So Ruki, how many points did you get on the test?"
I looked at his smiling face and walked away without saying a thing.
"Hey, where are you going, don't ignore me."
I didn't respond to him and kept walking.
"Ohh, I remember you got 97 points, that's very high but not the highest. Do you know who got the highest point? Not to brag or anything but I got the highest point.
"I am not saying this but according to the points I am a bit better than you, and you know the numbers don't lie."
He kept bugging me until we reached my house. My parents knew we were taking the entrance test today. They were worried about whether we would pass or not, but I told them not to worry too much.
But they were too nervous to even come and watch our test.
When we reached home, I saw both my parents waiting at the door. They saw me and their facial expressions changed. They immediately became a little sad.
They came to me and started to console me.
"It's alright if you didn't pass son."
"Yes dear, it doesn't matter. You at least tried your best and that's the main part."
"What are you guys talking about, I passed the test."
"Ehhh… You passed! But why did you have such a sad look on your face?"
"That's because this idiot got more points than me."
They both became happy when they heard me.
"Haha, there is no way he wouldn't pass he is son after all. Don't worry son I never doubted you, and don't worry about Naruto getting higher points than you. He is an Uzumaki so he has better talent than most Nobel clan members."

"Yes dear, we will always believe in you. Congratulations to both of you for passing the test."
"But just now you... Nevermind what's for lunch I am quite hungry."
"We have prepared a cake to celebrate you guys becoming a student at Ninja Academy."
After eating lunch Naruto decided to go back to his place.
"I will come here tomorrow morning, so don't oversleep or else we might be late."
"Worry about yourself idiot."
Naruto was about to tell something but I shut the door on his face.
A couple of minutes after Naruto left, I went to a nearby forest to train my blood control. Currently, I couldn't train my blood control in a tame environment like my room.
After reaching the forest, I formed a chakra blade on both my hands and cut open along the wound on both my arms. It hurt a little but I was used to the pain by now.
A lot of blood started to gush out from the wounds, I immediately started focusing my chakra on the blood.
Before blood could even hit the floor half of it turned into a big ')' shaped blade and rushed towards a nearby tree. The other half of the blood stayed glued to my hand.
Both the branches of the tree fell to the ground. Then I used the remaining blood to make one big blade and cut the tree in half. After the blood hit the branches and the tree bark they splattered around.
And that's a problem, once I hit a solid target that I can't easily slice through or destroy, chakra which is connected with my blood dissipates. Which causes the blood to lose a decent bit of power.
That doesn't mean I can't control the blood. I can but it's less powerful. However, I can add chakra to my blood once I touch it again so it's not a big problem.

The wound on my arms has also healed by now so, that's good. Although I have the regeneration ability, I am not immoral and I cannot create an infinite amount of blood.
Once I start to lose a lot of blood, my regeneration won't be able to produce blood fast enough so, I will be knocked unconscious.
The blood that was splattered around on the ground after cutting down the tree started moving towards me. When it came in contact with me I ejected chakra into it again.
This time I split half my blood into 5 parts and turned them into 5 kunai. The kunai all traveled towards different trees and hit them. It didn't Pierce through them but left quite a mark on them.
I then used the remaining half of my blood and made a big Kunai and sent it towards a big tree. When it came in contact with the tree the blood kunai pierced right through it.
Then I practiced controlling my blood in the air while they are moving at a high speed. I again created 5 kunai and made them fly around me at high speed.
I trained until my chakra got exhausted, you might be wondering how my chakra got exhausted so quickly even though I have regeneration.
Well, I can now control my regeneration, I can make the regeneration faster if I focus all its power in a single part, I can make it slower, stop regeneration. So, to increase my chakra reserve I have stopped the regeneration of my chakra.
Once my chakra is exhausted, I will activate it back up. That's how I was able to increase my chakra reserves so quickly.
I have so many ideas and theories I want to test regarding my blood control like trying to control others' blood or increasing the blood flow inside my own body to boost my strength and I have so many other ideas.
But I don't want to do too many things at the same time, once I master making and using weapons of blood I will move on to the next thing.
It was getting dark so I decided to go back home. I was looking forward to going to the academy tomorrow cause, I would finally be able to meet the famous characters of Konoha.

The Girl from the Mountain
Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!
