《The Golden Throne》Vacate your homes

“How is this extravagant? The circle draws mana from the air, so it doesn't require more mana injection from a mage. I will be using a lot of them, so that this place will be self-sufficient when I go to school.”
Lucas looked around the town, with Liu Feng guiding him. He was shocked at how much Liu Feng was planning.
“Are you sure you can do all this? Having a few properly constructed buildings is better than ten that will fall in a month.”, Lucas warned Liu Feng, but it seemed like Liu Feng knew what he was doing. Sir Nicholas was out in the open, showing the villagers how the work was done, thoroughly captivating the villagers, as a noble never did work.
The next week was a combination of loud noises and hard work, and everything went according to schedule. Liu Feng then ordered all the villagers to gather in the new town’s square which had the newly constructed buildings on one side, and nothing on the other. The buildings looked magnificent, the roads were new and clean, and it seemed like this wasn’t Dilheim at all. Sir Nicholas came on to the stage, which now had a podium and spoke what he had previously rehearsed with the villagers.
“People of Dilheim. Look to your left. You will see the fruits of your labor. Don’t they look magnificent! You must be wondering, as you have built them as homes, who lives there. I have decided to be gracious, and give them to every citizen who will give up their current home. It is my intention to have the citizens of Dilheim live here, at the heart of the city, with each other, rather than in the wild. The handover will start immediately. Those without any land to their name will have to sign a contract to work for me for a year with a fixed income of one copper a month, with food provided. All the land owners on my right, and all the others on the left. Only one person per family is allowed.”

Sir Nicholas started distributing the houses. They had built three story apartments, and because there were only a hundred people in the village. By the end of the day, all the villagers had taken up an apartment in exchange for their land. Of course, who would refuse a good house, constant water support, and a good neighbourhood in exchange for a deserted land? The satisfaction of the villagers was rising, and many of them had sent letters to their relatives in the weekly caravan that passed by the town.
Liu Feng looked upon the town, and was now satisfied a bit. He already had the right side of the town segregated, and he was now waiting on news about white stone in the river. He intended to make cement so that he could make a more permanent settlement, but it seemed that it would take more than a while.
He called for Sir Nicholas and gave him more plans for the left side of the town, which was the more temporary town, and asked him to send letters to merchants that this town was open for business. Dilheim was located conveniently in the border of four kingdoms, and was next to the new Magic academy, so Liu Feng had ordered massive hotels and inns to be built, to facilitate an influx of tourism and people. He also ensured that there were houses for people to rent, a new concept that Liu Feng introduced in Dilheim.
Sir Nicholas was thoroughly impressed but he was worried about a few problems. “ Your Highness, how will we pay for all of this? The salaries already cost us about half a silver a month, and this is not sustainable. We need to increase the taxes, right?”
“Patience, Sir Nicholas. Once the hotels are open for business, you will see a steady income.”

The Secrets Of Dragons
In an underground world of fast cars, violence, and mobsters, finding a little slice of normal is damn near impossible. Until your boss throws you into college on protective detail to babysit the heir to his Empire. Easy, right?
8 292Tale of a Cruel World
A world where civilization is worthless and the meanderings of the wild bend humanity to its knees. This the tale of a cruel world, seemingly destined never to find peace. Through calamity after catastrophe, through silence and storm, its people have survived. Though, soon the final calamity will come. A clone of the strongest, most feared mage, Calamitas, bioengineered to only feel 'positive' emotions, and an ordinary hunter fighting to protect his dying sister begin their journey with a wish to rid a city of plaguebrought strife. (This is based on the Calamity Mod for Terraria, but should be perfectly readable to any normal viewers. To make its universe into a living, breathing place requires liberties enough to make this almost 'my own' world, so keep in mind that this isn't a very 'conventional' fanfiction(or maybe it is, I don't actually know the conventions).)
8 135Issekai Mockery
The story begins with Alvaro Brad, a genius young man in his teens. Alvaro excels at every subject of his school, chemistry, physics, mathematics and programming are some subjects that he enjoys the most. That seems to be the first impression that people have about him though. Alvaro has another side to him, he is addicted to gambling. Since nothing seems to challenge him anymore, he has taken upon himself to beat luck itself. The only moment he feels any kind of joy is when he takes risks and gambling has given him exactly that. After skipping class to gamble yet again, he sees something on the way to the club. After looking closer he finds a small coin on the ground and as soon as he picks it up he is transported to another world. -Issekai Mockery is exactly as the title suggests, a satire fiction novel making fun of the Issekai genre in subtle and not so subtle ways with the sole purpose of putting a smile on the readers' faces, the novel will feature a lot of Issekai and mmorpg jokes. Don't forget to comment and rate the fiction as I want to listen to some feedback.
8 136Transition and Restart
If you were transported from this world to another almost identical. If you were transported from your life to your teenage self.If you had to restart your life again.Would you, or would you cling to your memories? This is a Japanese manga/anime -style slice of life high school romance with a splash of sci-fi. Ensemble cast, so if you only want one main character this is not for you. It's also a repost of books I already published here. It's cleaned up, and it's published the way I meant it to be read. For those reasons the very concept of a release schedule lacks meaning. Chapters are either miniscule or humungous.
8 201Rooms of the Desolate
Rooms of the Desolate is a collection of short stories designed to guide the reader through the many rooms and mysteries of the bleak and greyscale labyrinth of the Desolate. The first entry, "The Forever Tower" follows an unnamed wanderer climbing an endless, colourless tower; the only world they have ever known. As they slowly ascend alongside the masses, they consider the nature of their world and look to the corridors as temptation beckons. The second entry, "Production Line", follows an engineer in a boundless factory, who encounters a product that does not wish to bow to the overseers and makes them question their belief in the truth and duties they were made to believe. Content guidelines: Current entries do not include explicit profanity, but future entries may do so, hence the presence of that tag. Some entries do include gore and violence, though not currently to particularly extreme degrees. The Desolate is exactly that: a desolate world; as such, it is bleak, downtrodden, and may deal with mental struggles. Cover art credit: Adam Borkowski on Pexels.
