《The Golden Throne》Going to Dilheim

The ride started off very smoothly. The caravan moved slowly for the comfort of Liu Feng, but he ordered them to reach a town to rest, lest they get robbed in the dead of night. They rode fast without rest until they reached the nearest town. The problem with the capital city was that it was too big a monopoly for other towns to exist, so the nearest town was thirty miles out. They booked the biggest inn clean, and rested. Liu Feng, ofcourse, got a first class suite, but he wasn’t interested in sleeping anytime soon.
He looked out at the vast expanse, and then at the streets. There were fewer people than in the capital, but that was expected. He had ordered the caravan to be secretive about their identities, so it was not a hassle to move around without being undetected. Liu Feng detested huge crowds near him, and he wanted to avoid alerting any enemies of the Kingdom of his movements. Liu Man already arranged for a body dupe in the castle, and no one would know that Liu Feng would be attending the castle as the prince. He would be a distant cousin bearing the same name as a coincidence.
Liu Feng meditated the entire night. He was a magic freak and practised whenever he got the time. It was as if he was preparing for misfortune to strike. Years of training had honed his senses, and he was a mage of extraordinary prowess, by even the ancient era’s standards, much less now.
The next morning, the caravan set to the road again. This time, they were planning to go the entire way in one shot, so the aravan bulged up in supplies, and they looked like a merchant caravan.
“Careful guards. There are multiple bandit groups in the area. If they catch wind of a caravan, they will attack. You must be in tip top condition”, the Captain of Guards ordered. In the carriage, Liu Feng sat with Nicholas Graim. Nicholas sat on the other side with his hands on his sword the whole time. He was alert, ready to fight. Liu Feng lay down on the couch, but he was actually trying to sense the mana in the air. One of the benefits of mages was that if they were trained enough, they could use mana to sense the area around them, and see if there were any enemies.

Liu Feng planned to use mana to detect if there were any enemies for the whole trip. He was very cautious, as any misslip in this trip would be a blemish in his record. Imagine that, failing in his first mission! But he had to keep a calm and cool exterior to put a front for his subordinates.
“Being royalty is really hard. I am feeling the same pressure as I did as a CEO!”, He thought to himself. Then, he felt the mana change slightly on the right side of the road, where stood a forest. It seemed that someone was using the forest as a cover. He called out the captain of the guards,
“Lincoln, it seems we have company. Best take care of it now, or things will escalate if he goes back to his camp.”
“Of course your Highness, I mean my lord.”. Lincoln looked around, making sure no one heard his mistake. Then he suddenly charged at the right side of the road without any warning, and caught a man who was recording the number of men in the caravan. He raised his sword to behead them when Liu Feng called out,
“I am in a good mood today. No blood shed right now. Bring him with us to Dilheim, and lock him in the dungeons. We could always use some free labour.”
“Of Course my lord. Your wish is my command.”. Lincoln tied up the spy and brought him along.

Hermione Granger and The Boy-Who-Lived (OC!SI)
To Hermione Granger, the boy she met on the Hogwarts Express was Harry Potter, a nice, if odd, boy who's very likely going to get her killed, or worse expelled. To Harry Potter, the girl he met on the Hogwarts Express was Hermione Granger, a nice, overly rule-abiding girl who he'd considered to be one of the few (somewhat) reasonable people in an overrated book series he read.A book series that, against his will, has now become his life. I know right? I mean, who still writes Harry Potter fics, everybody knows the world has moved on to Worm and ASoIaF.But you know what? It's NaNoWriMo, so screw it, I'm gonna do this.Enjoy.Or don't. Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
