“Shadow Archer.
An extinct class. Made to survive the most dangerous jungle in the world. It is a highly agile and highly dangerous class. Beware, the skills gained will be hard to utilize. Also your vitality will permanently be set to 1. ”
“Archer Archer
An all around well rounded Archer. Basic skills will be received.”
“Flame Archer.
Throughout the ages, putting fire on the end of an arrow has been a popular tactic. Recently, more complicated forms have arisen. Archery and fire make a great mix. However, whilst fire is strong and vivid, it is not lasting. Stamina will be capped at 20.
“Power Archer
The ancient Indians thought strength was what made a man, a man. Their healers put today's warriors to shame, yet alone the archers. If this class is chosen, strength will become abundant but you will no longer gain any skills.
“Perceiving archer
There are many eyes, eyes that can break a man, eyes that can make a man, eyes that can peer into the future. This class is unique to the system and is one of its kind. That being said, if this class is picked. You will go blind.
“Suppressing archers.
AFPM, arrows fired per minute is everything that counts against giant hordes of enemies. The skills gained here will be primarily crowd control oriented. Perception will be cap at 10. “
When Arne finished reading all the options, he felt overwhelmed. There was many great options, too many to choose from.
The most effective class. That was what he needed, he wanted to become an adventurer and scour the world. He thought that if this class could survive the most dangerous jungle on earth, then it should be able to survive any other place.
He chose Shadow archer.
His heart thumped loudly. Vines pushed outwards like tentacles scraping and shoving itself through a tight space. The vines spread out over both his arms and rested as pitch black tattoos. The vines thumped alongside the heart, blood circulated through them. White skum exited his mouth. He passed out.

He woke up later to the crackle of fire. Shadow was gnawing on a bone, his teeth looked sharper. Arne didn’t want to get bit from him anymore.
Arne brought his arm up and inspected it. it was covered in intricate patterns tattoos. He brought the arm closer to himself. He found it sick, the best adventurers always had cool tattoos. Logan rested on a tree, his face cloaked in shadows.
“Finally awake huh?” Logan said.
“Yeah.”
“What happened?”
“Well. Ummm. I passed out?”
“Yeah I noticed. I made a small camp.”
“Did you take care of the skeleton crystal?”
“Yup.”
“Well great.” Logan said, “listen I’m sorry for hitting you before. it was a mistake on my part.”
“Thanks for saying sorry.”
The fire crackled through their silence. Arne sat up, he felt groggy. His arms felt sore, as if he had strained them for too long. The darkness cloaked around them, stopped only by the diminishing light of fire.
.
He heard grasshoppers screeching, and the long howls of owls. It felt rather cold but as his mind was becoming sharper he felt awake and alert. He mumbled, “Status.”
------

------
As the description had said. His vitality was back to one, how fragile was he now? Also, it more specifically detailed his class as shadow archer now. He had gained two new skills. Shadow bow, and shadow manipulation. He said,” Shadow bow.”
His already overstrained arm strained itself again. His veins popped out, the tattoos covering it tightened like a screw being tightened. On the end of his left hand the grip of a bow appeared. It was made completely out of a block substance, and the string looked see through. Arne brought his finger to the string and flicked it. It felt slimy.

“Woah, that’s pretty cool,” Logan said.
“Yeah right.”
Arne took an arrow out and pulled it back on the bow. The string snapped. The skill seemed pretty weak for now. He said, “Shadow circulation.” Nothing happened. Arne thought, “That skill must be different, perhaps that’s what passive stands for.”
He silently mutturud, “assignment,” not wanting to come off as crazy.
-----
Assignment:
Points to distribute: 0
Powershot: 0
Rapid shot: 0
Focus: 1
Shadow bow: 1
Shadow warp: 0
Shadow shot: 0

He had gained 3 new skills. He was excited to figure out what they did. But, shadow circulation was missing from here. He wondered how he’d be able to improve that skill. Either way, he knew now that if he wanted to unlock his skills, he’d have to gain Xp.
That meant he’d have to go kill monsters.
He’d have to start tomorrow, unless he wanted to venture through the dark forest as clueless prey. He’d be especially weak prey, now that his vitality was 1. He pinched his hand, blood trickled out..
He banged his hand into the ground. It turned all blue and hurt like hell. He was never the toughest person, but now he could take a punch or two, or he used to. Andre thought, “I’ll really have to learn how to avoid hits now.”
With nothing to do, he gazed at the fire. Shadow had fallen asleep, and Logan had shut his eyes. Logan brushed the tattoos on his arm with his fingers, they stuck out if only slightly.
He heard steps a small distance away. There was many of them, his head jerked towards that direction.
“Logan.” Andre whispered loudly.
“Don’t mind them.” One of Logan’s eyes peered open. “They won’t come to the fire unless they’ve prepared.”
“Do you know what those are?” Arne asked.
“They’re goblins.”
Goblins. Arne had roughly five days left to kill ten goblins.
