A couple of days later, things were tranquil in London. Any kind of tension between the Nether Elite faded away in time. Kayla still had her suspicions and began her own investigation, unbeknownst to everyone else. Nevertheless, the four wolf girls decided it was best to begin on their law enforcement training and learn the ropes of action becoming international police officers.

It wasn’t much of a crash course since Kayla, Ryoko, and Ayeka were doing this kind of training since January. However, Natalia came back around early September of this year. They were still amazed by how she transformed her entire body, having such a muscular build. She wasn’t fat as she was skinny, but she did lack the strength and conditioning of an operative.

Around Interpol headquarters in London, Senna Reese was still hard at work on the preliminary investigation of Bĕhēmōṯ Firas. Who he was and what he became a lesson of frustration. It was a good thing that the Crux Nexus offered their assistance.

Usually, that wasn’t the case. It was the heir apparent that the Aethereal Queen started to become more hands-on with such affairs and became more open with the resources ten years ago. The world itself benefited from it as everyone began to learn and understand the Aether and the Nether than ever before.

It was late in the afternoon, and Senna was typing up her evidentiary reports. Until she received an email about her preliminary investigation. She opened up the attachments one by one, and what she read horrified her to the point where she was frantically looking for her smartphone.

She immediately called her superior, Miles Renfield, about the latest news, “ma’am! It’s me, Senna! We got it all wrong! We were so wrong!”

Getting Miles’ attention, Senna wasted no time rushing to her office and going over her discoveries. To be quite honest, Miles was anxious about her discoveries, as well. They knew they were sitting in a major scandal that would crush any kind of dream or goal that Dolph has in the future.

“Okay, Senna, what you got!” Miles urged.

Senna took a deep breath and pretty much said everything in one go, “Forget about everything you have known about the coalition that we have found everything! The terminology of the beast is wide-scoped and can be misinterpreted! Everyone was so dead set and focused on one particular profile when we discovered something else, it branched off into a separate profile on its own--!”

“Senna, take deep breaths in between! I don’t want you to pass out like last time!” Miles reminded as Senna began to breathe a little bit more.

“When the Holy Mother said that ‘the beasts’ will consume everything years ago. Consequently, we all thought it was her former lover. It wasn’t. She was trying to warn us about something else…”

Miles groaned in contempt, “that bitch again… She just never gives up, does she?”

“It is all in the book of revelation, and even then there are many forms! However, it all points in one direction. The riddle to find the beast left by her years ago...” Senna indicated as she recants the riddle. “It points out every single flaw as I see with my own eyes. No matter how hard I try, I will never be accepted by it. What it's staring back at me is what I hate the most…”

“Mirror, I know…” Miles lazily guesses.

“No, not a mirror. Your own reflection! I mean, who else critiques you harshly or puts you on a higher standard other than anyone else? Yourself,” Senna explained.

Lying back in her chair, Miles began to think things over about what the Holy Mother was trying to imply, “The Oleander Syndicate is the beast.” She spit-balled.

“Not quite. There is so much to this! So much more!” Senna enthusiastically clamors. “This is ingenious! It’s brilliant! According to the book of revelation, there are two beasts and a dragon that opposes God! The first beast comes ‘out of the sea’ and is given authority and power by the dragon. This first beast is initially mentioned in Revelation 11:7 as coming out of the abyss. But never mind the appearance, but how it is described. The clue is ‘Out of the sea,’ meaning water.” Senna explained.

Still, Miles was a bit dumbfounded by the discovery, “The sea… the city of Madrid is next to the sea? I don’t get it…”

“Everything has a double meaning… What else is symbolic of water?”

“Since we’re talking about religion, the ocean?” Miles guesses.

“Yes! The ocean, God’s children, the astrological sign of Aquarius!” Miles confirmed. “In the Oleander Syndicate, who was born on between January 20 and February 18?!”

Miles read over the personnel list and remembered many birthdates by heart. She shrugged her shoulders and went down the usual list of who was born between those dates, “Mortimer, Myers, Sanji, Clarke—" and then like a lightning bolt hitting her in the back of the neck, Miles finally found some clarity in this discovery, “Silvestri… Natalia Silvestri fits this first beast completely, given so much power and authority at a young age. Her being the leader of the elite and having her own auxiliary army of 500 before she was even 21 years of age! So, Dolph is the Dragon of the story?”

“Not even close. The second beast comes ‘out of the earth’ and directs all peoples of the earth to worship the first beast. The second beast is described in Revelation 13:11-18 and is also referred to as the false prophet.” Senna explained, going to her notes. “Throughout the story, the two beasts are aligned with the dragon in opposition to God. They persecuted the ‘saints’ and those who do ‘not worship the image of the beast of the sea’ and influence the kings of the earth to gather for the battle of Armageddon.”

“God or God’s reminder…?” Miles waffled. “Dolph was preaching about the syndicate bringing peace to the world in the little speeches he used to do. But in his last one wasn’t a speech; it was an admission of guilt.”

“In the end, the two beasts were defeated by Christ and are thrown into the lake of fire mentioned in Revelation 19:18-20,” Senna reading off the remainder of her notes.

“The holy fire-bombing London…” Miles concluded as she scowled. “Natalia Silvestri and Dolph Eichner were the two beasts as Adrian Eichner was the dragon. Revan Zayne, who was Lady Memento at that time saw through their bullshit and intervened…”

“But she wasn’t there, remember? She got arrested on trumped-up charges and with a kangaroo court. And as good as her sons are, they are not their parents…” Senna mentioned.

“That means someone else must have caught on and put a stop to this…” Miles pondered as she reached for her landline phone and made a phone call. “Getting back to the riddle of every reflection needs a mirror… I know now. The mirror and who that person is…” Waiting for a reply, it didn’t take long for someone on the other line to pick up.

“Fate is by the Dawn, Delta Crucis,” the receiver responded.

This relieved Miles that the Crucis Sentinel answered, “Delta Crucis, this is Renfield. I know you’re still busy with the search, but we have something that we want to share with you and hope to put an end to this nonsense.”
