《In Z Finite》31 - The Indigo Rogue

In a small, empty village, two posters can be seen side by side, one of them was a missing poster with an impressive illustration of a young boy with black hair and blue eyes dressed in noble, expensive clothes, under him was a huge reward. The other one was a wanted poster with a crude drawing of a masked man sloppily painted blue with a much smaller reward under it.
Over the posters on the houses' shaky roofs, the masked man, completely dressed in blue clothes, ran as his also blue hair swayed to the wind along with a huge bag he carried on his back. All while, two guards were chasing him on the ground.
One of the guards yell with a grumpy and tired voice.
-Stop it, brat! Drop the goods and surrender!
The other guard, sounding even more tired somehow, let out a question to the wind.
-How the hell did he get up there?!
The masked man looks at them from above the house with a smug look in his eyes.
-It's useless! I am above you, in many ways! There is nothing you can do!
One of the guards raises his hand while the other draws a crossbow and takes aim.
The masked one.
-Oh yeah, there's that... you could do that...
Guard, the first.
-Shoot!
The masked one.
-Hey, here is an idea, don't shoot.
The second guard shoots.
The masked man then opened a portal right in the trajectory of the bolt together with a series of small portals all around the guards, they looked around, amazed by that sudden and spectacular sight, for a little while. Because the bolt soon crossed through one random portal and entered another one, and this began to repeat, very quickly, and now they had no more time to stare.

The guards then started to dodge the bolt and run away from the portals as the bolt randomly flew from one portal to the other.
The masked man sat down on the roof and supported his head with his hand, as he watched them suffer, clearly enjoying it.
-Heh. - He says.
One of the guards stumbled and fell to the ground while the bolt flew towards him, now with little speed. Upon seeing this, the eyes of the masked rogue widened with anticipation, but he was quickly disappointed when he saw the bolt meekly falling to the ground.
-Boo! No fun… you're too lucky.
Guard, the first, yells while he was getting up from the ground with one fist waving in the air.
-That brat! Wait, these clothes, it's not possible! Could he be the Indigo Rogue?!
The masked one.
-Ugh…
Guard, the second.
-What?! Do you mean he is the thief with a magical crystal who's been looting the surrounding villages?!
The masked one.
-UGHRHG…
Guard, the second, continues.
-But wait, wasn't he called Indecent Rogue?
A fist appears from a portal and hits the second guard.
The masked one yells as he takes his arm out of the portal.
-What's the matter with you guys?! I get it, I'm stealing and I wear blue, but come on! Be more creative!
Guard, the first.
-Man, we didn't even give you this nickname...
The masked one.
-Yeah, but you are spreading it! You are part of the problem!
Guard, the second.
-Then why did you attack me?! I didn't say Indigo Rogue.
The masked one.
-No, but somehow your version is even worse! I'm very decent and dignified, you know?
Guard, the second, answers.
-No, you are not, you are a thief.
Guard, the first.
-Do you even know what dignified means?

The masked one.
-I think it's like, worthy of respect or something?
Guard, the second.
- Yeah, worthy. And you're a thief, you take what's not yours, how can you be worthy?
The masked one.
-I mean, I kind of worthy of these things, I put a lot of effort into getting them.
Guard, the second.
-No, you didn't, you just used that little magic stone of yours, you privileged brat.
The masked one.
-Shut up!
Guard, the first.
- Are you going to cry now?
The masked one.
-Hey! You are imperial soldiers, right? So what I stole from you came from taxes, right?!
Guard, the second.
-Yeah, why?
The masked one.
-There it is! Taxing is pretty much stealing from the people! Suck it!
Guard, the first.
-No, it's not.
The masked one.
-Of course it is.
Guard, the second.
-Even if it was, how would that justify you stealing from us?
The masked one.
-Well, it kind of justifies it, you know? Thief stealing from a thief, a little of a grey area there.
Guard, the second.
-This is stupid.
The masked one.
-You're stupid!
Suddenly, the window of the house below the masked one opens and a woman comes out of it clearly annoyed.
-Hey, can you just arrest him already? I don't pay my taxes for you guys to just talk.
Guard, the first.
-Calm down ma'am, we're already doing it.
The masked one.
-What?! You are nowhere close to arresting me! All you are doing is just talking to...
He then feels like an idiot as he suddenly realizes something, he quickly turns around only to see a third guard on the edge of the roof with half his body grabbing the edge, as he was clearly trying to climb, it was very awkward.
The masked one screams.
-Sneaky bastards! - And then immediately open a portal and jumps into it.
Guard, the first.
-And he ran away...
Guard, the second.
-Damn, what are we going to say to the commander?
Guard, the first.
-Magical child excuse?
Guard, the second.
-Magical child excuse.
Women
-You are all terrible...
The portal ends up leading right inside a wooden hut, in there were two beds with Caelum and Sapere resting in them, next to the bed was a short angel with a child-like face taking care of their injuries.
Right after he jumps off the portal, the masked man takes off his mask revealing that he was actually... Zarco! Obviously.
