5 months of eating, sleeping, and stalking wildlife later, I had finally gotten an evolution. A rather bland one but anything is helpful in attempting to get that blue orb from the drake.

The evolution I had unlocked was Great Wolf, nothing special
Great Wolf - Small Evolution
Achieved by being half a year old and achieving some other manner of feat.
A great wolf is a wolf that has increased its physical capabilities to be more fighting-oriented. It requires more food than a regular wolf but in return, it is capable of single-handedly taking down larger, more powerful prey.
Soon after I chose the Evolution I lost consciousness.
When I woke up I checked my stats.

I could definitely feel the effects of the upgrade, my muscles felt denser, my fur felt harder, and I felt overall improved. None of my other menus had any real new information.

My evolution menu had changed a little to reflect my new evolution but overall remained the same.

I headed out to see how much more powerful I was, It was at that moment I realized how hungry I really was. When I got out of my den I sniffed the air and scented the drake so in accordance with my earlier decisions… promptly headed in the other direction. Once I got about a mile away from my den I spotted my first target, a bear. It was no ordinary bear though, I had learned this lesson very early on, it was an earth bear. Capable of hardening its skin to an incredible degree for short periods of time and very strong on its own, I hadn't stood a chance. Until now, I charged the bear, and with the element of surprise on my side, I got in a quick scratch with my claws. The bear roared and quickly turned to face me, it growled and quickly pounced, with my high agility I was able to quickly dodge out of the way,

“You’ll have to be quicker than that to catch me,” I taunted.
I quickly slashed again but the bear's skin was still hard as a rock. I ran away, no, tactically retreated, to wait for the bear’s rock skin to wear off. I knew it would wear off because I had stalked it for weeks in preparation to hunt it.
Once the rock skin wore off I charged and started slashing as furiously as I could, for I knew that the bear would use the ability again as soon as it could. When the ability activated again the bear was heavily bleeding and beginning to slow, it was when the ability wore off the thing I was most worried about happened, I had seen it happen the other times the bear was close to losing, it roared.

Dungeon of Night
Eden is at peace. The kingdoms and races will have the odd skirmish, and occasionally there will be an outbreak of a particularly dangerous monster that hunters would have to face, but largely Eden was in a time of tranquility. On the surface. In reality the kingdoms were each looking for something to give them the winning edge over their neighbors, many secretive groups hatched plots and schemes in search of power, and the number of deadly monsters grew with every year. In this time of false peace a strange dungeon is born, one that could potentially change Eden forever. But more importantly the birth of this new dungeon could shatter the façade of peace that has held sway over Eden for the past three hundred years. On Hold Random Releases

God Blade (Hiatus)
Theo, a prodigy of sword and an aspiring adventurer, lives in an RPG-like world where everyone has their own level and skill. However, his is a hardcore RPG world where more than half of its human never gets higher than level one. So who is Theo you ask? Was he a ninja trying to be a leader in his hidden village? Was he trying to be a pirate king? Maybe a teenager summoned from another world? A chosen one of the god? A man whose girlfriend is secretly the demon queen? A cook in a journey to make the greatest dish? Or maybe the reincarnation of an ancient Dark Lord? Well, No. Theo is a man born in that world. An NPC you might say. Not only that, he wasn't even the true hero or the main protagonist of his own world. But he does have to meet all those people during his journey to accomplish his dream. ----- 1 chapter every 2 or 3 days. I don't claim the MC of my story to be not cliched. With so many stories on the internet right now, It's almost impossible if not outright impossible to make an original MC. The best I can do is pick the kind of cliched MC I like the most and give it a twist of my own. English is not my first language, so there will be some mistakes in every chapter. Please notify me in the comment if you found one (Or some). I'm still an inexperienced writer, so feedbacks and reviews are very much appreciated.

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!

The Choice of Twilight
Growing up has always been difficult. It's even worse when you have to do it all in one night. On the eve of his thirteenth birthday, Ty awakes to find himself in a dreamworld, one-so he is told-that exists to pit him against his greatest fears and insecurities. And to ready him for a final choice. Luckily, Ty is not without friends. He soon meets Gentry, a wooden puppet his grandfather made for him years ago, walking and talking, ready to help Ty learn what he needs to return home in one piece. But that won't be easy when a cruel and abnormally tall skeleton dressed in mockery of Santa Claus and his suit hates Ty's guts. San wants nothing more than to best Ty and do what none of his kind has ever done before: defeat a child that has made "the choice." But Ty will stop at nothing to fight back against everything San's got in order to face his fears and grow up. Because, if he doesn't, he will end up a kid forever. Or, worse...never wake up again. This story is perfect for you if you are a fan of Coraline and Kingdom Hearts, both of those stories greatly inspired this one. I have recently added the Isekai tag after being unsure if it counts or not. I've decided it fits the description of what it is but not the current trends in the genre. If you go in with Coraline in mind I think you will have a better idea of the kind of Isekai this is. And I've also added the Slice of Life tag, that is only for the first five or six chapters though, then Ty enters the dream world and it pretty quickly becoms a progression fantasy, a mix of more traditional fairy tale like trappings alongside more anime action and acquisition of slowly increasing powers. With all that out of the way, please enjoy! Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! What time of day? It's a mystery! (For now)
