Once the Drake had left I began slowly sneaking towards the exit. Taking care to be as subtle as I could, which is hard when you are glowing blue. When I finally got to the exit of the den I looked around, no drake in sight, good. I sprinted as fast as my lupine body would allow in the direction of my den, no drakes there. After a short detour to hunt some sort of flaming bird, not a phoenix, that tasted a lot like fried chicken, I got to my den. Once there I looked over my stats and I found something new, in the evolutions menu, I had gained a feat.

Well, that's new, I got a feat for escaping the Drake's den, no new evolution, unfortunately. It does seem that I may need more than 1 feat to achieve another evolution. I was beginning to wind down when I noticed something on my other menus

That… could be bad, infinite duration too. When I thought about it a menu came up informing me of what it did.

You are hunted by the Virsilva Drake: If the Virsilva Drake ever sees you it will instinctively know that you have been in its den

The only way to remove this effect is by getting approval from the Virsilva drake or becoming unrecognizable in physical form, mana signature, and soul.

Ok yeah, that's pretty bad. The first condition is not happening and the second one seems to be achievable by evolving into something completely new, although on the plus side I got a menu for explaining what things do instead of just getting the knowledge inexplicably entered into my brain. That's nice.

For now, though I think I’ll just stick to avoiding the drake at all costs, it can't track me unless it knows my smell and it can't associate my smell with a thief until it sees me. Sooo… we are gonna be hiding for a while, or according to this effect, forever. Once I woke up and hunted, MOAR CHICKENS, I decided to get some serious work done on attempting to figure out what I could do to evolve. I had a couple of Ideas on feats, but they all seemed rather difficult, so it seemed I was stuck waiting to get older to gain an evolution. Argh, waiting I hate it, but it seems that's what I’m stuck with. It was 3 weeks later when something interesting finally happened, I got a message?
