As the two girls ran westward, it is noticeable that a nearly see-through field dissipates in the sky and a black smoke emanating from the direction they were heading became more visible. They hurried. Akino glances at Alexa and saw her scowled expression.

Akino: What is it?

Alexa: Can’t you hear it? I can hear screams and smell blood!

Akino turns off her heightened sense to not bother her, however Alexa didn’t. She keeps her senses up, maybe because she wants to fill her lack of another ‘vision’. That seemed to backfire, Alexa has a wide array of senses due to her abilities, and hearing screams and smelling blood from a burning place might have triggered something inside her.

They reached the outskirts of that tribe, but it seems they were too late. They went to the bushes and observed the area. There are about forty men standing at different locations, some were wearing plated armor armed with swords and shields or spears, similar to those in fantasy-fiction, others were wearing white robes and holding an elegant crystal staff. Every house, seemingly made of wooden materials and looks an ordinary forest inn, were burned by them. A lot of corpses were on the ground. It is visible that the dead people have fluffy tails, or what you call demi-humans in fiction. At the middle of them all were three men wearing glamorous armors and wielding glowing swords, and a single woman sitting on the floor, holding a single sword on her right arm. She was drenched in blood, and her left arm was amputated. The two continued observing the situation, and saw that the armored men started to bring out dead children from one of the houses, and then the women, all naked and have blood all over their middle groin, and the men were obviously re-wearing their trousers.

Akino doesn’t realize yet, but her blood is boiling. Rage. And it shares a same fate with Alexa. Without any word, Akino turns her left arms into a silenced sniper rifle and Alexa crawls on all four while making herself ‘invisible’, blending into the surroundings. Akino pointed to one group of four men, laughing while kicking and spitting on the corpses. She took a shot. It hit the knee of one of them and screamed in pain. The small group were confused and became more terrified as the invisible Alexa dragged the wounded guy towards the bushes. After Alexa drags the poor guy, she took the kill by twisting the head of the wounded man. Akino and Alexa looked at each other and nodded in sync. Alexa went again towards the group, while Akino took some non-lethal shots on people wearing robes and clear headshots on the armored ones.

The whole company of these men were bewildered, as they witness every single one of them dies. Seeing the other heads of their companions were exploding, and others getting pierced to their knees then getting dragged by some unknown force towards the bushes. Little did they know, the two girls were hunting them down. The three men at the center of the tribe abandoned their sights on the wounded woman.

Armored Man#1: What is this sorcery?!

Armored Man#3: This is weird… the attacks are not… mana infused. This is not a magic attack!

Armored Man#2: What?! That’s impossible!

The second man faces towards the wounded woman, lifted her by strangling her neck.

Armored Man#2: What did you do?!

The woman just groaned, then the man drops her. He looked back, seeing his fellows shielding themselves. Nobody was left alive but the four of them, the rest were missing along with the ground pull of ‘dragged’ blood stains or dropped on the ground with exploded heads, having brain matter splattered everywhere. And then Alexa appeared in front of them, but she has a muscular body built and three meters tall. Her hands were morphed like the clubbed claws of a mantis shrimp, her face is covered with a mask made of white carbon fiber, with single eyehole on the right side and a zigzag mouth. The three men were terrified, but stood still in front of her, with their weapons readying to attack her. They were about to jump towards her, but Alexa was faster. She plunges towards the three, and swiftly swings her clubbed claws. It hit, but not on them, some sort of barrier was in between them, but the cracks were visible on it.

Armored Man#1: What kind of monster is this? It was able to crack may Lotus shield?!

Alexa: I AM NOT A MONSTER!!!

Alexa roared in an eerily manner and proceeds to hit the barrier for the second time. Her hit was so strong that not only it shattered the barrier, but also the one who putted up the barrier got thrown to the ground.

The other two struggled standing still because of the sheer force Alexa made hitting the barrier. They pointed their swords towards Alexa. Akino jumps in immediately, completely covered in black colored titanium plates and scaled carbon fiber suit. She wears a gas mask, with circled glass on its eye part glowing green. Akino tackled the second guy, but immediately evades her attack. He moves swiftly and swings his thin long sword like some sort of a martial artist.

Armored Man#2: You can’t defeat me, abomination! I am a knight of the Great-

Akino: Shut the fuck up, will ya?

Armored Man#2: What?!

Akino shotguns the man in the face, completely shattering his face and piercing holes on his head. The third guy, terrified tried to run away, but Alexa got him by using her tentacle hair. She grips the guy until he explodes like a watermelon wrapped with rubber bands. The guy who got thrown on the ground was about to get squashed by Alexa when Akino stopped her.

Akino: Hey, calm down now.

Alexa: But!

Akino: No buts, go tend that girl. I’ll handle him.

Armored Man#1: Handle me?! You magic-less monstrosities will never handle-

Akino shot the man’s leg, interrupting his speech and began screaming in pain.

Akino: Do you want to get blasted, huh?! You answer my questions, or I’ll put more holes on your leg.

Armored Man#1: Wh-what do you want?!

Akino: What the fuck happened here?

The guy remained silent. He trembles. He clearly sees a girl, same of his kind, a human. But, he was confused, there’s nothing on their world the kind of armor Akino wears exist. He just stares at her, terrified and dazed. Akino loses her patience, she cocks her arm releasing a used slug, dropping it to the guy. The slug was hot, so it made the guy move like he’s not injured.

Akino: Ho? I shot you on the leg and you can move-

Akino notices that the wound on the guy’s leg already ‘healed’.

Akino: Already?

Armored Man#1: Who are you? I can see past through your souls with magic… but- but YOU! And that monster over there! BOTH OF YOU HAVE HUMAN SOULS?! WHAT ARE YOU?!

Akino: You’ve just said what we are, and one more thing, DON’T EVER CALL MY DAUGHTER A MONSTER.

Akino punches the guy on his gut. She punched him so hard he’s armor got pierced, and her arm passing through his stomach. She immediately pulls out her arm, drenched in guts and blood.

Akino: Goddammit! I went hard!

Akino pulls some sort of a cable with three claws and a needle in the center on her head. She extends it and stabs it to the back of the guy’s head.

Akino: Let’s see… hmm… Great Kingdom of Altruis? Demi-humans? Dark Lord? What the fuck?

She drops guys as she retracts the cable on her head and went to Alexa that was checking up the wounded woman, who happens to be a demi-human as well. White short-haired, has a white fluffy tail about a meter and a half in length, white fur on arms and legs, her hands were also covered in fur and has five human fingers but with long claw-like nails, her feet only has four fingers, additionally she has a voluptuous body build. She wears a black skimpy leotard with a turtleneck and has a small loin cloth, both made of material similar to the softness of cotton, but durable as hard leather. She also wears knee-high socks made of soft leather, and has holes on the foot part, revealing her clawed toes. It is noticeable that she has a single straight-line vertical scar on her left eye, and has young face doused in blood.

Akino: How is she?

Alexa: She’s unconscious due to blood loss, but still breathing. She’s half wolf, half human. I tried to reprogram her cells to regenerate quickly and repair her wounds but it’s not working. I am currently transfusing my blood to her. Don’t worry, its safe giving my blood to her.

Akino: Uhm.. good, good job.

Akino looks around, she activates her scanner and searches the whole place for a suitable shelter, other than the burned houses. She saw a cave, decorated with flowers and two pillars at the entrance. Must be a shrine for this wolf people. Akino assists Alexa, as she lifts the unconscious woman while Alexa continues transfusing blood.
