EXPERIMENT LOGS 3010-B

This file log consists of all the experiments done to the 100 human bodies uncovered all around the world after the events unfolded on October [], 3021 [SEE ADDENDUM 3000-A]. The Institutional Council decided to remove some parts of the file, which includes the exact dates to support the psychological morale of the current personnel reading this file.

A video log, entitled LOGS 3010-B-V#01, was right after the statement, Akino proceeded to view the log.

LOGS 3010-B-V#01

*A video shows a man in a lab coat, he has a blonde hair with short blowout cut. He appears to be nervous, and constantly drinks on a mug of coffee, his ID can be seen on the table, but it is unclear on the video what was written on it. After one minute of staring randomly at different directions and occasional coffee drinking, the man speaks as he focuses his view on the camera*

Man on the Video: Hi, umm this is my first time here on this lab… well, actually all of us in here were having this for the first time… I’m nervous, hehehhehe. Ehem… okay… My name is Dr. Powell Brown, head research administrator of Facility-13 here in Manhattan ruins. The date today is November 18, 3044. Three days has passed after the Institution established these research facilities worldwide and on the moon. We are tasked on investigating the effects of the ‘Enigma’ event that happened on 3021, as well as restoring the planet’s original state before the aforementioned event. With the help of the United Alliance and current technological advancements, we are able to stay on Earth despite the harsh environment we are currently facing. The Alliance will also guide all of the Institute personnel and other volunteers from being transferred from Earth to Moon, Earth to Mars, and vice-versa. For anyone who is taking a surf in the Institute database and happened to look here, this will be the evidence for our first step on reclaiming our beloved home. Thank you, and God speed!

Akino scrolled down the file log, other video logs were deleted. She thought it might be affected by the system error mentioned in the ADDENDUM 3000-A. She continued scrolling and saw another log.

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – The expedition held by the Institution on the Antarctic region has resulted in the discovery of 100 pieces of 0.5x0.5x0.5-meter cubes that remains suspended in the air despite the presence of gravity. The Institution took the cubes and returned them to Facility-13 for research, designating as Object - β. The following are the findings of the research team ALPHA on Object – β:

The cubes are made of 0.3 micrometers of cubical material with a composition of pure carbon. Analysis has shown that inside these microcubes are DNA like structures. Surprisingly, the DNA like structures were a perfect matched to the 100 bodies retrieved on October [], 3021 to March [], 3023 [SEE ADDENDUM 3000-A]. The cubes do not exhibit any form of radiation, as well as not affected by it. The cubes are not affected by any extreme external changes (pressure, temperature, electromagnetic field, mechanical force, etc.).

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – Research team ALPHA decided to place the Object – β beside their matched bodies in the Nuclear Cryogenic Containment chamber. Each body has its own pod that can regulate temperature, radiation, EM field, etc. As the Object – β are placed beside their matched bodies, it began merging with the matched bodies. But the merge showed no significant results other than Object – β disappeared as it merges with its matched body. The bodies also showed no significant changes.

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – 12 hours after the cubes were merged with the retrieved bodies, 58 of them began melting. The research team ALPHA tried to prevent it by decreasing the ambient temperature to -120 degrees centigrade but failed, the bodies melted and vaporized in thin air. Only 42 bodies were left unchanged.

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – 12 hours after the 58 bodies melted, 26 bodies began disintegrating. The temperature in the pods were further decreased but failed, the bodies slowly turned into dusts and disappeared in thin air. Only 16 bodies remained unchanged.

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – 24 hours after 84 bodies were NEUTRALIZED, additional 14 bodies began combusting. The temperature in the pods were further decreased but failed, the bodies turned into ashes and disappeared in thin air. Only 2 bodies remained unchanged.

E3010-B-02-[]-3179 – The 2 remaining bodies were left, Body#31 and Body#32, and it was observed that the two bodies has exhibited zero entropic processes at all. Research team ALPHA requested to perform experiments on the two bodies, and the Institutional Council approved.

It is the end of that log, right after that log was another video log. Akino was about to open the video log when she heard a clunking sound in the cafeteria. Akino shouted at Alexa, and Alexa shouts back.

Akino: ALEXA! YOU ALRIGHT?

Alexa: I’M FINE! JUST SOME COCKROACHES! ALSO I FOUND A SINGLE BAG!

Akino: OKAY! JUST MAKE IT QUICK!

Alexa: OKAY!

Akino then proceeds to open the video log.

LOGS 3010-B-V#33

*A video shows a woman with a long black hair in a lab coat. She wears an ID with writings “Dr. Yggdris Hielmach – Executive Research Head, ALPHA Research”. There were a lot of papers on the table where she was recording the video, and clearly the pictures of Akino and Alexa can be seen on the papers. The woman didn’t have a nervous face like the first one, she has a very serious face instead. As the video starts, the woman began talking while seriously looking at the camera*

Dr. Heilmach: Today is *bleep* October, year 3185, and it’s nine o’clock of the morning. The Institutional Council has given us approval to do experiments on the two remaining bodies that the Institution retrieved many years ago from the city ruins. Let’s see…

*The woman took the papers on the table and reads it*

Dr. Heilmach: Body#31 was a 12-year-old female, approx. 0.56 meters tall and weighs 50 kilograms, past records show that she was a cult victim that happened to escape, and she was the adopted daughter of Body#32? Wow, what a coincidence… Anyway, Body#32 was a 26-year-old female, approx. 0.98 meters and weighs 66 kilograms, the records showed that she was a junior detective from an Anomalous Crime Institute, and she was the one who took the responsibility of taking care of Body#31 after she escaped. What a good citizen… it was a shame that both of them got stuck in here, but they are deceased…

*The face of the woman was saddened as she looks away from the papers, but immediately regained her composure as she looks straight at the camera*

Apologies. As for the main characteristics, Body#31 has a long vertical stitch on her left eye, with short black hair not exceeding to her shoulders while Body#32 has brown long hair not exceeding to the wing bone, both have athletic body build but Body#31 is much thinner. Both bodies are not affected by any entropic processes, thus these two will not degrade over time, unless they were subjected into extreme conditions, which will be part of the experimental procedure these two will be on. Now that the Institute has given us approval, the experiments will begin at exactly 1300 hours. Please be advised that our acts does not demoralize these two bodies, it is a way of finding justice for them. Thank you, and God speed.

Akino looked away from the monitor, as if an electric circuit got through her. She can’t believe what she saw and heard. She can’t find the words to describe how shock and angry she was.

Akino: What the fuck were they doing?

As an anomalous crime detective, she've witnessed gruesome events in her career, but this was too much, investigating herself and her daughter. She has no choice but to keep on digging deeper in the logs even this thing makes her feel uneasy to the bones. With a sigh of disgust and unbelief, she turned back to the monitor and continued checking the other logs.

TEST LOGS 3010

E3010-B-10-[]-3185 – Before the experiment on Body#31 and Body#32 took place, five High-Level personnel (which does not belong the Facility-13 personnel data logs) came and examined both of the bodies privately. Dr. Heilmach talked to one of them and told her that they were ordered by the Institutional Council to install Beta-Quantum Cores in Body#31 and Body#32 for safety precautions. It is unknown to any Facility-13 personnel what is this Beta-Quantum Cores or its purpose, but the High-Level personnel redesignated Body#31 and Body#32 to Human Quantum Computer#31 (HQC-31) and Human Quantum Computer#32 (HQC-32). The five High-Level personnel left the facility after their four-hours stay via an Aero-space vehicle and went to Lunar Research Base-B.

E3010-B-10-[]-3185 – Following are the observations and experiments done to HQC-31 and HQC-32 for the next 4250 days.

DAY1 – An hour after the Beta-Quantum Cores were installed, HQC-31 turned its skin white, its five-fingered hands and feet morphed into four-clawed hands and three-clawed feet, fully covered in white fur that extends from the arm up to the lower part of the elbow and from the legs up to the lower part of the knee. The black hair turned into a thick white flesh with canine ears on each side, and anomalously HQC-31’s reproductive parts disappeared as well as its human ears. HQC-32 turned its skin into silver, then returned to its normal color but somehow it was covered like it was wearing a gray latex suit. Same as the HQC-31, HQC-32’s reproductive parts disappeared, but other than that, no other notable physical changes were observed on HQC-32. DAY1 – Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were subjected to extreme temperature environments (-200 degrees centigrade to 10000 degrees centigrade) for 14 hours, placed in vacuum-sealed chamber for 7 hours, and exposed to lethal radiation (3000 sievert) for 10 hours consecutively. Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 suffered body disintegration, radiation burn, and molecular breakdown during their exposure in the experiment. However, every time the experiment ends, HQC-31 and HQC-32 regenerates and rebuilds itself instantly. The experiment was repeated for the second trial, and both exhibited rapid instantaneous molecular regeneration during the experiment. The experiment was repeated for the third trial, and no notable changes were observed on HQC-31 and HQC-32 and remained unscathed. DAY3 – Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were submerged in liquid nitrogen and pressed with a 500 Mega Newton piston. Both were shattered instantly, but anomalously rebuilt itself in an instant. The experiment was repeated for the second trial, the 500 Mega Newton Piston was damaged instead, and both HQC-31 and HQC-32 remained intact. The experiment was stopped after the second trial. DAY6 – Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were autopsied to extract their organs. Ten surgical doctors were operating the bodies inside the Operating Room 7, and they observed that the bodies regrow the organs removed in an instant. During the operation, the doctors observed that both bodies exhibited ‘irritated-facial-reactions’. The doctors asked if they should stop, and the ALPHA research team told them to continue. 3 hours into the operation, the radiation level inside the operating room spiked up from 1.35 millisievert to 233 sievert. Operating Room 7 was locked down, leaving all the doctors inside despite of their pleads to be at least let them leave the area. The radiation continued to increase for 6 hours and stopped at the radiation level of 5000 sievert at the 7 hours, 34 minutes. The radiation level gradually decreased for 3 more hours, and decontamination protocols were implemented. After the decontamination, Operating Room 7 was reopened, and the horrendous sight of the doctors with melted bodies with the other equipment were seen. Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 remained unscathed, and the observed shadow rays that encircles both of the two bodies indicates that the radiation spike was caused by the two. Future experiments were halted while the ALPHA research team and the Institutional Council re-evaluates their current protocols on handling and experimenting on HQC-31 and HQC-32. DAY100 – After the accident during DAY6, the radiation level inside Operating Room 7 has reached to 1.5 millisievert. HQC-31 and HQC-32 were pulled out of the room and returned to their respective cryogenic pods at the Nuclear Cryogenic Containment Chamber. Only daily observations were done to both of it, Research Adviser [DATA EXPUNGED] was reprimanded for the irresponsible actions during the operation and sent to Facility-06 to face disciplinary action. DAY953 – Experiments were resumed as per approval of the Council. HQC-31 and HQC-32 were exposed to a laboratory made virus designated as VR-01 that attacks all living cells that can result to rapid cellular breakdown and can wield a 250% mortality rate on any known living creature. The two were exposed for 300 days inside a controlled environment sealed chamber, HQC-32 is not affected by the virus, however HQC-31’s body cells consumed the virus. After 300 days of exposure, there no virus left inside the chamber. A flesh sample was taken from HQC-31, and the DNA configuration of VR-01 was added to the overall DNA sequence of HQC-31. DAY1278 – The experiment was only conducted to HQC-31. HQC-31 was placed inside an empty chamber of 4x4x4 meters. A single metal door is the only way to enter and exit the chamber. After HQC-31 was placed inside, a hungry mutated grizzly bear with a height of 3 meters and weighs 200 kilograms was placed inside. The mutated grizzly bear was obtained near the Florida area and its head was covered in dense armor with claws that can cut through 3-millimeter-thick steel. The mutated bear approached HQC-31 and bit its arm, but the bear experienced seizures after. The chamber was placed in lockdown, and scanners detected the presence of VR-01. 3 hours later, the body of the bear was broken down into little rotten parts and the HQC-31 remained unscathed. 30 days was left to pass in order to retrieve HQC-31 safely without any risk of VR-01 contamination. DAY1308 – HQC-31 and HQC-32 were placed inside a chamber filled superconductors. Electromagnetic field were running throughout the whole chamber as the experiment starts, HQC-31 developed a hardened silicon skin that insulated the electricity making it unaffected, however HQC-32 absorbed the running electricity. 5 hours has passed and both bodies were tried to be removed from the chamber, but when the personnel tried to touch HQC-32 it created a huge lightning arc that burned the whole chamber within 0.56 seconds. HQC-31 and HQC-32 remained intact, however 4 personnel were killed due to immense electric shock from touching HQC-32 and 5 more personnel were injured with 3rd to 4th degree burns due to the heat created by the lightning arc that HQC-32 produced. The superconductors inside the chamber were melted due to high temperatures reaching 65000 degrees centigrade. Due to this incident, future experiments were halted while the ALPHA research team and the Institutional Council re-evaluates their current protocols on handling and experimenting on HQC-31 and HQC-32. DAY1453 – Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were exposed to NM-05 nanomachines, robotic bugs that spans 0.035 nanometers in length. The NM-05 were programmed to breakdown the molecular bonds of HQC-31 and HQC-32, and both bodies were injected with 3.5 liters of NM-05. HQC-31 anomalously absorbed NM-05, digesting it in unknown chemicals that immediately turned the NM-05 injected nonfunctional. HQC-32 did not show any changes, however, after 4 hours of exposure HQC-32 suddenly produced its own copies of NM-05 via its skin. The NM-05 injected into HQC-32 were inactive, and the copies of NM-05 produced by HQC-32 started to breakdown the whole chamber where both HQC-31 and HQC-32 are currently held. An immediate lockdown was initiated, closing the chamber with 5-meter-thick iron-lead alloy plates on all its 6 side. However, the copied NM-05s began breaking down the walls and the plates in a fast manner, thus the chamber was subjected into a 4000 degrees centigrade blast fire immediately stopping the copies of NM-05s. HQC-31 and HQC-32 remained intact, and a full 30 days was left to pass in order to retrieve the bodies safely. Due to this incident, future experiments were halted while the ALPHA research team and the Institutional Council re-evaluates their current protocols on handling and experimenting on HQC-31 and HQC-32. Research Coordinator [DATA EXPUNGED] was reprimanded due to the incident and sent to the Lunar Site – A1 to face disciplinary action. DAY2040 – Despite of the memo for halting any experiments on HQC-31 and HQC-32, Physics Engineering Head Anderson Law took both the bodies and placed inside the Ring-1A of Proton-Hadron Collider. Armed personnel tried to stop Law but he fired the collider, vaporizing both HQC-31 and HQC-32 into nothing. [DATA EXPUNGED]. 4 hours later, a spatial ‘void’ was detected inside the Ring-2B of Proton-Hadron Collider, personnel present at the area contacted the ALPHA research team, the Ring-2B was closed temporarily and the research team began observing and analyzing the anomaly. After 5 hours, huge surge of electricity and radiation came out of the void. All personnel have evacuated the area while the Ring-2B were placed in lockdown. 10 minutes later, both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were found inside Ring-2B. It is unknown how both HQC-31 and HQC-32 rematerialized after being vaporized. The ALPHA research team requested to the Institutional Council to further analyze the current situation. DAY2970 – The Institutional Council approved the request of the ALPHA research team. Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were placed inside the Experimental Ring-E1 of the Proton-Hadron Collider. The collider was fired, and both bodies vaporized until nothing was left. 2 hours has passed and another spatial ‘void’ was detected inside Ring-E1, the personnel deployed the 4-meter-thick protective shields around the Ring-E1 to avoid casualties when the ‘void’ produce sudden surge of electricity and radiation. After 1 hour, a [DATA EXPUNGED] was detected coming out of the void, the research team placed extremely durable sensors and cameras inside the Ring-E1, but after 197 seconds of [DATA EXPUNGED] the instruments inside became nonfunctional. However, the instruments were able to receive significant data, which is atoms were detected coming out of the spatial ‘void’, additionally the atoms detected were observed to arrange themselves in a very fast rate. After 1 minute, Ring-E1 was reopened for inspection, all the instruments inside Ring-E1 were melted and both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were found intact inside the Ring-E1. A series of tests were done, firing the collider, vaporizing both bodies, a spatial ‘void’ appears, and anomalously both HQC-31 and HQC-32 rematerialize inside the Ring-E1. As the tests progresses, the time intervals of the rematerializing process of both HQC-31 and HQC-32 became smaller and smaller. The 7th test ended up with the appearance of the ‘void’ 1 minute and 30 seconds after both bodies were vaporized, and the bodies reappeared after 30 seconds. As per the new protocol, the personnel must wait for 200 days before retrieving the bodies and returning them into their cryogenic pods to avoid any possible complications. E3010-B-09-[]-3196– The following are the summarized findings on the experiments and observations done to HQC-31 and HQC-32:

Both HQC-31 and HQC-32 are extremely resistant to environmental changes and seems to adapt instantaneously to any changes that damages them despite both were not exhibiting total stimuli. It is anomalous that HQC-31 only responds to biological factors (viral and bacterial exposure, reformation of cellular structure, etc.) and HQC to technological aspects (controlling nanomachines, interacting with the superconductors, etc.). Despite of the difference, both bodies exhibit abilities of extreme molecular modification and alteration on their own bodies as it was observed that both can rebuilt themselves in an instant. It is still in question what was the spatial anomaly that both HQC-31 and HQC-32 can create. The research team hypothesized that: (1) it leads to another spatial dimension that it is unknown to where actually it is, (2) it was the source of HQC-31’s and HQC-32’s possible unlimited energy, and (3) the source of the atoms that both HQC-31 and HQC-32 uses to reconstruct their bodies. These hypotheses were proposed to answer how both HQC-31 and HQC-32 were able to produce huge amounts of radiation and reconstruct their bodies in an instant without decreasing their mass or affecting the surrounding matter as they rebuilt themselves.

After reading the log, Akino tried to cut her right arm. Just thinking of cutting her right arm like a butter turned her left arm into a blade that was scorching red hot. She cut through her right arm like butter, she groans in pain as the blade passes through, and the arm drops. It was not bleeding but the burnt flesh and the bone can be clearly seen. Immediately after cutting her arm, a series of silver wires came out on the cut wound which reconnected to the right arm. The wires pulled back inside her with the severed arm, like when sewing two pieces of cloth into one. The right arm was reconnected, good as new and the pain was gone like nothing happened.

Akino: What the fuck?

Akino proceeded to scroll down to read more. She found out more files were deleted until she saw a video log that she proceeded to click on.

LOGS 3010-B-V#109

*A video shows a woman with a short black hair in a lab coat. It was Dr. Yggdris Hielmach again as can be seen on the ID she was wearing. The table was clear where she was recording, and she can be seen talking happily to someone on her left but the camera was focusing on her*

Dr. Heilmach: Yeah? All right, I’ll bite to your senseless date. Just make sure it was a good one, will you?

Voice of a man: YES! Wooohooo! I got a date with Yggdris!

*Loud running noise that dissipates can be heard and as the loud running noise disappears, Dr. Heilmach faced towards the camera smiling, she inspected the camera for a second, and her face turned red*

Dr. Heilmach: Oh… th-this is open? *deep sigh* This is embarrassing…

*She faced away the camera and covers her face. She can heard whispering but unclear on what she was saying. She turned back to the camera with her usual serious face*

Dr. Heilmach: Apologies. Today is *bleep* December of the year 3196. The Institutional Council has ordered us to fully seal HQC-31 and HQC-32 inside the cryogenic chamber. The… the council said that those two will be used to normalize the environmental instability of the planet… I don’t- I don’t know what the hell they were saying. The level 7 researcher that asked for our data results said that HQC-31 is the “Vessel of Ultimate Biological Evolution” while HQC-32 is the “Vessel of Ultimate Technological Evolution” … I think they were nuts, those two were just poor dead bodies, and I heard that they were planning to use those two to help in reform the humanity. They even told us that all human knowledge will be installed in them via their Beta Quantum Cores. I know they were telling a lot of things of just turning those into tools that will help all of humanity, but somethings not right…

LOGS 3010-B-V#110

*The video starts immediately with a short-haired woman and a man hugging each other on the far-left corner of the room. The woman was wearing a lab coat, and she tries to remove the blue polo-shirt of the man while he, probably, licks the woman’s neck*

Akino intensely watch the video, and she heard another clunk behind her, this time it is near to her place. Akino looked behind and she saw Alexa standing right there with a dumbfounded face while also looking at the screen. As Alexa noticed that Akino was looking at her, she looked her into the eyes in a very suspecting manner. Akino hurriedly stopped the video and looked back to Alexa.

Alexa: Really? This time?

Akino: I, umm, I found this in the experimental logs?

Alexa: I know I’m not allowed to say this, BUT WHAT THE FUCK AKI? RIGHT NOW?

Akino: Just get straight to the point!

Alexa: You are blushing! BLUSHING! Your face is all red! I know what you’re reading when you work on your personal laptop! The six digits! I knew it!

Akino: You touched my laptop?! How the hell did you know that?! AND I AM NOT BLUSHING!

Alexa: Ho~ho, I know your browsing history! ‘Coz you never placed a password on your laptop, you’re not deleting your browsing history, AND you’re placing your digits in a notepad right on your desktop! What kind of detective are you if you can’t clean up your own mess?!

Akino: *sighs deeply*

Alexa: Okaaay, I’ll pretend I didn’t saw those and that. By the way, I found this leather belt-bag. Only this thing was in the locker area, no other bags, not even clothes. As if this place was abandoned…

Akino: Can I have the bag?

Alexa: Yeah, I don’t even need it. You’re the one who’s always carrying a ‘utility belt’ or something, hahaha!

Akino: Yeah, right…

Alexa handed over the leather belt-bag Akino and sat beside her. Akino continued to scroll down the screen but the experiment logs seem to be redirected to another log file. A black omega symbol is now on the top of the screen, and a phrase is written below it.
