《Prince Of the Abyss》Master of Gravity

Endlessly accelerating, Jackel was falling like meteor towards the earth. From such a great height, Jackel had time to think about his circumstance. shit shit shit, Rydia said I had wings, why won't they come out of me! Jackel was at the halfway point between where he fell to the ground. He was still accelerating and feeling hopeless. He can envision his imminent death.
Why the hell did that kid push me off!! Jackel was angry and scared at the same time. you are the rising sun, you control what falls and rise in the world. feel the vibration of the air, feel the particles of existence! A familiar voice was talking to Jackel in his head. It was the same voice he had heard since senior year in high school.
The particles of existence? Jackel did not understand. but his body started to feel different. he could feel a buzz from his fingertip reaching all the way to his toe. He felt the vibration all around him as if they were always there.
The ground was getting closer and Jackel was feeling more pressured. The buzzing around his body started to grow more intense until he began feel electricity run through his entire body. He felt prickles in the air around him as if they were an extension of himself.
Screaming, Jackel brought his hand forward imagined all the electricity around his body flowing upwards.
When Jackel was thirty feet from hitting the ground, his body all of sudden lost all of its weight. He could feel the pressure building around him as he was suspended in midair as if frozen in time.
With another scream, he imagined all the air around him propelling upwards. And like a torpedo, Jackel shot himself into the air towards the rooftop.
In less than a minute, Jackel reached the place he fell, and he brought the air around him to a halt. He was suspended a few feet away from the roof. His eyes were levelled with Raphael.

"Impressive, you came up faster than you fell" Raphael said genuinely
"I am not in agreement with your teaching methods buddy" Jackel said angrily
"well, It worked didn't it, saves the trouble of having to teach you step by step" Raphael said innocently which fits well with his boyish face.
Jackel could not argue any further. He looked to Rydia, Hillel and Aviel. They were all smiling and looking proud of Jackel for having controlled the gravity.
This power was something no other entities knew how to do. A gift bestowed to the rising morning star. and they were finally able to witness the power again after countless years spent apart.
"I almost got to experience the abyss again" Jackel said to Rydia half seriously.
"I would go there to bring you back again if it came to that" Rydia said looking almost weary.
"again?" Jackel asked
But Rydia did not explain herself and almost looked tired while in thought.
"You two are not the only ones here you know." Aviel interrupted the moment. Which took Rydia out of her thoughts. she had a strange look on her face, as if she was older than her appearance.
"Unlike the other sinners, you still have a long way to go before you regain your powers. however your powers are like riding a bike, once you learn it, you never truly forget. When pushed I am sure you can remember them."
"Don't push too hard, I prefer the training wheels" Jackel said seriously.
"I like the practical approach" Raphael

The Way Ahead
What do you do when you don't fit in? Edwin never really felt many connections to other people, but as a physics student, that was fine. He didn't really need it, anyway. He was content to peel back the mysteries of the universe... not that there were many left to find. Modern-day research was just too well-established, too well-trodden for any single enthusiast to make any significant headway. But that doesn't apply to other worlds. Not ones where magic and Skills run rampant, where well-defined roles and Classes dominate much of society with little room for novel experimentation from its residents. That kind of world would be perfect for an overeager, newly-minted Alchemist to make his mark. Things are never that easy, though. The Way Ahead is a very slice-of-life story following the story of someone trying to find his place in a world that doesn't know what to do with him. Expect lots of science, lots of alchemy, a few sarcastic quips by the System, and lots of exploration involving the world, self-discovery, and above all, science. After all, further research is always required. Updates every other day at 9 AM PST. Congratulations! The Solipsist
Every novel needs a main character, and in this case, it's a young man named Jacob Bates. Jacob is your average guy who likes books, television, and long walks on the beach. One day, Jacob was diagnosed with a condition that made his body frail and weak. This drove Jacob to focus solely on his studies, ending up becoming a fairly capable guy, despite his condition. The road ahead was looking great! That's when a little scene occurred between Jacob's girlfriend and one of his male classmates. Jacob's mood was a little lower than dirt from thereon. His motivation to pursue his studies, gone. This event caused Jacob to fall into the death grip that is a job in retail. One day, while Jacob was mopping the cold floors of the grocery store he worked in, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him, notifying him that the world was going through a change. Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
