《Aurelia Online》Chapter 2H - Growing Pains

"Ugh........these past weeks have been hell......." complaining I imbue another arrow with ice and shoot it at the practice dummy.
See, apparantly the game had slowed down time to a 7:1 ratio so I could develop my character without wasting too much time. As such anything I did influenced my stats as my character was growing up, which in turn came with some interesting effects yet I wouldn't find out until later when my "parents" brought me to the church to check my status.
First off my constant anger and crying gained me both the banshee's wail skill and the rage stat and if that has been all I wouldn't be complaining too much yet after that it kept getting worse.
After I gained the skill and stat everything faded to black and then when I could see again I was in a room and noticed that there were a few books, a couple of toys, and a stuffed animal. Now seeing as I was still mad I figured I would take it out on the stuffed animal then read. This in turn gave me the chokehold skill, torture skill, and a bonus to my intelligence.
Blacking out once again I found myself in front of a training dummy with some toy weapons on a table nearby as well as some other elves playing there. Since I had decided to be a rear attacker I naturally picked up the bow. I soon regretted it yet couldn't change. This gave me the Persistence skill and Archery skill as well as increasing my torture a level and gaining the sadist passive when I got tired of the loud children and started shooting towards them.
Finally I found myself in a room with a young guy in a robe trying to teach me magic as well as constantly trying to sneak peeks at me. As a result I gained Mana Manipulation, Ice magic, Charm, and a level in sadist. Naturally after the lesson the guy left me alone, yet he seemed happy for some reason.

After all of that happened I was taken by my "parents" (who I had no recollection of and was surprised to learn they were a elf shopkeep and a half beastkin chef) to the church to get my status checked. Needless to say everyone including me and the priest were at a loss for words as my status looked like this.

Bipolar
"SERIOUSLY!!!! Bipolar?! Also it looks like some of my real life leaked over into here... this will make it harder to avoid too much attention...damn."
Afterwards my parents and I had a LOT of explaining to do, yet I passed it off as being on accident.
Now I am readying myself to get out of this damn town. I mean honestly who would want to live in a town called shaved ice? I still have to find where my Der is and claim my spot by him. And I guess meet up with meathead if I have the spare time.
I head inside through the tiny little house my parent's have and I have to admit there is something cozy about such a small abode. Running to my room I grab my pack as I hear the sounds of my parent's apparantly doing there duty to bring more kids into this world.....hehe just thinking about how I wish it were Der and me in that position brings a smile to my face...ugh enough about my fantasies.

Leaving my room I yell above my parent's voices telling them I am finally leaving, then step out the door ready to begin my hunt.
My dear Derrick we will be together soon, and I will protet you from the AIs filthy ches...hands.

Shaking her head sadly Reila looks at her newest addition to Farsouls wondering why her sister shoved the girl her way. She worries for a second thinking about all of the ice scupltures the girl made of the Derrick boy and shivers.
Changing to follow said boy she whispers while watching him floating through the woods towards a cave.
"I'm so sorry....I will try what I can to get my sister to help you you poor child."
The LCD moniters flickers off as she leaves to go find her younger sister in hopes of preventing or at least stalling that boy's despair. If nothing else she hopes to convince her to give him a boon to protect him.

Winter Fire [ Book 1 ] ✔
On the second jump, Claire's bad leg gave way and she felt herself tumbling forward. A cry of surprise escaped her and Claire was certain she was about to topple off the side of the train. Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown. "You could have fallen," he said pointedly."I know," Claire breathed, finding her thoughts drifting to the strong arm wrapped around her waist. A flush rose to her cheeks and she was grateful for the biting wind that masked her reaction. "Thank you.""You need to be more careful," he continued, his eyes locked on hers, bright and haunting in the silver glow of the moon overhead."I will," Claire assured him, her heart skipping in her chest. "I promise."------1st Place in the Chaos Awards2nd Place in the Mystic Awards2nd Place in the Stella Luna Awards2nd Place in the Talent Awards 2018Highest Ranking #1 In SteampunkFound on the official Wattpad Fantasy account featured reading list "Wintery Worlds"
