《Aurelia Online》Chapter 5 - Seeing Lemmy

Leaving the comfort of my pod, I stretched out and looked at the clock which told me I had been in the pod for a little over 8 hours.
I sighed and went to grab a bite to eat then thought about what I could do to pass the time. I assumed Nik and Hana were ingame right now so a jog seemed best.
Grabbing my running shoes I made my way out of the apartment and to the elevator meeting a few of my neighbors on the way. As I walked out of the building and began my jog I thought about how different the feeling between the game’s atmosphere and real life’s atmosphere were. There it was varied and had multiple planets each of varying civilization levels while here we were stuck on Earth with no progress on space travel since most people figured VR was a good enough substitute.
In fact technology had really stagnated in all fields except VR because of the fact that according to Nikolas, most companies including his father’s were paying hefty sums to research digitization of human consciouses as an alternative to finding new worlds to put the large amounts of population. While they couldn’t yet, I was more than willing to do it if Nik agreed to do it too, while Hana would do it anyway if I did so I didn’t really worry about leaving her behind.
Finishing up these thoughts I saw my apartment building coming up again and saw almost an hour had passed so I headed back and washed before jumping into my pod again.

Welcome Back Nortaz
As I opened my eyes I saw the iron door in front of me again and thought about what boss could be behind it. All I could think of were either a Foreman spirit or some form of abandoned mining machinery which would be a bit harder to deal with than another spirit. Hoping it was the former I slowly opened the door then cursed my (supposedly good) luck.

It was a humanoid machine with two drills on its arms and wheels where its feet would be that rose about the height of 3 average humans and a dwarf. What made it worse was the fact it seemed that because of the influence of the spirits in the mine, the drills where its hands should have been had become shadow metal which means if it hit me I was going to get hurt big time. So my only tactic for now was to scan it and see how bad I would get it.
Name:Lemmy Race: Golem Class: Driller Golem Lvl: 10 Lemmy used to be one of the most relied upon golems in the old mine back before its closing yet she has fallen into disrepair over the years. Thanks to the despairing spirits passing through her on their way to work she eventually gained the shadow attribute and now guards the larger ore veins against the spirits. Caution should be observed as while she is a golem, just like a disowned heiress her cold body has become filled with resentment about her abandonment
After reading about “her” past I kind of felt sorry for the golem, yet it didn’t change the fact that I would be no match for her in my current state even with her in disrepair. Concluding that I decided to come back once I had actual equipment to use as I was not dying like I did back when I started gaming in World of Witchcraft: Apocogeddgionism 13 when I tackled a Orcish Wyvern (yes the child of a orc and wyvern, though the sex must have been awkward as heck) with a copper dagger and a pair of black leather pants.
Slowly closing the door I decided to leave the mine and see if I could find some civilization or at least a camp so I could ask about finding a blacksmith and a church or altar as I was needed to see about having a dagger made and learning about my deity, Nerosia, as Zenid Corp hadn’t informed us that we would be assigned to certain deities without being given a choice.

As such I decided to head west on a whim as I figured I would run into someone eventually. I just hope they are friendly or at least don’t attack me on sight.

A.N. I need deity names and what they represent. Already have creation, sky, nature, war, death, undeath/rot, knowledge/wisdom deities.
