Issac puffs his cigarette as he waits for the forensic team, after a few moments the team arrives and they set up a crime scene. The photographs of all the small details are taken and the evidence is collected. Issac oversees the operations and waits for Anna. The elevator dings and Anna arrives at the floor. Issac looks at her coming towards him, he drops his cigarette and puts it out with his right foot.

Anna looks exhausted and sleepy, of course it was late night and Issac had awoken her from her sleep. Issac greets her and tells her everything that happened there and they both start analyzing the evidence. Issac starts looking around the room and asks Anna to go through the collected evidence. He looks at muddy footprints that are scattered throughout the room. He traces them back to the hallway and to the 6th floor stairs. Midway to the 6th floor the boot prints just disappear. It all looks strange. It’s as if the killer just appeared on the stairs out of nowhere and then went to the victim’s room.

Of course Issac knew the story of what happened after. He concludes by saying to himself, “Yup, I’m not crazy at all, he came here the same way he escaped, by whatever the fuck it was. Magic? No I don’t think so, something strange is going on.” He goes back to the room and sees Anna looking at the evidence.

Anna calls Issac and points out the same thing again, the watch’s second hand twitching back and forth, as Anna is telling this to Issac he asks Anna a strange question, “Anna, where is your watch?” Anna’s heart starts beating rapidly and the color of her face changes, but before she could respond he says, “How stupid of me, I called you here on such a short notice, you must have forgotten. Sorry to get carried away like this!” Anna gives him a nervous smile and replies, “It’s fine, I mean the things you just went through, it’s normal to be losing focus.”

A forensic team member tells Issac that it’s the same boot print and mud that were found at the abandoned factory. “So it’s the same killer or killers, I’m not sure yet, but soon it will be clear to us.” he says to Anna. When they both are done there Issac and Anna head to the second crime scene. Arriving at the crime scene Issac meets up with Jeff as Anna starts looking for clues in the alley. She calls Issac and points out the boot prints and the mud. The pattern and the mud are the same ones that they found at the apartment.

Issac is completely baffled by this and says, “How…How… How can someone....well of course, it’s going to sound crazy but I think the killer can teleport somehow, it’s not magic, it’s teleportation!” Jeff listens to this and starts to laugh at him, “Really man, I think you need some sleep Issac, you sure the killer didn’t hit your head with something!”

Issac looks at Jeff with anger and replies, “Stop being an asshole Jeff, whatever I told is true, I don’t care if you don’t believe it!” Judging the seriousness in his voice Jeff stops laughing and says, “Alright man, let’s say the killer can teleport. How do you catch him then?” Issac starts scratching his chin and says, “I know how, we’ll discuss this later. For now we know that it’s the same killer, we kinda know how he kills his victims and maybe he teleports. I also have a feeling that he is on a time limit.”

Hearing this Anna starts getting nervous and asks, “Why do you think he is on a time limit?” he answers, “The first 2 murders he left very small clues, he was a mystery, he was too careful. But now he left a ton of evidence, not to mention me catching him in the act would have seriously hurt his feelings. He will make even more mistakes now, you know haste makes waste! It’s just a matter of time before we have him behind bars.”

Anna is impressed by his deduction and seeing her surprised Issac replies, “Well, you wanted to learn from the best, so here is how you analyze things and get to a crucial conclusion!” Anna writes something on her notepad and smiles at Issac. The body and all the evidence is collected and Jeff heads back to the headquarters; while Issac and Anna sit in the car. Issac starts driving the car, he is en route to Anna’s apartment building, suddenly Anna asks Issac, “So how are we going to catch him?” and he answers, “Don’t worry about it, leave it to me, I think you should just relax for now.”

Issac stops the car near her apartment building and Anna gets out of the car. Dropping her off Issac drives back to his office and calls Jeff. “Alright Jeff, I want you to listen carefully. I need you to spread a rumor inside the headquarters, that we know the location of the last scientist. There is an abandoned warehouse, I’ll send you the address. Now, I want you to set up a two-way mirror in a room inside the warehouse and get me some shock rounds as well, set up cameras in and around the warehouse. Also set all the surveillance equipment in the room behind the mirror.”

Jeff writes everything requested by him and replies, “It’ll take time to get the equipment and set it, could take a whole day even.” Issac says to him, “I know, take your time, but I promise you if this plan goes my way, we’ll have this guy in no time!”

Anna takes a shower and wears new clothes, she starts eating her chow mien and while eating it she starts feeling uncomfortable. “Today was not a good day at all, he is a damn fine detective, almost had me today!” she then touches her wrist watch and sees the “2 days left” written in red. She finishes the chow mien and sighs, “Alright, I have two days and just one scientist left, should be easy enough!” she uses her watch and enters the details of the last scientist, she also enters the chronoton age of the last scientist which she found out from the scientist she killed.

The watch shows her a “searching” progress bar and the time to complete the scan is 1 day 3 hours. She smiles at this and says, “Thank you Jeff for finding the other 2, it saved my time and now just one is left” saying this Anna looks at the photos of her family projected in the hologram, she sees Reed in the photo and says, “Why are you doing all this? I can’t believe it’s you Reed, how could my brother be such a monster?”
