《Watson&Holmes》Case2 Two diamonds - ch22

Watson, who jumped off as soon as he received a signal from Sherlock Holmes when he got to the bathroom, met the woman he remembered, Irene Adler, who had used the toilet as a base. She reached to pick up a large bag from the ceiling that could slide open into a hole. When she saw Watson coming, she immediately drew a gun and fired at him in an elegant motion.
Bang!!!
But Watson managed to avoid the bullet and approached Irene from behind. Being caught by an arm of iron pliers, Irene lost the right to escape. It was because the stuff she had just brought down had so much weight that it slowed down her movement. Watson snatched the bag and pulled her out to the Holmes.
The situation was something Watson didn't want to happen.
"See you again. John H. Watson"
Watson stared at the Boss, golden hair woman, long hair man, as well as other subordinates of the kidnapping gang who had arrested him. Now Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes include Behrouz, are in their control. At the same time, he caught Irene Adler with a bag presumed to be the treasure the kidnappers want. The current situation was different from what Sherlock Holmes had planned. But it still does not make them disadvantageous.
Before entering the house, what Watson whispered in Holmes's ear was ...
'Holmes. There were at least ten people around the house watching us.'
'The gang kidnapped, right? We arrive here, either retreat or continue. It can't avoid the collision. Listen, Watson, if something happens ...'
But what was wrong was Irene Adler realized that the treasure had been hidden in the bathroom ceiling and first snatched the treasure. The question is ... how does she know?
"Looks like you've taken a step ahead of me this time," Sherlock Holmes said to Irene.

"How I know where the treasure hid is because of your skill. Mr. Holmes" said Irene humbly with a dazzling smile.
"While you guess the names of the places in the house, you keep an eye out for the reaction of his rolling eyes. I know as well as you know. Finally, when you threaten to burn the house. In the blink of an eye, this guy instinctively turned towards the bathroom. The concern of the treasure shows the hid place. I only stole the benefits first."
Sherlock Holmes stared at the woman in front of him. To the words, she will show that she gave him credit, but the fact that she peeks outside only listens, yet can know the location until cut in shows that she is upper than him.
Bang!!!
In the blink of an eye, everyone heard the gunshot sound. Behrouz Zakaria's body fell to the ground without getting up again. The whole room fell into silence, the sound of guns blowing the atmosphere into one person.
"Is it time to talk to each other?" Said the Boss to Sherlock Holmes, locked in arms by two of his men and put a gun to his head. With just one command, Sherlock would go down in the blood, just like Behrouz.
"Know your place."
"Of course I knew too well, I am a hostage for you to threaten Watson," said Holmes. He had already told Watson a plan.
‘Listen, Watson, if things happen. They would take Mycroft and me hostage. You don't have to care about me and get the treasure. If possible, take the boss or someone you think is important for the gang to negotiate.’
"Your plan is to take the treasure and one of my subordinates as hostages. When finished exchanging, then dispersed? You can take it like that. If you guys open the bag, let us see if it's worth the exchange," said the Boss, nodding towards the bag in Watson's hand. Even though it looks heavy, it might just be a metal bar inside.

"Don't act like you have a right to negotiate. The one that had to begged to exchange then dispersed is you." Sherlock Holmes reversed the Boss's words.
"Even if Watson killed Miss Adler in front of you. You will not order to kill Mycroft or me. Because if you do that, you won't have a hostage. And all of you will be killed by Watson here."
"Hah, don't act like people who don't regret life and ready to die," Boss said.
"I said because I believe Watson would reach you faster than you could open your mouth to order subordinates to pull the trigger," Sherlock Holmes stared at the Boss.
"Don't underestimate my partner."
The second moment seemed as if several minutes had passed. Finally, the Boss raised his hand to order his subordinates. Then turned to speak to Watson.
"Deal. We exchange then disperse, do it in the corridor. You're in the bedroom."
At a distance between the kitchen and the bedroom, there is a straight 3-meter-long corridor. Watson locked Irene and holding a treasure on the bedroom side. The Boss takes Sherlock, and Mycroft Holmes stands at the end of the kitchen corridor.
"Cheryl, you brought this guy out for treasure," said the Boss, pushing Mycroft forward.
"Let the woman stop waiting in the middle. If Mycroft Holmes reaches two-thirds of the corridor, I will hand over this bag," Watson said.
Mycroft turned to look at Sherlock's eyes once. Then stepped straight into the bedroom with the golden-haired woman. Halfway through, Cheryl stopped while Mycroft took another step. When Mycroft took three steps forward. Watson then squatted down a bit, pushing the bag to move towards Cheryl. Mycroft came to stand safely behind Watson. Cheryl carried the bag back to her group. The first round of the hostage exchange ended well.

Re:The Worst System Leveling Turned Me Into A Zombie
Before I reached Lvl. 100, they called me Death God Hei. But when I broke the limit, the System punished me. It cursed me to become this monster. I woke up as a Lvl. 0 again. Dying only brings me back to a save point now. But I don't go back until I die twice. First I suffer as a human, then I hunger as a zombie. The worst part is...I still have to watch when that thing takes over my corpse. I call it the Gray. I can't do anything even when it's hunting down those I'm trying to save. Sometimes, I wonder. When I level, I swear I can hear a voice speaking to me. This thing...can it think? It's like Re:zero crossed with SAO, Solo Leveling, and Tokyo Ghoul Re:The Worst System is a dark, 1st person timeloop story where the main character is slowly driven insane by his ability to respawn at a save point. However, each time he levels, there's a possibility that the next time he dies, the zombie inside him will become too powerful for anyone to stop. So he has to level up a harem...ahem, others, to fight for him against the System. Oftentimes, Hei will get trapped in repeating death loops which are truly terrifying. You've been warned...please don't read if you're not willing to see the darkness all the way through. The light on the other side may be a long ways away...I'll be trying to post on Thurs/Sundays, but honestly, depending on how I'm feeling, chapters could come out at some wonky times. The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
