Inside the carriage that galloped until it was shaken violently. Watson, his eyes and mouth tied, all his entire body chained, curled up still on the carriage floor. It has been 47 minutes since he was forced into a carriage by a group of men.
………………………………………………………
1 hour before the hotel, a party ...
Separated from Holmes, Watson watches the people passing through the banquet hall door. He stood still in the same position, thinking it was 30 minutes until the end of the hour Holmes had appointed him. It was then that he noticed the strange movements of the party guests. Watson felt a malicious eye. There were many men slowly moving towards him. How they walk not different from regular guests walk around party is considered these men is skilled enough. Watson calmly observed the situation. Recall Holmes's words about the Truth Watcher intended to hit him tonight.
Are these men work for The Truth Watcher?
"Hello, shall we go outside to talk a bit?" A long-haired man walked over and stood beside Watson. Talking with a smiling face.
"If five people over there come with you, let them talk at once," Watson said in a cold voice.
The long-haired man changed his expression for a flash. Then politely leading Watson out into the alley behind the hotel. He and the five others carefully surrounded Watson.
Watson stood in the silence of the night. He could sense that apart from the six people in front of him, ะhere were still ten other people watching nearby. No matter who they belong to, he thought this group of people were unusually cautious. Even having to gather nearly twenty people just to surround him alone.
"What do you want from me?" Watson asked.
"You."
The long-haired man spoke like a signal. And a thousand electric nets were thrown down at Watson. As soon as Watson catches the net, pulling it away. The high-voltage electric current that was directly connected by the generator rushed towards his body.

"gulp..."
Watson frowned. The violence even shocked the normal human to dead being through his body. Surprisingly, this group of people chose to use this kind of tricky method to catch him. As if ... already knew that even ten people would not be able to fight him.
The long-haired man and the others were taken aback, stunned, looking at Watson like seeing a ghost. The electric nets they use are so strong they can knock a bear or a large animal. But why is the silver-haired man in front of him just pausing a bit and standing up straight, as if not aware of the electric current flowing into his body?
"Wha what kind of monster are you?!?!" A long-haired man pointed at Watson's face.
‘'Never forget it, William. This target is very special. No matter many men or guns or anesthesia, all is useless. From the information, the target used to be shot in the chest but was able to fight. Even though he got hit by a special poison, he still alive. Remember, if you're careless ... those who die are you.'
That is the target's information they have been given. Even if William didn't believe there would be a human still fine after got shot or poisoned. But he took the precautionary principle and chose to use a high voltage net when catching dangerous animals. He never thinks THIS FAR and still cannot kidnap the target.
"Who are you guys?" Watson said, using his bare hands to pull the electric net from him. "If you don't answer, I will return this."
Same time as the words, Watson threw an electric net towards William's companions. Two men who couldn't escape their arms caught in the net, shouting and fall in the blink of an eye. William and the rest of the three had their faces turned white.

"Answer the question," Watson said in a cold voice. One step forward
"Sherlock Holmes is with us !!!"
William hid the fear, shouting. It works. Watson stopped and stood still.
"If you don't want that man to get hurt, give up."
Watson stared at William and the three others' eyes. Green eyes focused as if to find traces of lies in those words.
"You lie."
Watson made a harsh voice. He wants to believe Holmes is still in the basement. Since Watson was waiting at the exit door if Holmes were to go anywhere, he had to pass through him first. But Watson doesn't know if there are other exits below as Holmes said, if these men were kidnappers, it possible to be the same group as the one who held the auction.
As long as he did not see Holmes's safety with his own eyes, Watson couldn't be sure.
"Will you dare take a risk?" William said and waved his hand once a sign. The surrounding ambush allies, who just swung their net at Watson just a moment ago, threw iron chains for locking hands and feet.
Clank!
The sound of heavy iron chains hit the ground.
"Put it on. You have no right to refuse or negotiate. If showing even a little suspicious, our men will kill your friends."
Watson looked at the chain and took a split second to make a decision ... He lowered himself and took the chain to lock his arms and legs. Watson would never risk Holmes's safety. Moreover, this chain didn't count as an obstacle to him. When he has completed his own, William narrowed his eyes and wrapped a larger chain around Watson's body, locked tightly. Then he grabbed Watson's leg and wrapped another chain around.
"Are you guys scared of me until you have to do this far?" Asked Watson.
"Dare to ask. I still doubt you're human or not," said William and then managed to close his eyes and tie Watson's mouth. Before having his men lift Watson into the carriage.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
