Isaac and Mason looked at the two kids lying on the bed.
Mason asked Isaac, “when are the other two going to come?”
“They will come soon. It might take them about three days.”
“Then what is the point of starting it early when the other two haven’t arrived yet.” Mason was puzzled by Isaac's decision.
“I wanted to see how these two kids could deal with this situation.” As Isaac said that he pulled up a screen showing a whole different location than where Alvis and Charlotte are going to be located. “And the other two have plenty of experience compared to these two.”

Alvis slowly opened his eyes.
“Where am I?”
He started to look around his surroundings.
In his view he sees himself on a bed…but his body is not his original body. It is more like a teenager's body that is around seventeen years old.
(Status)
Nothing happened
“Status!”
Nothing happened again.
(What is going on?)
The current place Alvis is in is a camp with people sleeping. There are some with wounds.
(Is this a military camp?)
Alvis got up and went outside the camp. It is currently midnight where the moon is at the center of sky.. At the same time he saw a teenage girl around seventeen years old also.
They both made eye contact as if to confirm something.
“A-alvis?” The other side has started the conversation.
“Charlotte?”
Both of them sigh in relief as they are able to confirm each other's identity. And also feel relieved that they weren’t separated.
“Alvis, do you know where we are?” Charlotte asked confusingly while looking around.
“It looks like we are in a military camp. By the way Charlotte can you access your status?”

“No, I tried accessing it but it didn’t work. Even my magic ability won’t work, but I can feel mana inside my body.”
(Then does that mean 500 years ago there was never a system, and the world is only starting to mutate toward mana development?)
Because of the fact that this current body mana felt different from the Alvis original body. Unlike before where the whole body absorbs mana, this body from 500 years ago wasn’t absorbing any.
Alvis decided to try the burst mana control now, to see if he could use it to absorb mana.
After a few seconds…
(It worked! Looks in this era technique is important for mana absorption)
Suddenly…
“ENEMY ATTACK PREPARE FOR COMBAT!!”
Large bell rang and woke the entire people.
Soldiers walk out the camp with their weapon and armor ready.
And then another person who walked out the camp was caught, who looked like the leader of this military camp.
“Where is the enemy coming from?”
“Sir Noah, It's coming from the east!”
“What does the enemy count? And how far away are they”
“Around 100 units and 3 miles away from us”
“These motherfuckers are just toying with us!” Noah complained loudly. “All units prepare for small-scale combat! Archer’s in the back ready to fire anytime, warriors move to the front!”
Alvis and Charlotte locked eyes with each other and confirmed each other’s thoughts, both of them grabbed a weapon and moved to the front.
Alvis saw Charlotte grabbing a spear. He was surprised by it.
(Did she know how to use a spear?)
After ten minute the enemy was in sight.
It was a bunch of humans riding on the horse, but something seems different.
(The human and the horses eyes are all red.)

“Alvis, is it just me that the human and horse eyes are red.” Charlotte asked while trying to look afar.
“Nope, not just you.”
“Are they infected by something?”
As the enemy gets closer to the military camp. Noah shouted, “Archers ready!”
“3”
“2”
“1”
“FIRE!”
Lots of arrows flew up in the air and then started to rain down arrows.
The arrows have hit most of the red eye soldiers. Noah then shouted, “Warrior clean up! After that, prepare for the next incoming attack. These bastards won’t give us any sleep tonight!.
