“For you to have the image to make your sword come alive, you have to experience it.” Michael then continued, “By experiencing it, then you would be able to have a clear image.”

“To give an example of my experience, it was when we were chasing after some bandits. We stumbled upon their base which was a giant lake. We didn’t know where the bandits were, and the lake was so quiet that it gave me fear.”

“After that incident was over, I continued to visit that lake to experience and to gain a better understanding.”

“However, you don’t have to be like me. Some purposely mimic a tiger to understand that tiger and to create that tiger in their swords. Whether it is the wild aura that comes from the tiger or the suffocating pressure coming from. Understand it and mimic it.”

“I have also met someone who also has a lake as an aura spirit, but it was different from mine which brings fears from the quietness of the lake. Their lake was smooth, every time they moved it was so smooth that everything around it began to quiet down, bringing the image of a lake up.”

Alvis was able to quickly grasp the idea of Aura Spirit. So a weapon can bring a different type of spirit image. While those spirit images that you have learned can also be different than those who have the same spirit image as yours.

“Yes, however it must connect to you personally or what you experience. Or else you won’t be able to learn the Aura Spirit. Or even if you learned it, it's gonna be weak.”

“Let's say for example I was burned by a fire, can I choose fire as my spirit image?”

“Yes”

“So how is that different if someone have fire magic ability?”

“One of the big differences is in the number of uses.”

“Amount of uses?”

“Yes, for the fire magic ability, what happens if you run out of mana?”

“You will be unable to use your magic ability.”

“Exactly, Aura Spirit does not rely on mana. Aura Spirit relies on your heart and mind, and if you can maintain a strong heart and mind. It has unlimited uses.”

Michael then remembered another key difference, “There is another difference between those two. For magic ability, the ability you cast is most directly affects the physical of your opponent. Of course, that is excluding if someone's magic ability can affect someone's mental state. While Aura Spirit comes from the state of your heart and mind, it can be used to attack the mental state of the opponent, and also the physical state of your opponent.”

To Alvis this Aura Spirit is already incredible, not only does it brings physical damage but also psychological damage. Maybe one day that he will face someone who has an absolute defense, he can use Aura Spirit as an advantage to beat his enemy.

Alvis has decided to put Aura Spirit as a top priority in his plan. Even if Alvis couldn’t find a way to increase his magic power stats, he can use Aura Spirit as a substitute.

“How common is Aura Spirit amongst the human population?” Alvis asked this because he worried that a lot of people know how to use Aura Spirit making it easy for them to counter him.

Michael thought about it and decided to tell Alvis, “It quite rare these days, and according to what I know Aura Spirit already existed before magic ability. However, after magic ability appear people began to move toward it as gaining power is a lot easier than Aura Spirit.”

“That is all I can teach you, the rest is up to you.”

Honestly, it makes sense that this lesson will be short because Aura Spirit is dependent on the person.

Just as Michael is about to leave. Alvis spoke up, “C-can I look at your Aura Spirit again?”

Michael then looked back at Alvis silently and then, “Sure, why not. But we will have to move to the outskirt of the Isbert resident and the training area, as it could get quite destructive.”

After that, the duo left the area they were in.

After leaving the Isbert resident and the training area they walked quite a long distance to prevent any damage.

The surrounding of Michael and Alvis is flat land. With roads that are quite far away from them.

Michael then stopped walking, and so did Alvis.

“Watch carefully.” As Michael said that he began to pull out his spear.

As each millisecond passed, the spear and the aura around Michael began to change. A lake started to appear around Michael and his spear.

To Alvis, the atmosphere is so quiet, but it was filled with fear. It was as if anything could appear to kill you.

Michael's spear which was pointing at the ground, quickly slash upward. An invisible aura blade appears and then fly out in the distance.

After that, the ground was split apart showing its destructive power.

Alvis who was experiencing it up close was scared by its power.
