《I'm not evil, trust》Chapter 9

Around six p.m. Evie walked up my driveway in her training garb. Sweat was dripping off her body like she took out her anger for me on something or someone.
I combed my wet strands aside as I followed her inside and up to a guest room. She turned on the walk in shower before turning to me.
"I only have an hour then I have a gate guard shift tonight." She tugged at her training bra that was more than a little sticky from sweat.
I wrapped my hands around her waist and lifted her straight up against the glass door. Her heels quickly dug into my thighs as her hands grabbed a handful of my long black and brown hair.
Her lips were more hungry for mine than I was for hers. However, I had to half focus on the tendril of liquid that slid my pants down and cut her shorts off. Then it guided me inside her and I stepped back upon getting a better grip. A bit of self grunting to get the momentum going, I slammed her down with the pure intentions to show her who was boss.
Of course this tiger would never let me win in physical alterations if she could help it. Yet, I expect it of her and already let go of her legs the moment she started moving. She hit the tile floor and stumbled backwards. I helped her walk into the shower and closed the door. Pushing her pretty face into the glass door that was just a bit foggy. My forearm rested on the side of her face, while my other arm wrapped around her stomach. Then I really put the phrase, 'pound that pussy' into play.
Her growls of frustration let me know she really didn't like being manhandled. But it simmered down into mewling as my electrotherapy went to work with a little bit of water tendrils at work.
I had plans to take her to the guest bed but this nagging sensation pulled me away. I shadow stepped out of the bathroom to my armory. Grabbed an all black halberd and slipped into some pants.
The moment I stepped out of the shadows near the power plant, I spotted Remy and his group of mages.
"It's a rift to some other world. I can't tell more as this is my first time seeing cross-world teleportation." Remy explained the second I walked up.
I sniffed and frowned, "some kind of beast."
Remy frowned as he started a safe retreat behind a line of barriers made of concrete and steel.
"Are you going to face whatever beast in your jogging pants?"
I did a sort of battle transformation where black scales cover my entire body like a full plated armor. Wings and a tail also grew out my back and scrotum.
The rift expanded rapidly all of sudden and the first thing to step out had its leg taken off at the joint. I don't know if it just fell forward but my halberd wrapped in red flames, cut through its thick neck right after.
I looked at Remy who stared at the creature like he was utterly shocked. Dinosaurs. Not really unexpected but not welcomed.
For ten minutes nothing else tried to crawl through until the pack showed up in modified hummers. They got out and circled around the barriers, rifles aimed at the rift.
"I think you stopped up the rift." Remy said with a chuckle as he took a step from behind his shelter.
Yet, at that very precise moment, a huge body was thrown through the rift and crashed into the barriers. Right after, several car size raptors rushed out. Followed by several more waves.

My lips curl into a salty grin as I dance among the stupid pests. My halberd easily cuts through limbs or blocks their mighty claws and teeth. I heard the guns rattled off and the sound of hard flesh being hit but only a few went down to gunfire. While more were trampled after having their legs cut off by me.
I think Jake was the first to do a half beast shift and come fight close combat. I dropped my scales half way through the battle for more speed and switched out my halberd for scimitar. The raptors felt endless and the ground was slicked with blood as my tail and wings helped me battered or kill these dumb creatures.
"Mr. Winters, I think you have more incoming. The rift expanded and I can see a flaming bird circling above." Remy's voice almost made me puke.
There were already more than eighteen shifters on the field while the rest provided support with more powerful rifles. We had one squad acting as a supply line with providing medical and ammo support, yet there was no end to this.
I was literally stepping on corpses or raptors bleeding out. I had numerous cuts and scrapes on my wings and legs. If this was the only force, then this wouldn't be a problem.
Shifting fully wouldn't necessarily help as my form was too big and would hinder my own teammates.
The orange sky reminded me of how tired I was of swinging my sword but it was only mental fatigue. My body was still brimming with energy since I didn't need to use chi like the rest who were switching out every four hours to eat and rest.
Feeling massively annoyed by the sun rising and the endless wave, I shot up and fully transformed. Showcasing my beauty as I released a torrent of flames that plug up the rift and much of the area in front.
A terrifying screech rang out like the end of school bell. I caught such a dumb animal flying straight towards me as I closed my mouth and grabbed the fool with one hand. I gave it no time to understand anything as my rather large mouth snapped up flesh from its neck.
I chewed twice and swallowed it and I had to admit, great flavor. I finished off the struggling beast and left it bones to fall to the earth. Those pretty white bones that could be put inside of a museum.
That's what we should start next. A bloody museum.
I landed and prowled in front of the rift but nothing else came out. Even though the rift didn't close and we could see the open plain in front. It was day time and I was more than ready to take a deep sleep.
"Remy, can you stop this from letting out anything but we can go in?"
"Of course, I also wanted to explore such a new world." Remy turned to his people who started bringing shit over through portals. Follow by one of the fastest fucking portal arches every. Well, it took them nearly two hours but it was fast to me who was already leaning heavily towards the ground.
I flew up and landed in the shadow of the silo for a long nap, not even bothering to unshift.

Because of the shift of the sun, I ended up awake and hungry. I roasted a few raptors on my Claws and ate their bodies whole. Tasted just like chicken.
Jade looked at me like she wanted to try some but when I offered a raptor to her she held up her hands and backed away.

So I pigged out and then shifted back. At the same time, I caught the smell of a particular person who should not have been anywhere this far into my domain.
"Who let the fed in?" I asked while stretching.
Jade pointed at Zach and Jake who were hanging around the skinny woman, laughing at some of her jokes.
"Zach, Jake! Front and center!" I barked out and snatched a shirt out the shadows.
They walked over with haste but still had smiles on their faces.
Yes, boss?" They both said at the same time.
"Sitrep."
"Remy stabilized the portal around 0800. We did a few test runs and we are able to go in and out. Remy colleagues also said that the world mana level was 36 percent higher than our own and that the world is safe for humans to breathe in." Zach nonchalantly reported.
"Did he send any of his boys in to do more than basic habitat tests?"
"No, I didn't. We are just old timers who specialize in building, research, and leeching off you. If you want one of us to go in to explore this world then that's a big ask. I suggest you hire some casters."
I turned to Evie as she walked over looking more than a bit sleepy. "What do you think?"
"We should recruit some mages that have combat ability. Large areas of attack spells are really useful."
Zach shook his head, "we would have to rear them plus they might grow big heads. It's best to invite outside help, do a split and send them packing after."
"I have to agree with evie. Rearing our own keeps all the resources in our hands. Whereas, outsiders will covet what we have and just ally with someone else after gaining an understanding of our weaknesses."
"Okay, I'll recruit some solo spellcasters. In the meantime, explain while the Director is here?"
Jake looked at Zach, who scratched his head. "I was sleeping with her when the portal thing happened. She made her way on over with the ammo group to assist with field aid."
Oh, okay. He likes them skinny, though I can't complain. I slept with a cougar and skinny no ass lass.
"Okay, thanks for her help. Now get her out of the combat zone. Also, who wants to go in first?"
I folded my arms and smirked. They each look around like someone would volunteer first.
Zach quickly jogged to the Director and carried her away to her protest.
"Okay, I am going to go check out the new world. Evie handled the recruitment of mages. The rest return to their natural schedule." I walked eagerly to the portal and not a single person stopped me.
Damn, did they really find me annoying?
***
The instant I passed through, I felt such a strong gravity slapped down on me. My chest might have struggled to breathe but my body felt thirsty. I could feel the mana surging throughout my body as my chi worked overtime on converting it. I would definitely progress faster here by at least thirty percent.
I shifted quickly and flew up. My angle was to observe if this was an island or large continent. Yet, halfway up I was slapped out the air by a large tail that was far larger than my entire body.
I quickly woke up and noticed that something was gnawing on my wings and tail. Plus some kind of a heavy creature was stomping through the forest which I just wrecked.
Flames washed over the freaking gnats as I stood up. The one good thing was that I knew this was a very large land. Yet, I was near the coast and on land was some kind of gigantic beast that bitch slapped me like an annoying fly buzzing about.
No wonder there weren't any birds nearby.
My tail greeted the weird spiky t-rex and knocked it ass over end. Yet, I didn't even split the leathery skin of the beast. Frowning, I stepped on its neck, I tried to put my claws through it but failed.
Ignoring its spams, I beat it with my tail until I split its skin. Yet, I think it died from internal injuries. According to the dark blood coming from its mouth and nose.
I had another method of trying to kill it but sometimes, you just had to vent when you got treated like a hoe by a pimp. Keeping it inside of you wasn't a smart move.
Black light appeared on my claw like an additional sharp edge. It made cutting the meat off the rex so much easier. I could just roast it directly while practicing my chi utilization skill.
It was many hours as the sun dropped in the sky before some prey came to deliver themselves to me. Well a pack of giant wolves that looked at the ribs of my meal. I just gave them a sharp tooth smile as I flipped over the body of my meal.
The wolves were a bunch of wussies but what can you expect of dogs? They turned and fled while I continued to eat.
*** short intermission ***
"Have we determined where these creatures are coming from?" The President asked while pacing around the command bunker.
"Yes sir. According to a branch Director in California, there are rifts opening in supernatural communities but the one she witnessed was easily taken care of by the community."
"Is someone summoning them? Is this something we can stop?"
"The leak outs come from the other regions and we believed that it is mage communities as some of them that we are monitoring have not shown up in society again. While others have fled with looks of fear on their face."
"What can we do to prevent this from happening?" The president asked as he leaned over his desk, his fingers spread out over papers filled with black text.
"Sir, we can deploy heavy weaponry into urban environments. Normal weapons are not impacting the bigger beasts. The other is to request supernatural entities to assist us."
The president rubbed his face, "deploy the army and recruit these people. Whether they like it or not. Just stay away from the stronger communities. I don't want a three way war in our backyard."
"Of course, sir."
** short intermission ended **
I walked through the portal feeling like I had dirt and blood cakes in my very cells. Only a few months of exploring the coastal area let me know what the meaning of there is better out there.
While I might be a top predator, there was also stronger prey that also had magical abilities that was no worse than mine. However, after eating these creatures, I had huge increases in my abilities but had to still work on my control. I also learned how to blend dark into my weaker elements to strengthen them from watching bears, raptors, those tri-horn dinosaurs do it.
It was like an, 'oh shit', moment.
The portal was lightly guarded and the two on shift greeted me with a nod while watching some show.
I headed home with a great big heart. I was definitely going to laid after such a long time sober. Roll in some pussy and maybe dream of more after I was exhausted.
Yet, walking into the residential area, I smelled an unfamiliar dragon. However, it wasn't a big thing unless they wanted to control what was mine.
Remy was sitting on my porch with a pipe in his mouth like he had been waiting on me. Did he think he was Gandalf?
"Welcome back." He glanced at me as I stood with my right foot on the steps up.
"What made you come all this way?"
"Not your stink but I wanted to let you know that we found out why the portal opened and I wanted to buy a barrel of your dragon wine."
"Why did they open?"
"Mana level." He said simply.
Which made me think about the leakage of mana from the immature mana power plant. So I guess when the local mana level reaches a certain extent, the rifts would open.
"Did it happen in other places?" I asked because he as a mage would talk and share knowledge with other mages. It wouldn't be surprising if he knew things the org didn't.
"Yes. A few powerful mages families were wiped out. The aftermath left several cities under the threat of death. The government even started conscripting evolvers on a large scale."
Oh, interesting.
"What about this dragon in my nest?" I asked the group who had shown up behind me.
"Miss Eleanor is actually a healer and we doubt you were so territorial that you would stop her and a few others from joining us." Evie as always was the first to put out. Just not in the way I expected.
"I'm not but I was curious if someone was attempting a coup. Anyway, feel free to come back in another day or two. I need a shower and some rest."
I vanished as Evie's lips started to move and sound began to seep out.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
