Wang Wei dashed towards where they were supposed to meet up. The meeting location is at the edge of the floating island of the Wang family where the Void ship was docked.

And as Wang Wei quickly approached he finally saw the Void ship, It looked eerily similar to the depictions of UFOs from his previous life, which leads him to believe that those UFO sightings were in fact real.

And that was especially unnerving considering that to be able to have that many Void ships flying around Earth must have been really close to an extremely powerful higher realm.

That in and of itself extremely intrigued Wang Wei, because all higher realms influence the lower realms that are closest to them, so that might actually mean that there are real Buddhas in that higher realm.

Surrounding the Void ship was a small group of a few dozen people, and at the forefront of that group was his father next to a couple of children that looked like they were 15 to 20 years old.

Wang Wei arrived in front of his father and immediately bowed deeply and in order to show the proper respect, he said "Wang Wei greets father Immortal Emperor!", while Wang Qian just smiled and told him to get up.

Then he went around and introduced himself to all of the geniuses of the Wang family that would be escorting him into the Inheritance realm.

"Wang Mei greets cousin crown prince!" said a perky girl while she was literally skipping up and down in excitement. Wang Mei is the daughter of Wang Wei's Uncle called Wang Shien who was a Deification realm cultivator, she was 15 years old and she was already at the Golden-Core realm.

Wang Mei is a genius among geniuses, she was born with a Heavenly Wind spirit root and she enjoyed all of the resources the Wang family had at their disposal.

Spiritual roots are divided into Mortal, Spiritual, Profund, Earth, Heaven, and Immortal ranks the same as weapons, except that each rank represents an almost guarantee to reach a specific cultivation realm.

So a Heaven ranked spiritual root would almost guarantee a person to reach the Deification realm while anything further than that would depend entirely on the person.

Also unlike the other members of the Wang family, she wasn't the least bit jealous of Wang Wei's status, because the status she enjoyed in the Wang family could even be compared to Wang Wie's.

They talked for a bit and got to know each other and the first thing Wang Wei noticed about this girl is her innocence and nativity, it was apparent that she was a young girl who barely knew anything about the world, and the law of the jungle that dwells within it.

Because of that Wang Wei immediately took a liking to her and they quickly became friends, after talking for a while they said goodbye and Wang Wei went to meet the second person of his escort team.

His name was Wang Long and he was a 12-year-old illegitimate child of a Wang family Nascent-Soul elder and a normal mortal woman and the only reason he was even recognized as a member of the Wang family was that he had an Earthly spiritual root and an extreme talent of comprehension.

It was said that he could memorize, comprehend and master a technique in mere months of learning about it, of course, Wang Wei still had a stronger comprehension ability than him but unfortunately, he didn't possess a spiritual root.

And even though he wasn't as good as Wang Mei cultivation-wise, being only a peak Qi-Condensation ranked cultivator, he could still fight and even defeat ordinary Golden-Core realm cultivator because of the many techniques he has mastered.

Wang Long looked at Wang Wei with a gaze of jealousy but he still bowed down to Wang Wei and said "Wang Long greets the crown prince!" while in his head he was cursing the heavens for their unfairness. He was also raging in his heart for having to follow this waste's orders.

But in the end, strength is all that matters in this world and Wang Wei's father was the only Immortal in the Celestial Wang Realm and no one could defy his orders, so he hid his pride and arrogance and still bowed his head in front of a waste.

Wang Wei tried to get to know Wang Long better, but the other side was extremely rude and he got the impression that Wang Long felt as if it wasn't even worth the effort to converse with him so he backed off as he had no intention to force someone to talk to him.

And the final member of his escort team was someone who was very similar to Wang Wei, his name was Wang Chao and he was the brother of Wang Mei.

He was also born without a spiritual root, but the difference between the two of them is that he was actually born with an inborn Heavenly physique the physique made him unable to cultivate Qi but it also made him have a supreme aptitude with physical cultivation, as a matter of fact, he was born in the Blood-Exchange realm.

Unfortunately, this higher realm lacked the necessary method for further physical cultivation and so his only hope was to go to the Inheritance realm to try his luck and try to obtain an appropriate cultivation technique.

And the reason he was allowed to be in his protection team is that even though he was a physical cultivator, his heavenly physique allowed him to fight above his own level. He is also able to fight or even kill an ordinary Golden-Core cultivator.

They quickly introduced themselves and found a kinship in the shared problem they both had, and after getting to know each other for some time it was already the time to board the Void ship and go to the Inheritance realm.

After getting inside the gigantic spaceship, Wang Wei noticed that it was actually transparent on the inside, displaying the surroundings perfectly, and at its center sat a throne that his father went ahead and quickly sat on.

As soon as his father sat down on the throne, a runic formation that was inscribed on it lit up and the Void ship quickly took to the skies.

The Void ship moved extremely quickly and before they knew it they were traveling above the clouds, Wang Wei looked down towards the Shengman continent getting smaller and smaller as they were flying higher.

After a few seconds of them flying higher and higher, they left the realm and he finally had the opportunity to see the entire world, it was extremely strange to see that the world they were previously on didn't look like a planet, it was, in fact, a gigantic plane encased in a dome with the sun and moon imprinted on it.

All higher realms carried their own uniqueness and looked completely distinct from one another, unlike the lower realms that only took the shape of planets.

For example, the Celestial Wang realm looked like a flat plane encased in a dome but another higher realm might just look like a giant planet.

And after a few more seconds of flying the gigantic plane strangely disappeared and what replaced it was a giant mass of black, even the light of other suns that were behind it disappeared.

What Wang Wei was currently looking at was in fact a phenomenon of the Great Dao that scientists from his previous life might call a black hole, but it is in fact a higher realm.

Because according to the Great Dao rules every time a lower realm was promoted a very violent phenomenon occurs where the sun of the lower realm collapses in on itself, and in the process, it swallows the entire solar system also know as the lower realm with it.

Finally, in the center of the collapsed star, a new higher realm will get conceived and Qi will be introduced into the new world as well as a new Heavenly Will being born.

Then the Heavenly Will creates a protective shield that gives it the black color with only Deification realm experts being able to penetrate it to enter or exit the realm.

But if a lower realm fails to promote to a higher realm, the collapsed star will explode creating the phenomenon Earth scientists called a supernova.

And the way the higher realm is maintained is by attracting and finally devouring the lower realms and asteroids around it.

Then the higher realm transforms that devoured matter into its own energy that is used to maintain its functions and generate its Qi, and that is the reason for the formations of galaxies.

All of this was described in the book left behind by the Dao-Ancestor of the Wang family and Wang Wei was truly shocked when he found out about it because the book finally explained to him why the lower realms were unaware of the existence of higher realms.

And what just happened was that they finally exited the protective barrier of the higher realm and truly entered the endless void.

They flew through the endless void for a couple of more minutes but in that time they passed by countless lower realms and that lead Wang Wei to finally realize just how small he truly was and his desire to reach Enlightenment was like a roaring fire within his heart before he controlled himself and suppressed his emotions.

But just as he was reminiscing about his role in the universe, his head suddenly felt as if it was about to explode and the very fabric of the void rippled, but before any permanent damage could be done to the Void ship his father disappeared from the throne.

Before reappearing outside in the endless void and gently stretching out his hand, as soon as the hand fully extended the void rippled. And in front of his father appeared a grotesque creature the size of an entire lower realm with its whole body being made out of tentacles, merely looking at the creature caused his eyes to burn and a splitting pain assaulted his head.

The finger on Wang Qian's hand just pointed ahead and in front of it appeared an enormous giant the size of two lower realms, it looked like the ancient god Pangu its eyes were made out of the water, its hair was made out of trees, and its body was made out of the earth itself.

The giant was holding in his hand a spear made out of the fire that looked like it was taken from a star and before any of them could react it thrust out its spear towards the creature.

The void itself cracked as space was torn asunder and the only thing the creature could do was twitch in pain as it died.

Wang Wei's father just waved his hand and the corpse was stored away in his spatial ring before he reappeared once again inside the Void ship.

The reason Wang Qian took the corpse was that each such corpse of a Void beast was extremely valuable and could even be used to craft a Heaven ranked artifact.

This was Wang Wei's first time seeing a battle between such powerful cultivators, before he could barely imagine people flying without the help of technology and now he saw cultivators capable of destroying an entire planet.

He was extremely shocked and terrified that such monsters could exist out there in the universe and his will was deeply shaken, but he was a Buddhist monk in his past life so instead of continuing to stare out into the universe with nothing to do.

He spent the remaining travel time stabilizing his will, making it even firmer than before, and meditating on the teachings of the Buddha.

To be exact he spent 20 hours in meditation before he was alerted by his father that they were arriving in front of the Inheritance Realm.

When Wang Wei looked around and with the advanced eyesight that he got by being a physical cultivator he was able to see that they were at the very edge of the galaxy that was formed around their higher realm.

He looked around and finally saw a gigantic gate the size of 10 lower realms stacked on top of each other floating in the endless void seemingly leading to nothing.
