Wang Wei walked into the grand celebration hall followed by his two maids, he looked like an average 15-year-old boy even though he was just turning 3 years old, because his physical body has been thoroughly tempered and elevated to the peak of this world, he was dressed in an ancient white Taoist dress as he strode confidently into the room.

"Wang Wei pays his respect to elders." Wang Wei said as his back arched into a bow, the people that were sitting in this room, even though their auras were suppressed, it was obvious by their looks alone that they were so far removed from ordinary people that it couldn't even be compared.

The people that were sitting in this room could all destroy mountains and flip seas, his father could even destroy Earth with a flip of his hand as Earth was as he found out only one of the impossibly many lower planes that exist below the higher realms.

And after saying that, all the cultivators got up one by one to greet him because even though he was just a mortal without the possibility to cultivate, he was still the son of an immortal and a member of the Celestial Wang Dynasty.

The cultivators that had the privilege of attending this banquet were all either very very powerful cultivators that were close to achieving immortality, the generals of the immortal army of the Celestial Wang Dynasty, or the members of the Wang family.

After Wang Wei sat down to eat, he noticed that a lot of the people attending the gathering were casting contemptuous glances at him, of course, that didn't bother him one bit, but he did feel a bit bad for being a burden on his father.

When his mother saw his downcast expression she laid a gentle hand on his shoulder, his mother Shen Hua was originally an ordinary person from a lower realm, that was taken in as a disciple by his father Wang Qian while he was traveling the lower realms because she was detected to have the Heavenly Nine Extremes Yin spiritual root that allowed a person to progress extremely rapidly during cultivation and even allowed them to comprehend the Primordial Dao of Yin and Yang during the later stages of cultivation.

When his mother was discovered and taken in as a disciple her cultivation progressed rapidly and in less than 20,000 years she achieved enlightenment in the Primordial Dao of Yin and Yang and planted the Dao seed in her Nascent soul to achieve the Deification realm.

When she became a Deification realm cultivator she and Wang Wei's father started courting each other. What was extremely strange was that when two superior beings had a child that child was almost guaranteed to be a heaven-defying genius, but despite all odds, they still had Wang Wei who was unfortunately born without spiritual roots.

After that, the banquet passed without any incidents and Wang Wei got to taste demonic beast meat of the Nirvana Pheonix at the Deification realm that his father personally hunted especially for his birthday celebration. After all the guests were escorted out and all the Wang family members left for their own compounds, the only people left in the banquet hall were his parents and his maids.

"Father I have something to say... I have succeeded in breaking through to the Blood-Exchange realm, and I would like to be finally allowed to leave this palace and explore the world!" Wang Wei said with an exceptant tone.

But Wang Qian's face wasn't that of pride that he expected, it was that of pure shock, and the reason for this shock was that if a child wanted to break through the Blood-Exchange realm at three years old they would have to have an unbreakable will to survive.

Even the first stage of physical cultivation, Skin-tempering was achieved by continually burning your skin until it was completely gone and then taking heavenly medicine to heal it stronger than before and to survive that torture for a child is practically impossible let alone all the other stages that become only more and more torturous.

But Wang Qian was an Immortal and has seen many things during his long life so he quickly recovered and said to the maids with a serious face "Leave.", the maids saw the seriousness in the room and quickly vacated the banquet hall.

After they left Wang Qian continued "Wei'er, the reason I gave you that ultimatum was not to keep you inside the palace forever, but in order to give me the opportunity to find a possibility for you to cultivate! You may not know this but our higher realm is just one of many and each and every one of them is unique and each of them have their own cultivation system, in fact, the physical cultivation you are currently cultivating was in fact left on this world by a passing Immortal!"

"So my plan was that while you were training protected in the palace I was preparing to leave this world to go to explore other higher realms to find a cultivation system that doesn't require a spiritual root, but the distance between higher realms is extremely large, and even an Immortal like me would take hundreds of years to reach one of them let alone return. And in order for your lifespan to hold out until I returned with a cultivation system capable enough to achieve immortality you had to cultivate in this torturous method. " Wang Qian finished with guilt apparent on his face because he forced his son to endure this torture.

Wang Wei had an expression of understanding on his face #So that is why father proposed such an Ultimatum.#, but before he could say anything, Wang Qian continued "But recently things have changed, in the void outside our world a secret realm has appeared and using divination methods we were able to find out that it was an inheritance site of a person that is suspected to be above the Immortal realm, the Dao-Ancestor realm!"

As soon as those words were spoken, a supreme pressure erupted all around them, Wang Wei's face changed, he felt as if all of his body and soul were being scanned and all of his secrets were seen through, while Wang Qian just swatted his hand and said "BEGONE!"

Then a fierce majesty erupted from his body completely offsetting and destroying all the pressure, it felt as if the very world roared in defiance but ultimately had to retreat.

And just like that all of the pressure disappeared, and Wang Qian waited for his son to come back to his senses before he continued to explain "The Dao-Ancestor realm is the peak of all know cultivation realms, the beings in this realm are so supremely powerful that a mere mention of the realm can cause the Heavenly Will to intervene, if I wasn't present to stop it, it would have killed both of you as only Immortals are allowed to even mention the name of the realm"

"As you are aware to become an Immortal you have to fully comprehend a Dao and make your Dao-seed within your soul germinate becoming a Dao-tree and branching out to your whole spirit, and by doing so evolving it into a Dao-Soul, as long as that Dao exists so does your Dao-Soul, thus becoming Immortal, and I have comprehended the Dao of the Five Elements, but what you might have not know is how to achieve the next stage."

"The Dao-Ancestor realm is achieved by completely merging you Dao-Soul and your Dao-Tree and thus completely becoming the Dao, everything within that Dao is within your control, for example, If I were to become a Dao-Ancestor all the Five Elements within all the higher and lower realms would be under my control."

"The only person who I know to have succeeded in becoming a Dao-Ancestor is the founder of the Celestial Wang Dynasty my great-grandfather but he has since disappeared and all information about him has been lost." Wang Qian paused and looked at Wang Wei's expression of pure wonder.

"But I have a sneaking suspicion that the secret realm that has been discovered just outside our Celestial Wang Dynasty should be the Inheritance realm belonging to the Dao-Ancestor of the Wang family that was specially prepared for his descendants. So I was prepared to enter that realm, but when I tried to enter I have discovered that if anyone that has started on the road of Dao comprehension tries to enter they would be prevented from doing so."

"After finding that out, I was extremely disappointed but I still planned to send the younger generation into the secret realm to test themselves and I thought that you wouldn't be able to become strong enough to survive it before the Inheritance realm closes in five years, but it appears that you achieving the Blood-Exchanging realm so quickly means that will have to change my plans because if there is anywhere that has a cultivation technique suitable for you it would be there."

"So I have decided that you will be taken to the secret realm along with an escort team of all the geniuses of the younger generation of the Wang family as protectors. So you should start training in martial arts techniques so that you have a better chance of passing the inheritance tests!" finished Wang Qian.

#Even if I don't use the cultivation technique of the inheritance I should still be able to use it for reference in creating my own# Wang Wei thought as he bowed deeply to his father and said "I accept this responsibility and I will be training day and night not to bring shame to the ancestors legacy!"

And after that Wang Qian called a Wang family elder named Wang Shin in the Deification realm to lead him to the Dao Scripture Pagoda that contains all the knowledge available to the Wang family, including millions of martial arts techniques.

As Wang Wei finally left the palace for the first time in this life, Elder Shin wrapped him up in his Qi and they took to the skies, this was the first time he has ever experienced flight, even in his previous life he has never been in a plane. He felt as if all of his worries were small compared to this giant world and his will became even more unbreakable.

Then he finally saw the entire palace, it was floating above the ground completely held up by arrays and you could see members of the Wang family flying to and from the floating palace, some were on giant flying birds while some were flying on their own power.

And as they moved further and further from the palace a giant pagoda came into view, it reached into the skies and disappeared behind the clouds, the gate of the pagoda alone was bigger than some hills, and to either side of the gate were two giant statues that looked as if they were alive.

When they finally came to the gate, Wang Shin said "Wang Shin greets the guardians of the Dao Scripture Pagoda!" while bowing.

The giant statues moved to block the entrance and suddenly a booming voice resounded in the heads of Wang Wein and Elder Shin "Present the entrance talisman!"

Wang Shin quickly took out a piece of paper with a weird symbol drawn on it which as soon as he took it out, it caught on fire and disappeared, and again the booming voice said "Enter" and the two statues moved out of the way.

As soon as he heard that Wang Wei didn't dare to mess around and he quickly passed through the gate, quickly followed by Elder Shin who said "Follow me I will take you to where the best martial art in the Dao Scripture Pagoda is located"

But Wang Wei didn't hear him at all as he was too stunned to even speak, the amount of knowledge he was in the presence of was stunning, and he knew that all those rogue cultivators that don't have any knowledge to rely on would kill to have access to this pagoda.

Suddenly he felt someone slap his back and Elder Shin's voice sounded out "Yes my reaction was the same when I first saw it but we need to hurry up, you only have five years until you have to enter the Inheritance realm!" and so they quickly flew up instead of taking the stairs and went to an obscure part of the pagoda that was protected with another two guardian statues.

When he entered that room the only thing he saw was a single book, resting on a pedestal in the middle of a giant hall and he heard Elder Shin say "This martial art is an original martial arts book of the traveling Immortal that left behind physical cultivation system in this realm, and it should be the most compatible with your cultivation."

Wang Wei quickly reached towards the book and started browsing...
