《Why I am me》0. Author's foreword and Prologue

Hello! If you are reading this book it means that either you are interested in my story or… you are not. I know, very smart. Ever since I had started to put my plans into action, I planned to do something like this, telling why I did the things I did but I am getting ahead of myself.
As of the first publication of this autobiography the author should be Petrió Mill, but as I am dead, now that this is public, it may have been edited to something to the form of “The Great Leader” or “Worst Scum on Earth”. The second option is more likely.
While I was alive, I was mostly known as a pretty bad guy and I was. I went around ordering the deaths of thousands, setting up a dictatorship and even eating my own dog. I did do all of these things, but they only tell part of the story, the one most people have heard and also the one that is repeated the most, but I intend to tell you all of it. Or at least the other half.
Before I even start, though, I ask you please to open your mind, try to leave previous thoughts of me behind to really understand what I went through, because I believe that if you do, you will at least understand why. You probably will not sympathize, but the deceased cannot be beggars.
Well unless in the future someone finally cracks a way to truly revive dead people, but in my case, I will stay dead, I made sure of it. Or maybe not, throughout my life I showed a few times that time can make even the wildest dreams possible.
If you are an older person, maybe you understand that life is a series of tough choices, because if they were not tough, they would not be choices – they would be answers. I, myself, believe that my own was particularly harder than most, but one has got to live with what one gets, and I believe I not only did the best for me but also for the people close to me.

You are probably thinking something on the lines of: “What a crazy dead bastard, saying crap like this when he killed tens of people and ordered the deaths of many more”, but I truly mean those words. And I also truly mean everything that is said throughout this book.
I will try to be as subjective as possible, but alas, I have only lived my own life and not the one of those around me, limiting the information that I can write. Then there is also the problem of analysis, when you read it you’ll probably understand a very different thing than someone of a different opinion, but I cannot worry about all those details nor do I intend to. I will write what I intend to write and you, as the reader, will have to see what to do with that information.
One last thing before I start telling you my story. I would like to thank everyone who was nice to me, such as my family and some close friends, with which I sometimes fought but always reunited and managed to build an amazing state. And to those who were the real scum of the land, I’d tell you to die, but I already made sure you didn’t exist before I left the world.
