《Dimensional Market System》(V)

A fun fact about schools in the demon world was that there was no separation between the rich and the poor. Students that were from rich families and students who were nearly living in the streets all shared the same classroom. That however didn't mean that there were no unwritten rules, one of them was that the poor shouldn't interact with the rich. Most of the time, if not always, interacting with demons from rich families could get you killed if you ever offend them.
Oreth was now standing in front of a very well-dressed, blue demon that had been completely covered in a green drink he was enjoying. Not only that but he had also called him bro, which might not seem like much on earth but in the demon world it meant what it meant. He had called the freakin rich kid his brother, meaning they were part of the same family which the demon would definitely find offensive.
'It just had to be Vernes, didn't it. One of the richest families in the whole damn city!'
In the Demon Continent being rich didn't simply mean you had money, it also meant that you had power, otherwise you wouldn't be able to keep your wealth. At least not when you're part of a waring race where power means everything.
'Fuck this if I'm going to die at least die with pride. Also, I might as well make sure I take that bastard with me.'
In the blink of an eye, Vernes had him raised by the collar of his uniform with one hand. With his other hand, he raised a small grey ball of light that appeared floating above his finger.
'So that's what the magic of the space attribute looks like. The old Oreth once heard a rumor that as soon as Vernes' attack hits you it would suck your body into it. Boy if this was a manga it would have only been a few pages long, staying alive is harder than I thought. Wonder if I'll be able to reincarnate again if I die.'

He made eye contact with the blue-haired demon and smiled," Vernes before you do the whole killing me thing could I say one last thing?"
Vernes looked at Oreth for a bit before nodding, "Can't really say it's going to change your situation but sure, why not?"
"Thanks, what I want to say is actually a question. Imagine that someone threw a stone at you, would you destroy the stone or the one who threw it? What fault does the rock who was simply laying on the ground have?"
Vernes smiled and then that smile turned into a laugh, "You know you actually have a point. Now if I remember correctly the one who threw said stone was Turgas was it not?
The blue-haired demon said the last part loud enough for the class to hear. Oreth saw how most of his classmates nodded eagerly ready to see what was going to happen next. Some were from wealthy families and were enjoying the scene, others were demons tormented by Turgas who had gotten carried away and thought that he was better than everyone else.
"Forgive me, I was just disciplining this good for nothing. I didn't mean to send him at you, I just punched him without thinking."
Oreth heard Turgas's tone, sadly the demon was behind him so he wasn't able to see anything. He tried straining his head to see what was going on, after all, if they were both going to die he might as well enjoy it. He had tons of memories where that demon made him suffer.
Vernes felt the movement of Oreth's head and he smiled, suddenly the demon released his color and he was finally able to move. When he turned around he found Vernes walking slowly to the shaking blond demon who was now no longer surrounded by his lackeys.

The blue demon showed a mischievous smile as he began walking circles around Turgas. "Oh, you are taking the responsibility of disciplining the weak. It's true that they should know their place, however, it's a shame that the one teaching them has yet to understand his place in life."
As soon as he had said that sentence Vernes released a grey slash that cut the legs of Turgas as if they were butter. The blonde demon dropped and rolled on the ground screaming.
"You see, when trash like you gets the privilege to speak to me it should be kneeling."
As Turgas rolled around he began screaming at the top of his lungs, "You, my brother will kill you. He will kill yo...."
The blonde demon seemed to have blacked out from the pain.
Vernes laughed, and pretended to realize something before he sent a Spatial Slash on either side of Turgas, cutting his hands as well.
Oreth couldn't help but take a step back, 'Here I was hoping for a quick death, at this point that would be a godsend. This dude really is a maniac, I've never noticed since he's always sleeping on his desk.'
The blue-haired demon sighed and looked at one of Turgas's lackeys, "Take him to the infirmary, tell them that they only need to close his injuries so that he doesn't bleed out. I'm afraid that if they regenerate his limbs I'm going to have to give him another lesson."
The demon he was looking at nodded repeatedly and grabbed the heavily bleeding body of Turgas and left the classroom.
"AHEM, Mr. Vernes I'm expecting a full report detailing the cause for your, 'treatment' of Turgas."
They all looked at the front of the class and found a young man with green hair.
'Was the professor there the whole time? This damn school is crazy, how can I get out of here!'
The whole class knew that the report was just a formality, Vernes was on a completely different level than them. The only time the report would be taken seriously was if two or more students of the same power and social level began a fight. The reports would be read and the one at fault would be punished. In this world, the strong preyed on the weak, even in school. This way the weak would have no other way but to become stronger.
Vernes smiled at the profesor and gave a short nod, "You'll have it right away Sir, but before that, there is something else I have to do. 'Stone' where are you at? Oh, there you are, see now he can't throw or kick any more stones at me haha. I gotta say I like your spirit but there was something wrong with your question earlier.
Oreth's body became tense. He had been able to act so calmly before because he thought he was going to die, but this bastard doesn't simply kill. It took all his might to respond, "Oh and what was the part that was wrong?"
"It doesn't matter if the stone was at fault or not, it still hit me."
Before Orthis could react to what the blue demon had said, Vernes was already in front of him. The last thing he saw was the raised hand of the blue demon before everything turned dark.
