Oreth closed the curtain and sat down on his bed.
"Alright now back to business what type of system did I get?"

'So I already checked out the magic that I'm able to use but that was something that I already had before. As for titles, I'm not sure if it will grant any abilities in the future or if it's simply talking about reputation. What exactly are Market Coins and Core points, how do I get them?''
He looked at the bottom of the screen and tried pressing the [[Dimensional Market]] button, unlike his earlier attempt at pressing the icon in his vision he was actually able to press the status screen. On the blue screen, a search bar appeared and below it, there was a tab labeled catalog.
He pressed on the tab and once again the screen changed. On the screen, there were now images of all kinds of objects such as weapons, potions, creatures, grimoires, and a bunch of other things that he couldn't find in his memories and below them there were prices.
'This is practically an online shopping website, is that what my system is? Then there's also the fact that I don't remember hearing about any of these objects in either one of my memories, the button in the status screen was also titled, Dimensional Market. Does that mean that I'm buying things from other worlds? Or are these things from this world's human civilization and that's why I don't know anything about them?'
He clicked on the [Grimoire] tab and used the filter to organize the objects from cheap to expensive. He was surprised by the sheer quantity of the Grimoires that were listed. No matter how much he scrolled down he couldn't reach the end of the list. He went back up, at the moment he had none of these Market Coins so he shouldn't be tempting himself with things he can't yet buy.

'Is that it? This is pretty vague, are they not going to give the mana cost of the skill, or the range? Also, can I even learn magic that isn't from my element? All demons have the dark attribute but it's not that uncommon to have other attributes as well.'

Oreth had heard of these skills before, so even if he didn't have that information for those skills he would be fine. According to the stories that he had heard before they were mostly used by humans, the power of the skill was dependent on the amount of mana that was put into it and the mastery that they had. He had seen several demons have these basic skills but none that were worthy to mention. The thing was that with so many grimoires there was no doubt that he would come across one he hadn't heard of and that information was crucial.
"This is great but for someone like me who has a crappy mana pool, magic probably shouldn't be what I should be looking for, Unless…."
He went back to the search bar and wrote mana, 'Usually if someone wants to increase the mana pool that they were born with they would have to forcibly expand it by absorbing mana crystals. The problem with this is that this is a pretty expensive process and it didn't always work. There was a chance that you would explode due to the strain of the excess mana you would be absorbing. With so many different things this system had there was a probability that there might be something that can help.'
Since he didn't exactly know what he was looking for he decided to simply search for mana, he didn't want to skip over a cheaper or more effective method of increasing his mana pool by being too selective in his wording. After a few minutes, he was finally able to find some things that could help.
....
Item: Mana Ring
Description: Ruby ring with engraved runes allowing the user to store mana into it
Cost: 850 MC
....
Item: Mana Tattoo
Description: Tattoo made of special ink that automatically absorbs 5% of mana of the user whenever the user's mana pool is full, stored mana will be accessible to the user.
Cost: 2,000 MC
....
Potion: Mana Pool Expansion
Description: Potion that increases mana pool.
Cost: 5,500 MC
....
Pill: Mana Concentration
Description: Pill that increases the quality of mana.
Cost: 8,500 MC
....
Crystal Skill: Mana Absorption
Description: Skill possessed by the Great Mana Slime, user will be able to absorb surrounding mana
Cost: 45,000 MC
....
'I've heard of rune rings before they are expensive and they can be worth a fortune depending on the amount of mana you can store in them. What grades are the ones that are being sold here? There are also some other pieces of equipment that can store mana in here. If I find a way to get these Market Coins then I might be able to buy a few. The Mana tattoo is a new one for me, sounds similar to the tattoo of the City Lord but with a different function.

Oreth continued scrolling down until he found what he was looking for, there was a potion that expanded his mana pool, to make things better there was one that made increased the quality of his mana. Finally, he had a ticket towards improvement, now all he needed was to find out how to get these so-called Market Coins. He was also curious about the quantity that he could buy, if there was no limit was it possible that he could sell these things after he bought them off the system?
'Mana Absorption? Does that mean that I could immediately recover my mana by sucking it from my surroundings and not having to wait for my body to replenish it or needing to absorb a mana crystal? I wish this thing could go more into detail.'
After looking at the weapons and armor sections he decided that he had enough. He was just making himself suffer by looking at all the things he couldn't have.
He went back to the status board and clicked on the Merchant button, at first Oreth thought that that the button would lead him to a place where there would be things with a discount or something similar. After all, the Market pretty much had everything he would need so what other purpose would the merchant option serve.
When the screen changed he was surprised to find that he was wrong.

________
After reading through the screen Oreth had an educated guess of what the merchants were for, 'So is this how I earn Market Coins and Core Points?'
He pressed on the [Hire Merchant] button and on the screen and what appeared gave him 5 choices to choose from.
(Grey Cloaked Merchant)
-Grade: Common
-Capacity: 25 items
-Cost: 100 CP (Core Points)
....
(Green Cloaked Merchant}
-Grade: Uncommon
-Capacity: 50 items
-Cost: 1,000 CP
....
(Blue Cloaked Merchant)
-Grade: Rare
-Capacity: 100 items
-Cost: 10,000 CP
....
(Purple Cloaked Merchant
-Grade: Epic
-Capacity: 200 items
-Cost: 100,000 CP
....
(Gold Cloaked Merchant}
-Grade: Legendary
-Capacity: 400 items
-Cost: 1,000,000 CP
....
'Alright now it looks more like a game, but why is there such a drastic increase in the cost. Could it be that there is something that improves about the merchant and not just the capacity of items? Otherwise, why would the cost increase 10 times more for each grade? I don't even know how to get these Core Points, are there any missions? Are the items that it's talking about from the Market? If so how am I supposed to stock up these guys and make Market Coins if I don't have any Market Coins to get the items?'
Since there was nothing much he could do he went back to the status screen and pressed on storage. He was taken to a screen that had 50 empty slots, he tried putting his bed and his clothes inside the storage but it didn't seem like he could, which baffled him even more. 'How am I supposed to get Market Coins then?'
He then clicked on the Upgrade button but the only thing that appeared on the screen was the following.
...….
________
-{Upgrade Cost}: 1000 CP
-{Core Points}: N/A
{{Upgrade}}
________
The font of the button was in red which most likely meant that he couldn't upgrade due to insufficient Core points.
Oreth had issues with how little information the system was giving him. In the mangas that he had read, there was always some sort of welcome packet to get the MC started.
'Okay, I've sulked enough in my previous life, get your shit together. So far mangas haven't been that far of so think about how MCs have gotten system points. One of those methods might be the one that I need. So those ways are missions, check-ins, reactions of people, hunting, converting money.... Ugh, I know that I can come up with more!'
As he was thinking about this he smelled some food coming from outside his door. He looked out the window and was surprised that it had gotten dark.
He walked out and found his parents eating their meal, they were talking about their day and rumors that they had heard from their customers. Oreth got his food and sat down at the table while he kept thinking about possible ways to make Market Coins.
After finishing his meal he laid in bed and decided to sleep, demon bodies were stronger than humans so they could go 3 days without sleep. They could see clearly in the dark so the city was always bustling.
Oreth wasn't sure that he liked the idea of not sleeping since he quite enjoyed it so he decided to sleep. 'There's not much I can do right now, I'll get some rest and find a solution to this problem with a well-rested and clear head. Oh now that I think about it I also have school tomorrow, gotta say that I'm looking forward to it.'

The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. Crossposting on ScribbleHub, SpaceBattles, and Wattpad. Don't mind the "Pre-Rewrite" Volume. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). If you are a first-time reader, feel free to start from the other Volume.

A crumbling autumn leaf
DROPED That systems comes out of nowhere, he's fine with that, it will be hard, but he can bring everyone... What do you mean we don't get to go to the tutorial? Well fuck. How did everyone else die anyway? They just needed to stay silent and not touch webs! Magic isn't even that hard, they could have survived this if they had just listened! Now his family is gone and Aki has nothing but time and the system notifications to figure out what actually happened to the rest of the world, perhaps even finding another reason to live after he finishes destroying the dungeon he spawned at from inside out. ***** This novel bases heavily on novels like Defiance of the fall, The new world and The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I would like to think that's it though, so please point out any sort of copying. As someone has pointed out though, i warn now that the main character is bisexual, so please, don't waste your time if that bothers you.
