Chapter 174
Arc 16 - The Fastest Man Alive - Part 11
Universe-91289382:
Not too long ago, Rewind found himself in an alien universe full of antimatter. In the antimatter universe, Rewind had been vaporised on a molecular level.
His molecules had exploded and ceased existing.
The destroyed molecules had lost their very existence.
While he did run through this more than a week ago, he did not realise how deadly antimatter was to him. But now, he got a full taste of this evil state of matter.
However…
That was not the end of this entity known as Rewind. Even as the negatively charged matter exploded him on the molecular level, it did not end him.
His physical form was dead, but that’s never the end.
A living being is made of three aspects, a core - existence, a soul, and a physical body.
When the physical body dies, the soul just wanders around, unless the person has a great willpower to use what's left of them and form something out of themself.
So!
Rewind used the limited consciousness he retained as soul and did not give up. It is irrelevant if matter does not exist, as long as the soul exists, Rewind cannot die.
Even without a physical body, someone can exist and even interact with the corporeal world.
With every bit of his consciousness, he willed himself into a new body.
Ascending beyond the physical plane, Rewind remade himself in the form of energy.
Unlike matter, energy has no physical substance, and it is not made of matter or any other forms of matter, like antimatter.
Energy is energy, distinctly different from matter.
So, in this antimatter universe where he should not be existing, he existed as a being of pure energy. He was no longer an alien in this universe, he had been changed, almost as if he were from this very universe.
“I will not die!” the Rewind who had become energy shouted atop his lungs. “Not until he lives!”
Perhaps if he stopped resisting, he might find his final resting place in this universe.
But he is not sure if that will work.
Even when he was spread thin across the universe, he could still feel himself hence why he was able to ascend.
He cursed himself deep down for having so much control over his body.
Many people across the universe will kill to be able to survive an experience like this, but Rewind hated it.
“I have to kill him,” drunk in his revenge, Rewind screamed to the dark space.
His energy expended, moving in every direction of this universe.
Rewind clenched his fist of energy and with a serious look, he said, “Energy is energy, it's irrelevant what form of matter covers it… So!”
Energy flows through every aspect of this Ultraverse, sans the Void. It is also present in antimatter.
The reason matter and antimatter that can freely exist in a universe and come together to create something, is because energy runs through it.
“I will make you mine and defeat you!”
Rewind expended his energies, covering everything for many star systems.
His bluish white energies covered everything it could, almost as if it would swallow it whole.
“The energies that are flowing within you, antimatter, it follows the commands of its new master...”
Rewind’s energies penetrated the antimatter and made contact with the energies that were flowing through it.
Once the contact was made, he could free move the antimatter as if it was part of his own body.
“REWIND!” he clenched his energy fist tightly and claimed himself victorious.

The antimatter covered this being of energy and created a humanoid shell around it.
“Everything is energy and defeating anything with energy is easy.”
The shell of antimatter formed a body around Rewind and started to go through a change.
“This antimatter body won’t survive anywhere,” his victorious tone was replaced by an annoyed one. “I must regain my old body.”
And so, he did.
He changed the negatively charged matter and charged it positively and regained his older body.
However, he had miscalculated.
The body exploded once again before he had the chance to run away.
Before his soul was damaged in the explosion, Rewind screamed in pain as he created an energy body for himself again.
“Oh… This is troublesome...”
However, he was not angry.
If he could see his face, he would have seen a faint hopeful smile on his face.
There was something that could keep him down. He was pinned down.
“But… I won’t give into you.”
He reformed his body again, but it exploded again before he could move.
So, he did it again. And again. And again. And again.
No matter how much he tried to create a body for himself and run away, it was simply impossible.
In this antimatter universe, matter cannot exist at all, but if he leaves this universe with an antimatter body, he cannot exist in other universes.
While he could leave with an antimatter body and change it when he reached another universe, for some reasons, he wants to prove to himself. He wants to prove something to himself.
I have always wanted to die, but...
He created a new body for himself, but it exploded moments later.
“I will die when I FEEL LIKE IT! WHEN I WANT TO!”
He created another body for him, but that too exploded moments later.
With every death, Rewind smiled in a more excited manner.
How…
His heart was beating faster and faster.
How long has it been since I have felt a thrill like this?
And so, he created another body for himself, but only this time, it did not explode.
The body was of antimatter.
“I know what I must do… It has never been done before, but...”
He giggled like an excited child.
The energies in his body exploded out and created a dome around him. Within the dome, the antimatter was absorbed by Rewind, leaving nothing but pitch-black Void of nothingness behind.
With enough antimatter in this dome of Void, Rewind began to work.
Antimatter is a negatively charged matter, and it cannot co-exist with its positive counterpart.
But… neither of them has met Rewind before.
Rewind held his palms closer to one another, which sucked in all the antimatter from his body. The only antimatter in this dome was now floating between his palms.
Rewind rearranged the antimatter and turned it into matter.
However, they started to attack one another.
They cannot co-exist, so they must annihilate one another.
“You are so small and cute.”
The two opposing matters attacked one another, but Rewind kept them away from exploding.
When the two forms of matter meet, it creates an energy spark before exploding together, which leaves nothing but energy.
Now then...
Rewind brought the two matters close to one another, but just as the spark came out, he pushed it back into its rightful matter. Without that spark, the fight between antimatter and matter will be longer before they annihilate one another.
So, he used that opportunity to push them closer and closer.
Then he opened the tip of both matters and squashed them together.

Before the sparks touched, starting a chain reaction of explosion, Rewind contained the explosions within it.
He mixed the energies of both matter and antimatter and changed the spark slightly, so it won’t trigger a chain reaction.
Without the energies fighting, the matter and antimatter were absorbed into each other, birthing something new and unique which did not exist before.
“I will call you...”
「Hypermatter」, a hybrid of antimatter and matter.
Now that he succeeded in creating a new form of matter, a hybrid of positively and negatively charged matter, he created a new body from this Hypermatter and the energy dome collapsed onto him.
“Heh...” Rewind smiled a victorious smile.
He had defeated this insane enemy of his.
He had conquered the antimatter universe as a being of matter.
He conquered both, making him a new and unique being.
“There is nothing stopping me from killing you now...”
His words trailed off as the sword swooshed in front of him.
It flashed, telling something to Rewind.
“So, they have finally given me a go...”
He laughed.
“It took them a long time.”
The sword flashed again.
“It takes me less than a fraction of a second… No, it takes me just an instant to reach the ends of the multiverse. Of course, he will be dead before he even realises--”
The sword flashed brightly, almost as if it was alarmed.
“WHAT?! I am not to kill him instantly?”
The sword flashed, albeit faintly compared to before.
In anger, Rewind punched the dark space before him, creating a crack in it.
“FINE! FINE! I WILL DO AS HE SAYS!”
He clutched onto the grip of the sword and held it tightly.
“Come with me, sword, let us fulfil our needs and gain what was promised to me.”
The sword flashed brightly again, causing Rewind to groan.
“What do you mean I was stuck in this universe for more than a day?!”
Rewind sighed.
“Well, whatever, it is only a matter of a few seconds.”
The sword flashed brightly again.
“Ugh, fine, not now. I understand.”
Rewind wanted to finish the deed instantly, but he could not do that because if he did, he would be denied his destiny.
So, he ran fast, faster than before, and reached the Outflow.
“I found you just the other day, but you are going to be my new friend,” Rewind joked.
And so, he moved through the Outflow, destroying universes in front of him.
Once he got bored, he went into each universe and started killing people with his own hands.
As usual, he found that more fun.
And he did that to waste as much time as he could until the deadline.
But that’s a story for another time.
❢◥ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◆ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◤❢
On an unknown glass planet, Aizen picked up his cape and started to put it on his shoulders as he marched forward. He raised his head ever so slowly.
The look in his eyes slowly changed from his usual sad one to a more serious one.
Slowly, he walked towards the Supreme One as he continued to put on his cape behind his shoulders.
The supreme creator of this Ultraverse slowly started to notice how different the aura around this odd creature was becoming.
With every step, his body and aura changed, and so did the way he was moving.
With every step, his posture straightened, and his usual squinted eyes slowly opened, returning to normal.
The hair that was laying down in a messy manner slowly started to go through a change and rose upwards and quaffed. In addition to that, his long blue hair became shorter.
The skinny body of his slowly went through a change too.
The man was no longer skinny, but a muscular man with a powerful visible aura around him.
The Supreme One tilted his head to the right a little.
He was confused.
What just happened?
“Are you ready, Supremer?”
Aizen’s voice also went through a change. Usually, he had a lot of respect and fear in his voice, but now, he was different. His voice harboured great confidence and strength that was never present before.
“At last, the stars have smiled upon you, and your ascendance is now in motion.”
He was no longer telling him or asking, he was ordering him.
“Supremer, let us begin at once.”
Aizen stood in front of the Supreme One and looked down upon him.
“Who are you… really?”
“I am a being of the Second Dimensional Plane of Existence, a character from the stories of this Plane.”
“That is a lie,” the Supreme One could hear the truth at all costs. No one could lie to him, for he was God and God knows the truth.
“Lie or truth, in front of the stars, it is nothing. Now then, Supremer, let us not waste any more time. When the time comes, you will know all there is you want to know.”
Aizen tapped him on the shoulder and walked past him.
“I had a father once; he would always smile at me and not one did he ever feel anger or resentment towards me… I had a mother; she was no different. They were the kindest people in the creation, but to everyone else… They were the worst.”
The Supreme One slowly turned his head around.
He wondered, why was Aizen telling him this.
“The two were powerful, and they had nothing but one another until I was created.”
“I know of this story; it was in the picture books on Earth.”
“To you, I originated from an obscure and badly written comic known as “Aizen, the Omnipotent One”. But I had a life before that.”
“Oh.”
The Supreme One caught onto what Aizen wanted to say.
“Omnipotence is what you always longed for, and as the “Omnipotent One”, I will grant you just that.”
“...”
The Supreme One unleashed a pearl of forced laughter.
“Laugh all you want, but you mustn't waste time, Supremer.”
The Supreme One sighed heavily.
“Let us play this game.”
Aizen scoffed as lightly as a feather.
“Now then… Pick up the Reality Breaker,” he ordered the Supreme One while staring at the sky above them.
The world around them glitched as in the hands of the Supreme One a spear appeared.
He looked at the spear in his hand and inspected it.
However, he could not understand it. What was this spear made of? And what was that energy coursing through it?
For a man who had bathed in supreme energies, he found this thing as alien as him.
He wanted to know what this spear will do, what it is capable of, and why did this man Aizen know about it.
And another question reappeared in the back of his head; who is Aizen?
He wanted to pressure this creature into giving him the answer he needed, but Aizen spoke before he could unleash those words.
“Supremer, within you, energies of creation flows, channel that and activate the spear.”
The Supreme One did not like it, but he mentally clicked his tongue and started to do as Aizen suggested.
“Once the spear is activated, point it right to the heavens, the heavens far above the Ultraverse and shoot it.”
Aizen’s instructions were not noticeably clear, but the Supreme One understood.
He gripped the spear from the middle and held it tightly.
He sucked in a breath as he looked up to the sky.
Beyond the blue sky, he could see the darkness, and beyond that, he could see infinities stacked up above one another that seemed to go forever.
His vision was only limited up to a few levels above the Eight Plane of Existence, but even that was quite a lot.
All this time, he looked at the world he had created as if it was just a paper in his book, but looking at it from a different angle, it was truly vast.
But even then, it was small. Smaller than what he should have created.
"Look beyond that."
The Supreme One could not.
Like most people, he has limits. He cannot merely overcome those limits.
He is weak, and quite low in the hierarchy of the Celestials, and no matter what he does, he cannot rise from this place anymore.
The difference between him and the person just a step ahead is bigger than an infinity and crossing an infinity is nigh impossible.
"Force your vision outside of this Ultraverse, imagine if the infinites and planes are as transparent as the glass planet we stand upon."
And so, he did, but he reached his limits quickly.
He could not look past the higher planes.
Lucifer has grown into a powerful entity who has overtaken the Supreme One and so has Michael, but the two of them are not 「Creators」. They are a 「Creation」 who are made to grow more powerful as time passes by.
But the original cannot increase their powers just like that. They need an external source.
“I cannot.”
“Then use the spear. Within it, energies of the one true God coursing, so use that. Absorb it.”
The Supreme One looked at the spear.
“I think I understand what you are trying to do here, you are wasting time.”
“Oh?” Aizen turned around and looked at the Supreme One.
“You are questioning whether you will take me through this journey or not.”
“Why, yes, of course,” Aizen sounded exasperated. “I will be revealing the utmost secrets of the Omniverse to someone like you… For free. You receive the power you always dreamt of, and in return, I receive nothing.”
“Then why help me from the beginning?”
“...”
Aizen shrugged.
“Ahh, whatever. Let’s do this. I am quite bored.”
Aizen turned his back to the Supreme One and looked at the sky.
He raised his hand and pointed to a faraway bright pink star.
“Get ready.”
Aizen moved his fingers through the air, creating a constellation in the stars.
First, he created a triangle, then created another slanted one within it. Then he moved his fingers and covered the triangles within a circle.
Once the circle was formed, he clenched his fist.
His fist opened and he slowly moved it forward towards the stars, as if pushing the space itself.
“Shoot it!” he ordered the Supreme One.
In return, the Supreme One tightened his grip on this spear.
The Supreme One swung his arm backwards.
“Pheh,” he sucked in a breath.
Thrusting his arm forward with force, the spear flew towards the constellation at a great speed, ripping through everything in its path.
The spear flew right at the constellation and upon contact, it created a large explosion of nothing but white light.
“After so long...” Aizen seemed excited. “Another one ascends. Haha!”
Aizen started to float.
“Come, Supremer, your destiny awaits you.”
And so, the Supreme One followed suit.
He flew right after Aizen, the odd one.
The two of them flew right into the explosion of white light and vanished.
Immediately after, the white light also folded into itself aggressively before vanishing.
လလလ
“Where...”
The Supreme One and Aizen were flying upwards as if they were in an elevator.
The Supreme One looked around him, but he found nothing but darkness.
In the far shores of the darkness, he could see small stars.
“This is your ascension process, Supremer,” Aizen said out loudly with great excitement. “You are moving up the Celestial ladder, like a shooting star. Every second, you are travelling transfinite distance. Every second, you transcend a layer of this omniverse.”
Aizen turned around and looked at the Supreme One.
"Every step of the stair is transcendent by infinities. It would have taken you billions of years just to move up one step, but with me, you can take all the steps at once."
“Ha...” the Supreme One smiled faintly - albeit it could not be seen since he has no face. “So, this is it...”
This is what he always wanted; from the day he could think.
The omnipotence he longed for was finally coming to him.
“But...” suddenly, his thoughts diverted as he saw something odd.
In this darkness, he saw something unusual.
An aurora.
He could see a faint white and red colour, as well as a light brown.
These unusual colours had painted this darkness unbelievably beautiful.
“What is that?”
“Oh, that,” Aizen looked at it with reminiscing eyes. “That would be...”
“!!”
As they transcended a multitude of infinities and layers, the Supreme One found himself surprised.
From here, he caught a glimpse of this aurora with a different angle.
“That is the Supreme God of Everything.”
“The human,” the Supreme One added.
“Yes, him. He exists in every plane of this omniverse at once, so you can see remnants of his existence in every place. However, you must look at it from a certain angle.”
The Supreme One nodded.
“Our “creator”, he exists on every plane of existence there is simultaneously, huh?” the Supreme One spoke in a displeased tone.
He manipulated a child into becoming omnipotent, he wanted to steal that power for him, but he could not achieve it.
“He is the true omnipotent God, but do not worry, your idea of omnipotence… Yes, you will reach that, no matter what.”
Slowly, they transcended through every level.
As they went up, the Supreme One started to take notice of interesting beings and things around him.
A leviathan of awesome and devilish power was moving through the Void.
On another level, an orange hydra of fire roared.
“Every level, every layer, has their own Ultraverse, albeit people cannot exist in it. So, these entities just enjoy their time alone.”
On another level, in a beautiful blue sea under a glittering sun, a turtle was relaxing.
“This is...”
“Don’t pay it too much attention, you could lose your mind. I am protecting you, but if they take notice, you will be dead.”
“Is that… so?”
The Supreme One decided to look up.
The speed at which they were moving increased significantly.
The darkness was slowly fading, each level was becoming increasingly colourful.
“Ah, the good old Null, allowing everyone to have a space of their own...” he let out a short burst of condescending laughter.
His laughter was cut short by his own words by an almost excited squeal, “Ah, look at that.”
The Supreme One followed the trail of his eyes and his eyes laid on a destroyed world. All he could see was a nearly destroyed castle.
“That’s Virrasil.”
“Virrasil...?”
The two of them moved past beyond that layer and continued to move forward.
“The conduits of the world.”
The Supreme One did not understand anything.
While he could not see his face, Aizen could tell he was confused. So, he decided to explain himself.
“Every light that you can see was created by the Gods of Virrasil. The people of the World have infinite power that can reshape everything they want, but they do not realise the power they hold over the lower worlds.”
“So, their wishes are sent to the Gods of Virrasil, who then shape these lights?”
“Not exactly,” Aizen shook his head. “That used to be the case, the Gods of Virrasil were conduits of their dreams and wishes. Often, they would create two Ultraverses, one for the wishes and dreams of the World, and other for the wishes and dreams of their own.”
“Then…?”
“The Gods of Virrasil were destroyed, eaten by one of them.”
Aizen did not have to say anymore, but the Supreme One understood whom he was talking about.
The Dragon.
For some reasons, he knew the Dragon was responsible for this.
“Those conduits kept the lights in peace, but since they are gone, these lights are always in chaos because the people of the World cannot control the dreams they have-- Ah.”
Aizen cut off his own words.
“We are here.”
The Supreme One looked up, and so did Aizen.
The elevator was reaching its destination.
“In the last few moments, we have transcended boundless infinities and layers of existence to reach here. You have, at last, ascended to the power you always wanted.”
A portal of light appeared, and the two of them flew through it.
This was it, the Supreme One thought.
The power he wanted is finally within his grasp.
All he needs to do is clench his fist and claim his victory.
And so, he did.
He felt his power increase immensely.
He could see everything down there; he could feel everything in the lower worlds.
With the slightest movement of his fingers, he thought he could destroy all there was. Trillions upon trillions of lights - Ultraverses, each bigger than one another - seemed so small.
He thought he could hold all of it in the palm of his own hand.
He could reshape everything in accordance to his will and image.
He could do everything.
He could be the Supreme God.
“Wake up,” Aizen flicked his finger and hit him on the forehead.
The Supreme One gasped as he widened his eyes.
The white light around them slowly dimmed as he found himself in an odd world.
He was surrounded by “people”, so normal, he could not believe his eyes.
He saw scenery that reminded him of a backwater planet he hated the most.
It did not make sense.
He has the power to do everything now, so why is he confused?
Does he not want to accept what he has learned? Or is there something else?
“!!”
The Supreme One realised he had lost his form.
He had become something else.
He had become “human”.
He looked at the back of his palm, it was as human as it gets. His energy form was long gone.
His dark skin was covered by human-like clothes.
He touched his hair and it felt extremely hard.
He moved his eyes around and saw a mirror.
He looked in the mirror and could see his own reflection. He really was a “human”.
He slowly raised his hand and touched his face. The skin was no different than how Lucifer created his subjects.
As he was inspecting himself, he looked at the reflection of this new world around him.
It was not what he was expecting. It was the opposite of what he was expecting.
“This is...” he spoke with wide eyes.
“Yes, this is… This is the highest realm in creation that people like you can access. The highest one that can be accessed except for a few of us.”
“...”
“Welcome to...”
Aizen spread his arms widely as he welcomed him to this brave new world.
“「The World」!”
