Chapter 147.9
Arc 14.5 - God of Stories - Part 9
Nazar died and from his head, dozens of personalities came crashing out of it.
The dead body of his turned into a dragon made of pure white energy.
“Oh no… It can’t be,” said a powerless Nazar, who is the exact replica of the original as he clenched his fist tightly. “This thing...”
Emma, standing behind the nanites armoured Ion gulped.
“Wh-what’s that?” she whispered to her brother, Ion, a heroic personality of Nazar.
“I do not know exactly, but… It’s nothing good.”
“Will you...”
Emma’s eyes darted left and right.
She was not sure how to refer to her own brother.
There were dozens of them, or hundreds of them, or million, she could not see but there were too many in this room - which looked bigger, much bigger than usual. The Angel had turned this room into a subspace greater than a universe.
“Will he be okay?”
“...”
Ion looked around uncomfortably.
He had no definitive answer to her question, after all, he did not have as great intelligence as the others, and certainly, no understanding of this situation.
“Yes, he will be okay,” the powerless Nazar said. “We all will be.”
The many personalities who were busy working on keeping the subspace safe while others tried to recreate Rage, a personality of Nazar made of nothing except for anger. Rage was killed by the energy around Emma.
"The psychic and emotional attack by X has left him in a near death state. We can bring him back."
“Wait, wait, wait…”
“You don’t mean...”
Destruction and Death both leaned forward and looked the powerless Nazar intensely in the eye.
“No, no, no, it is exactly as we thought, no?”
“I am afraid so,” the powerless Nazar looked down unhappily, but his voice did not shake, “there is no other option.”
“What?” the demonic Nazar narrowed his eyes angrily as he picked up the powerless one by the neck. “What the hell do you mean by that?”
“It is the.. ngh... only way,”
Oooo-OOOO-oooo-OOOO!
The dragon made of energy growled even greater, causing the subspace to crack.
“Damn it!” the powerless Nazar bit his lip as he looked at the Demon. Sucking in a breath, he narrowed his eyes and ordered the personalities sternly. “Angel, raise the subspace into an Eight Dimensional Plane of Existence. You, Creation, make sure to protect Emma and Ion no matter what happens, got it?”
“Shut up!”
The Demon slammed the powerless Nazar into the wall.
"Urk!" the powerless Nazar coughed blood. "Do--"
“Don’t you dare think you are the superior one. Don’t think you can order me around."
"Ju... Just listen to me, DAMN IT!"
The Demon kicked him in the face, breaking his teeth.
"Gah!"
However, he did not stay down.
He forced his body to stand up once again.
"I am not going to--”
A Nazar, made of golden white light, placed his hand on the demon’s arm.
“He is the replica of the original, listen to him,” the divine voice of this Nazar calmed down the demon. It forced his emotions to suppress.
The Demon clicked his tongue as he turned away from the powerless one.
“Thanks, Creation,” he thanked his saviour as he slowly stood up. “Now please focus on Emma and Ion.“
“As you wish.”
“And Destruction, keep the universe safe, just in case.”
The veins in the temple of the Destruction popped in anger.

He clenched his fist as he flew right at this Nazar, trying to cut his head in half for his insolence.
However.
“He will do that,” Death said as he dragged Destruction by the back of his neck.
“Haaa? You really--”
“Yes, yes, he will.”
“No, no, I will not.”
“Sure, dumbasssssss, now let’s go and save the world.”
“But I am a villain.”
“So, am I.”
“Ugh,” Destruction groaned. “Fine.”
When Emma saw them, she shrunk in her place because of their evil presence, but seeing them act like that, she couldn’t help but snicker with nostalgic laughter.
She could see traces of her brother in these different personalities.
“He is growing, growing greater than everything there is unless...” the powerless one stood tall and mighty and spoke. “All of you, you know what we have to do, right?”
The subspace shook once again as the cracks increased in it.
『WHO ARE ALL OF YOU?』
“We are you,” the powerless one responded to this dragon.
『WHO AM I?』
“You are...”
The powerless Nazar breathed out through his nose, feeling a little angrier.
“Your name is Nazar Hall, as is the name of all of us here gathered. And you...”
Every personality glanced at this Nazar in great interest.
What was he going to tell him?
Some of them had already known, but some did not, so they were interested.
“And you are the Supreme God of all creation.”
“!!”
“!!”
“!!”
The bodies of these personalities froze in their place.
A long time ago, Nazar had warned his other personalities.
[Never refer to yourself with that title and pretend we have never reached that far ahead. No matter the situation, you must never do that.]
[If the previous rules are broken, there will be consequences. Your death. All of you, even if you had nothing to do with it.]
Everyone agreed to the rules, well almost everyone.
『WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?』
“You stand above everyone else; you are the one who created everything, including us.”
『HMM.』
“So, stop increasing in size. You will destroy your creation.”
『I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU.』
“That does not matter but stop moving and LET US DEFEAT YOU!”
『...』
The room twirled black and white, losing its form.
“STOP!” the powerless one shouted at the dragon. “IF YOU DON’T, I WILL HAVE TO--”
『YOU LIE, HUMAN, YOU CANNOT HOPE TO STOP ME.』
“Yes, I can,” the powerless one stood tall and mighty with a thin smile before the dragon that was bigger than a universe. “You do not even know yourself, or your capabilities, so how can you stand against me?”
The personalities looked at one another.
“I will stabilize the subspace while Life and Energy should keep him busy,” the Angel said loudly.
The personalities groaned at once.
“You, the dragon, prepare yourself for defeat,” the powerless one held his hand at him. “Just like everyone else who has ever faced us, you will be defeated.”
『AGREE TO DISAGREE.』
“Creation, if you can multitask, I would appreciate it if you could bring up the infinity of this Plane of Existence.”
“Hm?”
“If you raise an infinity, this place will become larger than it is, thus giving us more time to defeat him.”
『NEED I REMIND YOU THAT I CAN KILL YOU WITHOUT LIFTING A FINGER?』
“I dare you, kill me,” he narrowed his eyes.

『I WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WISH FOR.』
“Kill me,” in return, he spread his arms wide.
The dragon glared at him.
The cracking of the subspace stopped as the dragon focused everything it had on this one man.
“Hehe,” he laughed a low evil laughter in return. "Classic."
『PREPARE YOURSELF, HUMAN.』
The powerless one smiled ever so thinly.
“NOW!”
All the personalities groaned at once.
Ion glanced at Emma as he smiled a small yet sad sigh.
“He created me to sleep with a demon, what a pathetic reason for existing,” the Demon spat out.
“Hm, me too, he made me because he wanted an audience with the angels,” the Angel sighed lightly.
“He made me because he wanted to be friends with an assassin,” the blue coloured Nazar shook his head.
“He created me because he wanted to understand the primal concepts,” Death added.
Destruction’s reason was the same, so he just clicked his tongue.
“He created me so he can put all the good and heroic thoughts in one place,” Ion said.
“And I because he wanted to get rid of that side of him,” Creation looked down.
“I was created so he could move faster,” a being made of energy created for the sole reason so he could keep up with Rewind spoke, although he was not disappointed or unhappy.
“He created me because he wanted a better understanding of magic,” a Nazar made of nothing but magical energies spoke.
“I am his rage personified,” a red glowing translucent Nazar spoke, although he was not angry.
“I, his fear.”
“I, his will.”
“I, his sadness.”
“I, his happiness.”
“I, his love.”
“I, his anxiety.”
The list went on and on for a long time.
The emotions spoke one after another, naming themselves.
"What a pitiful existence…" Destruction scratched the back of his head in a sulking manner. He was happy he finally got a chance to be free so he could do whatever he wanted. But he never realised how cruel his master is until today.
"Perhaps be will make us again?" Death snorted at his own question. "Perhaps not…"
"I will miss you, Death."
"You too…"
Death and Destruction bumped their fists as they shared a glance.
"Now then…" the powerless one leapt at the jaw of the dragon.
The Angel looked at the Demon, who replied with a grunt of anger.
"Hehe, at least I won't die like a loser as that emotionless one did."
He pretended to be happy, but in reality, he was incredibly angry.
Angel could see that, but he did not say anything.
"Ah damn it!"
Dozens of them, or hundreds, or millions, there were too many that all leapt at the jaw of the dragon.
"Every emotion you have ever felt, every thought you ever had, every number you had every calculated…"
The powerless one bit his lip for a brief moment.
He thought.
Was it worth dying over?
Was it worth bringing him back?
But what if they fail?
No. There is no place for doubt.
He shook his head.
He tightened his chest.
He broke himself in many versions creating all of them, so he could share the feelings, memories, and powers.
"He is a terrible person," he spoke with a smile, "he is boring, he is evil, but we are him. We won't die as long as he lives. We are part of him. And now…"
All of them entered the dragon's jaw.
Every one of them flew into its jaw.
Every one of them flew into death.
"Aaaah!" Emma covered her ears as she heard the sound of crunching.
She did not want to believe what she just heard.
She did not want to believe any of this happened.
So, she tried to think of something less violent.
"!!" The room lit up brightly, so Emma had to quickly move a hand to protect her eyes.
"At last…"
She heard a familiar voice coming out of the bright white light.
"I am whole again."
She forced her eyes open and looked at the light - which was slightly dimmed.
In the middle, she saw a familiar face, floating with his arms held up, although not completely.
He checked himself, smiling, with a hint of sadness mixed into it.
"Nazar?"
The voice waved his arm and dispersed the white light, replacing it with jet black darkness.
"Oh, right, you were here. Let's leave this place."
"Uwah!" Before she could question him, she found herself picked up by Nazar. "Huh? Huh? What's going on?"
Nazar had picked her up in her arms, trying to fly away.
"Hold tight."
"I don't want to be princess carried by my brother!" she was clearly annoyed and angry, so she pouted.
Perhaps she was still shaken by what she saw just moments ago or angry that Nazar had died again. Or perhaps it was simply she did not want to be carried like this.
"Should I drop you then?"
"Haaa? Of course, not!"
Nazar let out a small burst of laughter.
"I could drag you with a force field or throw you first but sadly that does not guarantee your safety as much as this does."
Emma let out a small grunt before she wrapped her arms around his neck to be safe.
"This is embarrassing," she muttered.
"If I leave you, you will die instantly. This is the Eight Dimensional Plane of Existence, the moment my protection fails, you would disintegrate into absolute nothingness, as if you have never existed. But don't worry, I will remember you. So, do you want me to drop you?" he asked with a comical smile.
"Eek!" Emma's body shivered in fear.
Nazar flew through the dark space.
"I would have ripped through the barriers of this plane and took us down, but that also does not guarantee your immediate safety."
There was no light, but she could see the smile on his face.
However, she was not sure why he was smiling.
Was it a disappointed smile or happy?
"Take a look behind, you are about to witness the rarest event in cosmos."
"What do you… mean... Oh."
The black space wobbled up, causing Emma to swallow her saliva.
"What's happening?"
"Just watch."
While he was smiling, Emma watched with wide eyes.
She was not sure what was happening, but at the same time, she could not peel away her eyes.
"Infinity plus infinity is still infinity, you agree?"
Emma glanced at her brother confusingly.
What was he talking about?
But in any case, how would she know the answer to that?
"Uh, yes, I think?"
"You are about to witness infinity being removed from infinity."
"...????????"
Many question marks floated around her head.
Is he stupid?
Bur in the next instant, her eyes widened.
The black darkness exploded.
There was no light or sound, but it exploded.
She could see an explosion, but how exactly was it happening?
"The Eight Dimensional Plane of Existence, a plane of existence that is infinitely higher than the infinitely big Third Dimensional Plane of Existence, which is smaller than the infinitely big Fourth to Seventh Dimensional Plane of Existence. When the Angel raised an infinity, it brought up that subspace by an infinity, thus cause an imbalance of the cosmic structure. So, this plane of existence had to pay the price for it. Understand?"
"..."
She was more confused than she was before.
"Not at all."
"Oh…"
Emma was expecting him to let out a heavy sigh, but to her surprise, there was none.
"To put it in simple terms, I accidentally fucked up the universe."
"...."
Emma's mouth opened then closed like a goldfish. She looked at her brother and then the explosion. She tried again to speak but could not.
"But hey, at least we are witnessing a cosmic event on a level never seen before. It's… interesting."
Emma stared at him blankly.
Many thoughts and emotions ran through her - fear, anger, disappointment and more - but she was not sure if this was the right time to express it or how best to express these emotions.
"..."
The black space around them exploded and Emma could finally feel the shockwave from it.
"I have stabilised the numbers of this dimension, since it's mine and I have full control over it, it was quite easy."
Nazar's red eyes flared up as he shot an energy beam at the darkness before him, creating a giant crack in this dimension and flew out of it with Emma.
The dark dimension blew up to pieces, leaving nothing behind.
The weight of the Ultraverse was lowered by a great uncountable number.
