Chapter 147.1
Arc 14.5 - God of Stories - Part 1
Everything dies.
Except for me.
Everything died.
Except for me.
There is nothing.
Except for me.
❢◥ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◆ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ◤❢
Sunday, 4th of July - inside a dark cave on Earth:
“Erina, if you do grow up, you will replace me and stand above me. So, don’t fail me. Don’t force me to un-make you. You are, after all, my last hope.”
“...”
Nobody responded.
“All I am saying, don’t fail me,” he leaned forward at this person while he gritted his teeth angrily. “I will un-make you as if you never existed. Understand?”
The other person, Erina, gulped in fear.
Then nodded her head vigorously.
“Y-yes, I-I--”
“Ah, good. That’s enough for me.”
The man, whom we will call X, stood back up and let out a sigh.
“Both of you, give me everything you have, we are finally close to--”
X trailed off as he looked down at Erina.
His eyes widened as if they would come out of his sockets, however of anger.
“...What...”
Erina had stood up before him, clenched her fist angrily as she pursued her lips.
“Do… Don’t--”
The veins in the temples of X popped in rage.
How dare this nobody stands before him?
How dare this nobody think she can stop him?
He slapped Erina with the back of his hand, throwing her away to the other end of the multiverse.
“Don’t what?”
Like a piece of paper, the 3D multiverse became a 2D universe, and he looked at everything as if it were a page from a comic. An entire multiverse had become a universe on a small piece of paper, yet they were standing in it.
He picked A from the end of the multiverse, tearing through the page, and slammed her into the wall of the cave.
The universe became 3D once more, but once Erina got slammed in it, the entire multiverse turned into something which looked like a stream of hot water that flowed in the darkness.
“Ark!”
Erina's chest swelled up in sadness and pain. She wanted to cry but he did not give her a chance.
“So, what if you are his ###############################?”
He picked up A by the neck and stared at them closely yet coldly.
“I am finally getting close, awfully close, do you understand how long I waited for this, you filth?! So, don’t you dare ruin it!”
In anger, he slammed Erina into the ground, which turned the multiverse into a linear one-dimensional straight line. Then it turned into a 5D world that existed far higher than it should.
The whole of creation wobbled unstably as this man’s anger soared.
“Now then...”
The multiverse was returned to normal with a gust of wind.
Erina was strapped to a chair, no matter what she did, she could not move.
An entire multiverse, newly created multiverse, was trapping her in one place, but it seemed as if it would break off.

“...”
“Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!”
From within him, unknown energies shot out un-creating everything around him.
What was once there, was no longer there and replaced by the black nonexistence.
The rocks in the cave were gone, the energies flowing around them were gone, reality was no longer, time had ceased to exist.
The black nonexistence flew out of his body and covered millions of miles around him.
Slowly, but surely, it was going to cover this world.
“Stop...”
There was another person besides the two of them, whom we will call A, spoke out.
“I… I don’t want this world to die. As much as I hate to say it, I don’t want you to give up now that you have come so far.”
“You...”
X stared at A with a blank look on his face.
“You have pulled us all into a scheme this terrible, so see through it. At least achieve that goal which haunts your very existence.”
“...”
A white light shot of X, restoring the world to what it was.
"All be damned," X muttered.
His eyes fell onto Erina, this mysterious person he had "made".
"You are a weapon of mass destruction like him, you don't get a choice, understand?"
His words were cruel, but his voice was as sweet as a mother talking to a child.
"I am a benevolent God, so I will pretend this did not happen, but next time..."
His kind eyes glared deeply into her soul, causing her to yelp in fear.
"In any event, let's begin."
His eyes narrowed.
He smiled evilly.
"This time, yes this time, we will hurt God like never before."
The two of them found his quick change of mood quite disturbing but there was nothing they could do against this monster.

Plymouth, UK, just moments before the disaster:
"Did you not sleep again?" Laura, who woke up at noon, who scratched her eyes as she asked.
"No," Nazar, who was sitting on the floor with his back pressed against the bed, shook his head. "For some reasons I have a bad feeling."
Laura wondered, what would be making him have this sort of feeling? Can he not precisely tell what's wrong? He is, after all, the most powerful being in existence.
"Come here," she tapped the empty area next to her as she invited him over. "Talk to me about it."
"It's hard to explain."
"How so?"
He stood up and sat next to her.
"The future doesn't exist, yet I have a feeling something is going to happen today. Something… terrible."
"Maybe you are just stressed out?"
"No, I don't think so…"
He thought about the possibility of stress, but he quickly threw that away.
Something bad was going to happen, he knew that somehow, yet he could not put a finger on it.
"When was the last time you slept?"
"A few days ago."
"Hm, I see. I guess it might not be stress then."
It is as if I am seeing something on a greater level today. I can see glimpses of something--
"...!"
Laura pulled him in and hugged him tightly.
With his head resting on her warm and soft chest, he forgot what he was thinking about.
"Do you ever have something you want to tell someone, but you cannot explain it?"
"Yes," she replied earnestly.
"Do you ever have something that you want to tell someone but cannot because you are scared?"
"Yes."
"Do you ever have anything you want to tell someone, but don't want to because you don't want to seem like you are fishing for attention and sympathy?"
"Ye--"
Laura widened her eyes in a worried manner.
She turned her face down at him and caressed his face.
"Is… Is there something you should be telling me? Something terrible that happened to you?"
"..."
"Hey, if there is something, then don't you dare hesitate to tell me. And don't be stupid, it's not fishing for attention or sympathy, so if it's something is bothering you, just say it. Even if I didn't know you any better, I would never think like this."
"..."
"When you said you cheated on me, sure, I was angry a little, but when you explained it, it made sense. So, no, I never thought or will think like that."
"I see… For a long time, I have been feeling like that. I tried to tell you but all you heard was a buzzing sound. I tried to tell others, but they heard nothing different. If I were to tell you that, no matter how bad it is, will you still stay by my side?"
Laura, taken back by the question, looked at the white wall opposite her as she thought.
She was not sure what he was really talking about or what kind of answer she will need to give.
Could it be… Could I always tell but the universe listened to my deepest wishes and made me unable to because I was scared? Nazar thought as his eyes slowly started to shut. Perhaps I should have told Laura before we came this far about… what… that….
His eyes closed and his vision blackened.
"I…"
Just as Laura was ready to answer, it was too late, he had already fallen asleep.
Deep down, she felt a little relieved but at the same time, she could not help but curse herself.
It was not an easy position to be put in, especially since she did not know what he genuinely wanted to say.
"..."
Laura looked down at sleeping face and smiled faintly.
"I will answer that when the times comes," she muttered.
What would be tell her, she wondered? Was it something terrible he did? Was it something bad he did to her?
She just wasn't sure what he wanted to tell her, and she did not want to promise him emptily and then turn around to say something else when the time comes.
"But I wonder---"
She vanished.
The world vanished.
The universe vanished.
"!!"
Nazar opened his eyes abruptly.
He looked around.
There was nothing but darkness.
He looked down and saw a comic book page.
"?"
Suddenly, the world Turned into something which was no different than a stream of hot water.
"The whole universe… and more?"
He swallowed his saliva.
"They aren't dead. I know that. No one is dead. But how do I know this?"
Instead of getting answers, more questions popped into his head.
"I am seeing the world from a different angle. It's words… Someone turned the universe into--"
The world returned to normal.
He was sitting on the bed, dazedly looking around.
Laura was sitting next to him.
"Hm? I thought you were sleeping."
"Never mind that, are you harmed?"
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
He was not sure how to explain it, but he tried.
“... I...”
Nazar scratched his cheek as he thought since he could not produce any answer.
“Hmm…!”
Nazar left the room in a hurry and went out, trying to check on his siblings and mother. He was worried they might be hurt.
However…
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
Nazar was standing in the room, facing Laura.
As if someone expanded the universe and moved him back into this place.
Did she not already say that?
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
“...”
He stared at Laura who repeated the same words with the same confused look on her face and same repeated movement.
I do not sense chronological energies, but what are these words? Why does it seem as if the universe has been turned into words?
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
“Huh? Wait, what’s...”
Come on, a question… Ah.
“In what city were you born?”
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
What the….
Nazar stood up in reflex.
He left the room.
“No, I am fine, never better,” Confused, Laura shook her head. “Why, did something happen?”
However, the universe returned to an earlier state. The time loop (?) was no longer present.
He was not affected by this, but it seems everyone else was.
“Everyone else…? Hm, who is doing this?”
“Don’t question it too much.”
A voice called out to him as a large black hole appeared in the room.
Someone, wearing dark robes to cover himself, walked through it.
“Should you not already know what this is?”
“You are…”
“Call me, X,” X placed his right hand on his left chest and bowed, “your destroyer.”

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
