Chapter 106
Arc 13- Public Enemy No.1 - Part 8
A dark room.
Kssh. Kssh. Kssh.
A bright computer screen.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.
A ticking clock.
Click. Click. Click.
The sound of the mouse.
Tak. Tak. Tak.
Hitting the keys on the keyboard.
The person leaned forward in the creaking chair.
"What is…"
Tap. Tap. Tap.
Creek. Creek. Creek.
Steps were coming closer.
The dark room grew larger.
Kssh. Kssh. Kssh.
The screen grew larger.
Pssh. Pssh. Pssh.
The mouse moved on its own.
Splrt. Splrt. Splrt.
The keyboard was turned into goo like thing.
"Huh?"
The young boy gulped as he slowly looked around.
Peek. Peek. Peek.
Behind the half-open creaking door, someone watched him.
"What is…"
Smirk.
Someone smiled as they took steps towards him.
"I will---"
Gulp.
He trailed off.
"Hehe."
Laughter.
"Hehe."
Evil laughter.
Zzzing.
Throughout the room, red eyes appeared.
Close. Open. Close. Open. Close. Open.
The crimson eyes closed and opened rapidly.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Dark liquid started to stream down in the room.
Sweat. Sweat. Sweat.
Gulp.
"Wh… Who…"
Click. Click. Click.
He slowly turned back at the computer before him.
"...Ah?"
The screen was showing a cartoon character skipping in green fields.
The happy cartoon character was stabbed to death by a dark looking figure and painted the green fields red with the character's blood.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
The dark red liquid started to come out of the screen.
Splrt. Splrt. Splrt.
He could hear the liquid dropping around him as a creaking sound of steps came closer. It was falling from the ceiling.
"Hehe."
Laughter.
"Hehe."
Evil laughter.
Don't look, thought the boy. It's evil, believed the boy.
*Huff*
Sound of heavy breathing could be heard above him.
Gulp.
He forced his body to move.
With the creaking voice of his neck, he tried to turn around.
Jolt!
His body tensed as two pair of hands touched his shoulders.
The cold hands sent a chill through his body.
"Why did you do it?"
Said a voice, a quiet yet cold voice.
"Why did you not…"
The person brought their face closer to the shaking boy's face.
"SAVE US?!"
SHRIEK!!
“!!”
Jolt!
His body jumped once the voice shouted in his ear.
Forcing his body to move, he looked at the face.
But…
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
As the face screamed at him...
"Ah… AHHHHHH!!!"
With a horrified look on his face, he looked at the small body with thousands of heads screaming at his soul.
"Sssssssaaaaavvvvvveeeeeeee ussssssssssssss!!!!!!"
Click. Click. Click.
From the corner of his eye, he noticed a picture of a kitten on the computer as the screen glitched.*
"DON'T LET USSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Stab. Stab. Stab.
Bite. Bite. Bite.
With just a blink, he found himself on the ground.
His head, laying on one side of the floor. His limbs in the other.
The boy could not even scream because a guillotine came down and split his head in half, horizontally.
"I loved you. Sssssssaaaaavvvvvveeeeeeee ussssssssssssss!!!!"
KRAKABOOOOOM!!!!**
Lighting broke through the roof.
The crimson eyes vanished.
The dark room vanished.
The world vanished.
Darkness. Darkness. Darkness.
Click.
Light. Light. Light.
Someone turned on the light of the world.
Wedding. Bride. Groom.
"Huh?"
Colourful world.
"Hey, Nazar," someone waved at him with a wide smile.
"Aram…" he spoke slowly to the groom.
*Come on, be happy. It's finally my wedding."
"Wedding…"
Nazar was not sure what was happening. This has already happened before. He has attended this wedding once already.
The groom wrapped one of his arms around Nazar's shoulder and spoke to him with a wide smile.
"You asked me why I am getting married, right?"
He already got his answer. It was a long time ago.
But even then, he nodded.
"You will know when you get married. It's hard to explain through mere words."
The exact same answer.
Originally, he frowned.
But now…
Jolt!
His body tensed up.
Everyone's faces were ripped apart in half.
Blood rained down on the colourful field, turning it red.
"You let me die, Nazar!!"
Aram, the groom tried to bite Nazar's face off with his wide mouth.
"Save us!"
Said all of them in unison as they shot themselves towards him.
Under the red bloody sky, he fell to the ground.
Crack. Crack. Crack.
When his back touched the ground, it started to break apart.
All of them fell to darkness.
But their screaming continued.
"Save ussss!!!"
Everyone was trying to reach their hand towards Nazar.
"Take our hand and save us."
As the zombie-like friends of his withered out of existence, the darkness overtook everything.
Darkness.
Darkness.
Darkn--
Light.
Slowly but surely, the light increased.
Gasp.
Nazar sat up in his bed as he took a few deep breaths.
With his right hand, he covered the right side of his face.
"A dream, huh…?"
Nazar held his heart in his hand.
“!!”
He struggled to breathe.
(What is… What the hell is happening TO MEEEEE?!?!)
Suddenly, he vanished into thin air.
“Hm?”
Laura, who had one towel wrapped around her body, tilted her head in a confused manner.
“That was… odd,” she said as she wiped her hair with another towel.
လလလ
Away from Earth, Nazar was flying very fast in the dark space.
His body was leaking out dark energies.
(No, no, no, no, no, no, nooo!!!!)
Throughout his body, he was feeling pain.
It wasn’t physical.
(These emotions… These negative emotions… These are not mine. Then why...)
He clenched his fist.
(Why am I feeling these emotions? It’s not mine! So, why sh-- Argh!)
Feeling unimaginable anger, he slowed down and punched one of the planets.
Reducing his durability, he stood at the centre of the planet.
(Why…. Aarin, why… What happened?)
With his human-like durability, he took the explosion at point-blank. It calmed him down slightly as he felt physical pain.
(Aarin… Is she okay-- Ack?)
With physical pain vanishing, he started to feel intense emotional pain once again.
The planet was slowly being rebuilt around him.
(What is… Why am… If I… No-- Argh! Damn it!!)
He made his way to the surface of the empty planet.
Nazar took his human form.
However, the pain did not vanish.
He changed into his angel form.
However, the pain worsened.
These negative emotions swelled up within him.
(Wait...) he thought as his form returned to normal.
He tried to turn off his emotions.
But it did not work. He couldn’t turn off his emotions.
(Aarin…)
Most of his life, he built a close relationship with Aarin. She is one of the few people he trusts more than himself.
But it seems that backfired on him.
(Why…?)
With his fingers, he formed a finger gun and held it to his temple.
Channelling all of his power into his fingers, he shot himself in the head.
With his brains splattered across the surface of the planet, he died.
But, within a second, his body recreated itself and gasped for breath.
“What the…?”
Nazar could stay dead for as long as he wanted to in the Void.
However, “Aarin… You can block...”

He looked at his shaking palm.
“Since when can you manipulate life and death?!” he shouted out in a frustrated manner.
He has known Aarin for many years. She has always been by his side. They know the full extent of their powers.
Yet he is struggling to understand how she can stop him from staying dead. She did not have such an ability before.
He lied down on the ground.
Cowering up, he closed his eyes.
Every minute, the negative emotions within him were constantly increasing. He was feeling unimaginable anger, fear, hatred, jealousy and more.
But he could do nothing about it except for cowering down in fear on this empty planet.
The negative emotions were eating him from the inside.
“Die! Leave me alone… I hate you… Please...”
With every word, different emotions came out. Anger, fear, anxiety, hatred and more.
He wanted to let these emotions out.
Doing that, however, could cause destruction on a level never seen before.
“The hate…”
Someone spoke on this empty plane.
No one should be here, Nazar thought. It’s impossible for someone to be here. This planet is uninhabitable.
“The anger and the jealousy...”
Hearing the familiar, yet cold voice, he slowly opened his eyes.
“The fear of the Ultraverse is being channelled through you, God.”
He chuckled.
“I never expected Aarin to have such power. Impressive.”
Nazar tried to sit up.
However, before he could move, the person kicked him in the head, throwing him to the other side of the planet.
“Look at you...”
Before Nazar could recover, this person picked him up by his neck.
“Look at how pathetic you have come, God.”
Nazar did not even bother to free himself.
“Arael...”
“You have disappointed me enough, God.”
Arael, the God of Power. The man with the power of every being - on the same level or below him - ever in the Ultraverse.***
“I shouldn’t be surprised, yet I am.”
He swung his hand and punched Nazar in the face.
“What do you have to say to yourself, God?”
Arael and Nazar have been close friends for many years.
Nazar hates it when people refer to him as “God”.
He reached that state via manipulations of others, not of his own intentions.
So, he hates being referred to as such.
However, Nazar is never bothered when Arael refers to him as God.
“Or have you fallen so low you can’t even speak?”
The answer is simple: Arael only refers to him as “God” when he is looking down on Nazar.
“Shut up...” Nazar said slowly.
“What was that, you pathetic God?”
Arael threw Nazar at a nearby sun.
Flying through the sun, Nazar clicked his tongue.
“It doesn’t even hurt...”
On the empty planet, Arael shot himself towards space, causing the surface of the planet to break apart.
Closing the distance between them, an energy ball appeared in Arael’s hand.
“Answer me, you filth!”
Over the course of his life, Nazar has died millions of times. Every time he returns from the dead, he is stronger.
There is a drawback to each death, though. His soul gets damaged with each death.
“Your soul is broken beyond repair. It's broken into smaller pieces than a grain of sand.”
Arael stabbed the energy ball into Nazar’s chest.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”
Nazar screamed in pain.
“SOUL DESTRUCTION!”
The remaining soul of Nazar was destroyed like a glass.
He no longer had a soul.
Floating in the cold of space, Nazar was staring at the faraway stars.
Arael clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“Why are you making yourself...”
The dark space turned into chains and ripped apart Nazar into small pieces.
“VULNERABLE TO ME?!?!”
Nazar’s body repair itself immediately.
“WHY?!”
From Arael’s mouth, fire came out and burnt Nazar’s body parts.
Arael took a few breaths.
He watched closely as Nazar’s body was repaired.
Arael grinned.
With a twitch of his hand, a black hole appeared and swallowed Nazar.
“Ready to disappoint me again, God?”
The black hole vanished.
Nazar was standing in front of Arael.
“You took the very thing from which gave me some form of closure,” Nazar spoke while grinding his teeth.
Seeing the angry look on his face, “I did,” Arael said with a proud look on his face.
“You do realise this is a temporary panacea, right?”
“Of course. You are God. You can do anything if you choose to do. Yet you choose not to.”
“Why did you do it, Arael?”
Arael shrugged.
"Fight me with everything you have. All cards on the table."
He spread his arms wide.
"The man who has the power of everyone and none of their weaknesses versus…"
He narrowed his eyes.
"A pathetic loser of a God who can't do anything."
Nazar clicked his tongue.
"What do you say, God?"
"I--"
"Ahhh. But you can't refuse. You must battle me."
"And why should I do that?"
Nazar realised something, with every word that came out of Arael's mouth, the negative emotions within him swelled up.
“If you don’t, I will have to kill the Angel of Love.”
Nazar inhaled sharply.
Although he is in this state because of Aarin, there is no way he can hate her. And there is no way in hell he would let her die. He would do anything to save her because he cares for her.
“And...”
Arael grinned.
"I have broken the taboo. Don't you want to know what I have become?" he said with his arms spread wide.
Nazar's eyes widened.
"We have fought many times over the years. We have always fought as a joke. But now…"
In Arael's palm, a spherical dark and grey energy ball appeared.
"Let's fight seriously for once. No weaknesses. No holding back."
The sphere started to turn white slowly.
"Is that…?"
"Yes. A new Ultraverse in the palm of my hands."
It is not easy to create such thing with ease. It requires energy, focus, knowledge, and more to craft such a masterpiece.
But that's not all. Only certain people with certain abilities can create something of this calibre.
Angels and Gods - aside from Lucifer and Michael - can never even dream of making such thing.
But Arael did it.
"Cool, right?"
However, Nazar noticed something. Arael made it right in front of him. It took mere seconds to craft such a masterpiece.
It had taken the Supreme One a long time to make this Ultraverse. Yet Arael did it in a very short time.
Nazar gulped.
Of course, Nazar can create many but he chooses not to.
But what surprised him the most was; how does Arael know what an "Ultraverse" is?
"An Ultraverse with infinite universes and dimensions. An Ultraverse with many higher dimensional spaces. Now…"
This term was only known to a few and Arael was not one of them.
"Let's fight, God. Let's see who is superior. Let's decide this once and for all, loser."
Nazar glanced at the white spherical energy.
"None of us shall hold back. We fight with every card we have. Do you accept?"
He looked at Arael and nodded.
Both of them vanished into the small white spherical energy.
လလလ
Inside a dark dimension, Michael was floating in a sitting position. In his palm, he was holding small energy cubes.
These small cubes were made from rainbow colours and were moving around his hand.
While moving, it produced chirping noise.
Suddenly, the dark space was ripped apart like it was a piece of paper.
“Oh?”
From the ripped space, someone walked in.
“What a pathetic place,” said the man as he looked around with a disgusted look on his face.
“What do you want...”
Michael narrowed his eyes.
“Lucifer?”
The first angel, Lucifer smiled thinly in return.
“I am here to speak to your owner.”
Michael chuckled.
“I have no owner, puppet.”
Lucifer let out a small laugh.
“Anyway, what’s that in your hand?”
“Ultroids,” he replied immediately. “The ultimate weapon against “God”. In theory, it works similar to his “Black Universe”. It should turn him into a human and then I can kill him. But...”
Michael looked down.
“But your master wants the opposite, doesn’t she?”
Michael raised his head and smiled.
“You seem to have a pretty good idea about her, huh?”
“Emily told me about her.”
Michael tilted her head a little.
“Emily… Emily…? Emily? Oh, Emily!”
It took Michael a while to realise who Emily was.
It is not odd since he is yet to meet her.
Even then, Lucifer let out a small sigh and asked an important question.
“Why is she looking for a specific time slot?”
Michael landed on the ground.
“The other person she is working with… It’s his plan.”
Lucifer opened his mouth but before he could say anything, Michael continued.
“I am afraid, I can’t tell you that.”
Michael shot out his silver metallic wings.
“I see,” Lucifer understood.
From Lucifer back, six wings shot out.
“Where is your master?”
Above Michael’s head, a silver metallic halo appeared.
“This is my space. She lives on a higher plane than us.”
Above Lucifer’s head, a white halo appeared.
“Oh.”
On the left side of Lucifer’s head, a dark red horn appeared.
“What about the sins?”
A faint golden light covered Lucifer, including his white halo.
“They are dealing with another nuisance.”
“Who… !”
Lucifer widened his eyes once he realised who it was.
“I see.”
“Don’t tell him, okay?”
Lucifer thought about it for a minute.
Why would Lucifer tell “him”? They are not very close, to begin with. And this won’t cause Lucifer any problems.
Lucifer nodded.
Michael on the other hand...
“I am sorry, Lucy but...”
Seeing the thin smile on his face, Lucifer wondered what was going on.
“I will not be the one fighting you.”
Behind Michael, someone else appeared.
In this infinitely dark place, her purple eyes glowed.
In this windless dark place, her silver hair flapped.
“I will take it from here, Michael.”
Nodding, he slipped into the darkness.
“So, we finally meet, Lord Lucifer.”
Lucifer, who has faced many powerful individuals, suddenly felt himself freeze in his place because of fear.
“I was sure all of these...”
She looked around with a disappointed look on her face.
“Hideouts were kept hidden. I am surprised you found it.”
Pushing aside his fears, Lucifer plastered a brave smile on his face.
“Turns out, you never expected me.”
“Haha,” her peaceful laugh was hiding a lot of evils behind it.
“A lot of people seem to overlook me these days,” Lucifer muttered to himself.
Her giggles were soon replaced by a serious face.
“What will you do with us now? Fight us? Which will not end well for you, if I am being frank.”
“No...” he shook his head. “I would rather we form a pact here.”
“Oh?”
“Leave us out of it. Battle with him all you want, but leave us out of it.”
She let out a sigh.
“No,” she said with a cold voice, rejecting his proposal.
“Of course, it was not supposed to be easy.”
“I will never form a pact with you, so throw away that childish endeavour,” and so she moved.
In the face of a more powerful enemy, Lucifer, however, smiled thinly.
“I am not as weak as my brother.”
As the two God-like beings clashed, Null, the infinite darkness groaned in pain.
