Chapter 32 - Rise of the Demon King - Part 2
Inside the castle of the king, in a large bedroom, Nazar, while sitting on the bed, was looking at a dark horse with red glowing eyes and a knight in black armour that was riding the horse while holding her head under her arm.
“A… Dullahan?”
Nazar stood up on the floor.
“You can’t be real… An illusion? Hm. No, it's not an illusion.”
Nazar analysed the scene before him.
He also analysed the dark energies this being was giving off.
“It feels like demonic magic. But different.”
Nazar remembered something.
Not too long ago, he felt similar energy from somewhere else.
“That demon… Interesting.”
Nazar went close to this being.
“So, what are you doing here?”
“You are God, are you not?”
The Dullahan spoke in a cold tone.
“You are the creator, are you not?”
“Interesting.”
Nazar just stared at the Dullahan.
“I have never met anyone before me who can tell that straight away. Not even the great angels or Gods.”
The Dullahan got off her horse and stood in front of Nazar.
She started to hold her head with both of her hands and raise it a little.
“I am Areo, the Dullahan. The first Dullahan.”
“Who created you?”
“The Demon King.”
“There is no such being as the ‘Demon King’.”
“But there is. Demon King is the king of the demons. He came into existence recently.”
Nazar’s eyes widened in surprise.
“A being of that calibre coming into existence… That is not possible. Only I have the power to create a new concept. Unless we are talking about completely different things.”
“No, God,” the Dullahan said as she shook her head using her two hands, “we are talking about the same thing.”
An alarming expression appeared on Nazar’s face.
“A few days ago, a new being appeared. He is dubbed Hell’s Lucifer. He is of a similar existence as Lucifer.”
(No, no, no.) Nazar thought to himself as he shook his head and lowered his gaze. (That’s not possible. Only I can create concepts like that. Even if Arosus does it, I would know about it ... !!)
Nazar raised his head slightly and analysed the Dullahan’s energies.
(The Dragon?!?!)
“What is the matter, God?”
(That’s… No, he is not around. Then who? And by Lucifer of Hell, do they mean…?)
A serious expression appeared on his face.
With red glowing eyes, he took the head of the Dullahan and stared it down.
“Tell me.”
“What would you like to know?”
“Who is the Demon King? How did he come to existence? And how does he compare against Lucifer? Who are you? And why are you here?”
“The Demon King is the newest demon in existence. No one knows how he came into existence but what we all know is that he is to demons what Lucifer is to the angels.”
Surprised, Nazar sat on the bed while holding the Dullahan's head in his hand.
“So, he has all the power of the demons?”
“Yes.”
“... Continue.”
“I am a creation of the Demon King. The purpose of the Dullahans is to approach a dying person and take their soul to Hell.”
“Hm? Why? Souls go to limbo on their own. Then after they are judged by demons and angels alike, they are taken to Hell. After they for their sins, they are sent to Heaven by the angels. So, why do you need to exist?”

“I must clarify.”
She cleared her throat.
“We are created to take the souls of those who refuse to enter the afterlife or cannot enter Hell and Heaven. The bodies of powerful beings will no longer go to the Void, but it will instead go to Hell.”
“What?”
“And I came here to tell you this. As a God, you need to be aware of these changes. We all thought you were already aware of this but since you didn’t bother to come to Hell, I was told to give you the news.”
Nazar stood up and threw the head towards the body.
She caught her own head with two hands.
”I first went to Earth since I noticed your energy there. But I later found out that you had used a decoy.”
(Huh? She already found out that Solace has the same energy signature as me? And she also knows that I used her as a decoy? Uwah! These beings are on another level.)
On the surface, he looked very serious.
But deep down, he was starting to feel very excited.
It is one of Nazar's worst traits. Having lived for so long, he has become very bored. So, world-threatening events like these can be exciting for him.
“Come to Hell. As a God, you must meet your rival.”
Nazar’s eyes slightly widened.
“Rival? Demons, angels and Gods exist on the same field - below me. They are not my rivals. I am their superior.”
“Ah, you misunderstand, God.”
She used one of her hands to hold the head and use the other to wave her hand in front of her chest.
“He is not a demon. He is a Demon King.”
Dumbfounded, Nazar scratched his head.
“He is created especially to be your rival. Remember God and the Devil from mythologies or religion?”
“I don’t get this...”
Nazar sat on the bed once more with a depressed expression.
“I never created that kind of being, though.”
“He was created by someone to be your rival. As for why and how… Neither I nor my master knows it.”
She got back on top of the horse.
“My job here is done.”
She bowed slightly.
“Hopefully you meet us soon.”
And just like that, she vanished into thin air.
But before she vanished, Nazar saw a portal open and it swallowed her.
He lay back on the bed and sighed deeply.
“What the fuck?”
“Nazar?” Solace materialised from thin air after a few seconds.
“Did you go to Earth recently?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“I… Anyway, I felt that weird energy from here. Do you know anything about it?”
Nazar sighed as he explained the story to her.
“Oh,” was Solace’s only response.
Nazar stood up from the bed and stretched his arms.
“I will need to figure out what’s going on. I asked Baros to take some time off and I want you to take care of his duties. And of course, your own too.”
“Oh, okay.”
Nazar prepared to open a portal.
“I will need to meet Lucifer and then go to Hell. If anything comes up, contact me immediately.”
A large portal appeared in the room.
“Okay. Got it!”
Nazar walked towards the portal.
“I will also go to Heaven and 6th dimensional plane of existence. I need to see what other things have changed.”
Nazar stopped and looked back.
“Also, if you are hiding something from me...”
Hearing Nazar’s serious tone, Solace’s shoulders tensed up.

Of course, she doesn’t feel it herself but Nazar saw it.
“It won’t end well for you.”
“O-okay.”
Nazar walked through the portal and went somewhere else.
Alone, Solace sat on the bed.
“Why did I value my promise to Laura more than Nazar? I guess I will need to break that promise soon...”
လလလ
In another dimension, Nazar walked out of the portal.
A small dimension created by Lucifer as his own personal base.
Once Nazar appeared in this small dimension, he found himself standing on top of green grass under a blue sky and a sun that never sets.
Looking around, he saw thousands of different types of flowers, some of which he has never seen before.
Walking for a few minutes, Nazar found himself standing in front of a massive mansion.
Nazar didn’t sense Lucifer’s presence inside the mansion, so he walked towards the south of the dimension.
After a few more minutes of walking, the green grassy ground and the flowers were replaced by a sandy beach.
On the beach, a blonde angel with red eyes was sitting, looking at the blue water in front of him that seemed to stretch until the end of the cosmos.
“What brings you here, Nazar?”
Lucifer didn't even look back at Nazar.
"Do you know about the Demon King?"
"No."
"That's odd."
"Hm, is it?"
Nazar sighed.
"Yes, it is. Do you know what I am talking about?"
"No, not really."
Nazar sat next to him.
"Do you know what a Dullahan is?"
"Creatures which were used at the start of creation to take dead souls to the afterlife. However, I got rid of them once we found a more efficient method."
Nazar looked at him in shock.
"They are not mythical creatures?!"
Lucifer chuckled.
"When I created humanity about 30,000 years ago, I placed a lot of knowledge as a form of mythology or fiction."
"Whaaaaaaaaaattttttt?"
Lucifer nodded.
"Dullahans are real. Seven Deadly Sins are real. Demon King is real. What else is real? I mean, are Norse Gods and Greek Gods also real?"
"Who knows?" Lucifer said with a thin smile. "Who knows?"
Nazar sucked in a breath and started explaining what the Dullahan told him.
"So, you got a rival? Good for you."
Nazar sighed deeply at Lucifer's quick reply.
"So, what are you going to do?"
Nazar stood up.
"I am going to Hell. I will see what this being is and hopefully it's something……. "
Lucifer looked at Nazar who trailed off.
"Is it bad that I am actually enjoying this?"
"Yeah, definitely."
Nazar stared at the water before him for a few minutes in silence.
"Hey…"
"What?"
"Where is Arosus? I haven't seen him in 10 years."
Lucifer looked at him blankly in reflex.
"Now look here…"
Nazar looked at Lucifer who somehow seemed a little annoyed.
"He is you. You are him. So, how in the hell am I supposed to know that?"
"Ah. That's… that's a good point."
Nazar started to open a portal.
"So you came here just to tell me that? Stop ruining my peace."
"Eh, it will affect you too. So, I wanted to make sure that you know of being. Because if he is actually my rival, then he might be able to kill you. And if you die, everything dies."
"Thanks. But I can take care of myself."
Nazar opened a portal and started to walk towards it.
"Wait. One more question."
Nazar looked back.
"How is…"
Lucifer seemed hesitant to ask him the question.
"Never mind."
Nazar frowned.
"Tell me or I am not leaving this place. And that will ruin your peace."
Lucifer sighed.
He knows how annoying Nazar can get when he puts his mind to it.
"How is Aarin doing these days?"
A grin appeared on Nazar's face.
"Oh my, oh my. What is this? Are you finally getting interested in my beloved sister?"
"She is not your sister!"
Lucifer was not wrong.
Nazar and Aarin are not related by blood.
But they always saw each other as siblings.
"And I am not getting interested. I was just asking."
"Just say you love her."
Lucifer looked at Nazar in reflex as he shot a beam of energy towards Nazar.
Nazar, still thinking he can't get hurt, didn't bother dodging.
But.
"Argh! That hurt," he said out loud while laughing.
With a serious look on his face, Lucifer asked, "Did you just feel pain?"
Nazar nodded.
Lucifer seemed shocked by Nazar's answer.
"Long story short--"
"I don't really care."
Nazar turned around and waved.
"I am going to tell Aarin you asked about her. And then send her here so you two can get all lovey-dovey with one another."
"Wait!"
Before Lucifer could even say that, the portal had vanished.
Seeing that, his shoulders drooped in a depressing manner.

The 4th dimensional plane of existence, Hell:
This existence is divided into many different planes of existence.
When the original creator, the Supreme One - in other words, God - created the universe, it couldn't sustain life.
After a lot of experimentation, God created another plane of existence on top of the first one. This one, however, couldn't contain life either.
After some time, God created another plane of existence on top of the 2nd dimensional plane of existence. This one could sustain life.
It became the third plane of existence. This plane of existence contains the earth, moon, Milky Way Galaxy and the whole universe.
Over time, God made another plane of existence on top of the 3rd.
That became Hell. It is a place where the demons live.
To create a place for the angels, God created Heaven, which exists on top of Hell.
There are many Heavens and Hells. One Heaven and Hell which contains the demons and angels and other Hells and Heavens which contains the souls of the dead.
Then he created three more planes of existence on top of the 5th plane of existence.
The 6th plane of existence became the base of the Gods. They were angels who were sacrificed to increase Michael's power when Lucifer officially went rogue and became a Fallen Angel. The dead angels were given a chance to become Gods. And they took it.
The 7th-dimensional plane gave birth to a being of immense power - Aiht, the Negative God. This was also the place in which the Nameless One lived for millions of years to try and recover his energies.
And finally, the 8th dimensional plane of existence. This place is Nazar's. He is the only being from this place. The being born of the highest plane of existence.
There is a rule in this existence. If a being from a lower plane of existence enters a higher plane of existence, they will be shredded to pieces - in both body and soul. They will die. There will be no afterlife for them. That will be the end of them.
Right now, in a fiery Hell full of demons, Nazar appeared out of thin air.
Looking in front of him, thousands of demons were kneeling before a massive four headed demons that could be seen from thousands of miles. The four heads were stuck together back to back and were facing different directions.
This massive demon looked like it was easily over a hundred miles tall and over 70 meters wide.
A red demon with red eyes and grey wings was sitting on what looked like a throne.
Nazar could feel the dangerous aura around the Demon King. His energies were nearly on the same level as Lucifer.
"The Demon King, huh?"
Nazar muttered to himself slowly as he walked through the hordes of demons who were kneeling before this Demon King.
"Welcome, God."
A very loud voice can be heard in Hell.
Nazar felt the red fiery mountains shake in distant.
The demons felt the red fiery ground beneath their feet tremble.
"You are the Demon King?"
Nazar knew that but he wanted to confirm anyway.
"Yes, my rival."
The Demon King spread its arms.
As it did, a gust of wind was produced.
It was so powerful that some of the most powerful demons felt like they will lose their footing and be washed away by this wind.
"Welcome to the new Hell."
A roar rang out in Hell as it shook to its core.
"Interesting."
Was the only thing this new God said as he smiled thinly.
