Chapter 27 - The Hero - Part 6
Planet Kryran - Sombrero Galaxy:
“This could be fun,” he muttered to himself.
Nazar was floating above a city of an advanced planet filled with nothing but chaos.
He looked down at the city and tries to determine what was going on.
(The core of the planet is destabilizing?) Nazar thought to himself.
He smiled thinly to himself.
“It will take me a few seconds to fix this whole world… but should I?”
Nazar thought about it.
Should he save this world?
(What is in it for me? In my Ion form, it’s impossible for me to leave this like this or do evil… but not in this form. So, why should I?)
The people in the city were running around in random directions.
There were no police forces to keep peace on this planet.
In fact, Nazar saw them running confused in random directions too.
He let out a sigh.
“I guess I should find out more about how this happened and then save them? The planet still has a few days.”
Nazar looked around.
လလလ
After a few minutes and hundreds of miles away, Nazar was facing someone in what looked like an advanced weapons lab. In this lab, there were dozens of types of weapons Nazar had not seen.
It was a tall person with features that resembled a human but it was not a human.
It had a humanoid silhouette but the rest of the features were the same as robots.
The outer appearance of this being was a combination of green armour and grey skin.
“/You want to know what is happening on this world, Nazar?/”
Nazar nodded.
Nazar was a little surprised that this being knew him.
“/Yes, I want to know, Kryran Alpha./”
They were speaking in binary codes.
“/We are a race called Kryrans. We are artificially created beings created by the Vanaha Empire as a form of experimentation. Our role in the great Empire of Vanaha is to provide them with technology that they cannot create themselves. But it’s also our job to give them the lost knowledge which they cannot find by themselves. Furthermore, we hold all knowledge of Vanaha Empire./”
(Vanaha Empire… So, the reason he knew me was because of my close connections to its king, King Kiet? Well, this certainly is interesting… I didn’t know they had this kind of planet under their rule.)
“/Oh?/”
“/We also ‘decipher’ information to them which they cannot understand with their primitive mind and knowledge./”
“/Why are they not helping you? Saving you?/”
“/It is because we found out about this recently. Very recently. We have sent a message but reinforcements have not arrived yet./”
Nazar wondered, why did they not figure this out earlier?
“/You must be thinking why we did not figure this out earlier, right?/”
Nazar was surprised at how perceptive this being was.
“/Someone blew it up today. This planet could sustain life for at least twenty thousand teta cycles./”
“/Teta cycles?/”
“/Calculating…/”
Nazar watched closely as this being did its calculation in mere seconds.
“/On a primitive such as Earth, it would equal to 127,845,938 years./”
Nazar’s eyes widened slowly.
“/Interesting./”
Nazar thought about who might want to destroy this world.
Then he remembered something.
(If what this being said, it’s because they hold too much knowledge. Vanaha Empire is one of the largest empires in the whole universe with thousands of planets and smaller empires under its rule. Their technological might is something which is respected in the cosmos. And if these beings hold their knowledge, then the number of suspects can equal to billions.)

The being watched as Nazar thought this time.
(If we take individuals out, it will narrow down the list to over 1.1 million empires/groups who would want to take down this planet. But!)
Nazar looked at the being before him.
“/Was anything stolen?/”
The being closed it eyes momentarily.
“/Let me tap into Kry Giga - it’s our central database./”
"/Wait. Isn't Kry Giga located on Xiem, Vanaha's throne world?/"
"/Yes. But we have a copy of it here too./"
"/Ohhh./"
Nazar's mouth opened wide open as he remembered something.
"/I was told about their knowledge being held in Kry Giga. And I also remember them telling me about a race of Artificial Intelligence. Now it makes sense./"
Nazar waited for this being to finish whatever he was doing.
"/There doesn't seem to be any indications of stolen data as of yet./"
"/Interesting./"
Nazar noticed something.
"/You are a being who is devoid of emotions, right?/"
"/That is correct./"
"/Then why was there commotion outside? It is illogical to act like that if you don’t have emotions. Am I wrong?/"
"/No, Nazar, you are not wrong. The reason for the commotion outside because the majority of this world is filled with scholars, scientists and explorers from Vanaha Empire. As primitive beings go, they don't seem to understand the basic notion of waiting. Isn't that correct, Nazar?/"
"/Uh, not so sure about that, mate./"
“/So, they are trying to run for their lives while not paying attention to what they are doing. Which leads to commotion. Primitive beings./”
Nazar snickered.
“/Anyway, let me take care of this. You let others know that everything will be fine./”
“/I will let them know. And thank you./”
Nazar smiled as he flew up.
Flying above the planet, Nazar noticed the many different races who were living on this planet.
There were a lot of the natives - Kryrans but as the Kryran Alpha said earlier, most of them were people from other planets from the Vanaha Empire.
“I guess I shall take a closer look at the planet’s core.”
As soon as he said that, Nazar vanished into thin and appeared near the core of the planet.
Looking at the core of the planet, it looked like it will blow up soon. There were cracks everywhere.
"Someone has increased the heat temperatures. Hm, but who could have done it?"
The temperature at the core was much higher than normal. It was comparable to the sun.
Nazar was standing on the lava at the centre of this planet. It was boiling hot but he was not feeling it at all.
“But a planet can’t blow up because of this much heat. There is something wrong. Something else--”
Nazar trailed off as he heard a phone call.
Being millions of light years away from earth and his clothes were blown off not too long ago, so how is he able to receive a call?
Nazar reached into his pocket and picked up a phone.
“Now, let’s see who it is.”
He took out the phone and looked at the caller ID.
“Emma?”
Nazar took a deep breath before answering.
“- Took you long enough, bitch. -”
“In my defence, I am in another galaxy and at the core of a dying planet.”
“- Oh, I see--- Wait, what?! -”
Emma sounded surprised. Nazar could also feel a little excitement in her voice.
“- How? -”
“Universe manipulation. A power which allows me to manipulate the very universe itself..”

“- ……….. -”
“Hello?”
“- Uh… Um… I didn’t get anything you just said. -”
Nazar sighed deeply.
“Okay, so… You see, with this power, I can manipulate everything within this universe. So, when you called, I answered your call.”
Not getting a reply from Emma, Nazar knew she was confused.
“Okay, let me explain it as best as I can. After my phone disintegrated, I recreated after recreating my clothes. Once I did that, I ‘placed’ my phone on Earth while it is in my pocket. Basically, the phone is in a small ‘earth’ which is inside my pocket.”
“- The fuck? -”
Nazar sighed deeply.
“It’s complicated to explain to others.”
“- Sigh. Anyway, you said something about… about… Ah, yes. You said something about being in another galaxy? And at the… What was that? -”
“I am in the Sombrero Galaxy.”
“- That’s so-- -”
All of a sudden, from the thin air, Emma appeared.
“Cool…? Wait, where the fuck am I?”
She was wearing a red sundress with yellow flowers on it.
She could not see it, but Nazar could see an energy field around her which he placed around her before teleporting her here.
“At the core of a planet known as Kryran. It is in the Sombrero Galaxy.”
“O-oh cool...”
Emma slowly looked around.
Looking around, she was looking at something that resembled lava.
“AAAHHH!!”
She shouted and Nazar’s body tensed up.
“I am gonna burn…”
Nazar rolled his eyes.
(I take back my worry.)
“Wait, why am I not burning?”
“Let me explain, dumbass,” Nazar said as he smacked her on the head.
“Ow.”
Nazar smiled lightly.
“So, I basically manipulated the space around you. You are here but you are also not here. For example, you are here but the environment around you is the same as earth. So, your surrounding is still of the earth but you are not on earth. I would try explaining this but that would confuse you or even worse, freak you out. So, let’s just go with teleportation for now.”
“So, that’s why I am not feeling the heat of this place?”
Nazar nodded.
“Ah, I see.”
Emma walked around in this boiling core of the planet.
Nazar watched as she walked around without a worry.
Of course, she won’t feel it at all but Nazar wanted to keep a close eye on her. What if the other person does something to her? Will he be able to save her?
Nazar slowly shook his head as he threw away all those thoughts.
As she was walking, Nazar noticed something under her feet.
“Oh, what is this?”
“What do you mean?”
“Anyway, don’t move.”
“O-okay,” she said as she gulped.
He went close to her and looked down.
“Oh?”
Beneath the lava, she saw what looked like blue light underneath the lava. It was not very noticeable but Nazar could feel an energy from it which shouldn't exist in this place.
Nazar’s finger twitched and from the lava, he picked up something. It was a rectangular metal with nothing on top of it.
Emma looked at it as she tilted her head in confusion.
“Why is not burning if its metal?”
“Dark matter bomb.”
“Wait, dark matter is real?”
Nazar looked at her blankly and then sighed.
“I wonder what’s up with this bomb. It will blow up as soon as I try to dismantle it.”
Emma looked at him with a confused expression.
“What?”
“Inside of this metal casket, there is a small device. If I try dismantling it, it will blow up.”
Emma scratched her head furiously.
“But you didn’t even… I don’t know, do ANYTHING?!”
Nazar sighed deeply.
“Listen here, child. I am extremely power--- Oh, that could work.”
In an instant, it disintegrated into nothingness.
“That should-- Oh, what?”
The bomb had vanished.
But.
“It came back?!”
“Oh, this is fun.”
Emma looked at him disgust.
“Its bomb. What’s so fun about it?”
“N-nothing.”
Emma looked down.
“Anyway, can I please stay with you for today? I kind of want to see--”
“Yeah, sure.”
She looked at him excitedly.
“Really?”
“Y-yeah.”
Seeing a very enthusiastic look on her face, Nazar was taken back a little.
Nazar looked at the bomb.
He slashed his hand and a small doorway to a dark dimension opened. He threw the bomb into it.
As soon as the bomb was out of here, the temperature of this place went back to normal immediately.
Nazar noticed it but he didn't pay my attention to it.
“Prepare for teleportation.”
“Woah, really?”
“I can practically see stars in your eyes,” Nazar muttered to himself.
Nazar looked around.
“Shouldn’t be so hard to save this world.”
Despite the bomb not being here, and the temperature going back to normal, Nazar used his absolute restoration power to restore the planet's core.
The world was saved. The core of the planet was no longer breaking apart. And the bomb was no longer here either.
“That’s how you save a world.”
Emma looked at him blankly because she had no idea what happened.
With a twitch of his hand, they both appeared above the city.
Emma was not sure how she was floating but instead of hearing Nazar’s boring and confusing explanation, she just thought it was some other mumbo jumbo and didn’t really bother asking him.
So, instead, she looked around.
“Alien planets are……… honestly, I was expecting it to look different.”
She was disappointed with what she saw.
Tall buildings are not very impressive.
"What were you expecting?"
"I… don't know, honestly."
"I will take you to another planet. A planet which is hundreds of times cooler than this."
"Oh, really? When?"
Seeing the excited look on her face, Nazar just signed.
He thought he made the wrong call by promising he will show her a much better world.
It's not that he doesn't know a better planet but he is not sure if he wants to take her there.
"Where are we going now?"
Nazar looked around.
"I am waiting for someone who should be here any minute now. And then we will go and find the culprit. He said he is close-by."
"Oh?"
“Well… It’s politics if I am being honest. To show them that I have well intentions about their empire. And also because he is a friend. So, I will find the culprit and take him to their empire. Show them that their world is safe.”
Emma stared at him blankly.
“Politics, huh? You wouldn’t save them if you didn’t gain anything political from it?”
Nazar looked at her in reflex.
“No, no," Nazar said as he frantically waved his hands before him. "I was going to save them. I promise. Not everything is politics for me.”
“Yeah, right.”
“I might be a king of an alien empire but I will save people when they are in trouble. I promise. Not everything is politics for me.”
Emma was not sure if he was telling the truth.
Nazar bit his tongue a little.
He knew that she did not believe him completely, but he wanted to use this opportunity to clear up something else too.
“Look, Emma. I know when I told you I am a god and what not… But I want you to know one thing about me...”
Emma looked Nazar in the eyes.
“I might be a god who created everything but even till this day, I have rejected my godhood. I can do anything, that is true… But I have not accepted my godhood. And I don’t think I will any time soon. I would rather have someone else take that position instead of me.”
“...Huh?”
Emma was not sure how to take it.
“And when I healed everyone on Earth… I couldn’t just leave it be. I was put in a… a difficult situation - if you will.”
“So, that was you...”
Emma said slowly and Nazar chose to ignore her.
(I called because I wanted to ask you about... but so it was you.) Emma thought to herself.
She couldn't help but feel a little happy.
“I want to leave things the way they are. I don’t want to interfere with them as a god… but as I said, I was put in a difficult situation the other day.”
Emma just stared at him.
“As for the new superhumans appearing… Yes, that’s on--”
“I am not sure about the politics part…”
Nazar heard a voice from behind him.
A familiar voice.
“But it is true about godhood.”
Emma looked at where the voice was coming from but noticed that Nazar was blocking her view.
“He hasn’t accepted his godhood and might never do it.”
She moved to her right a little and saw a muscular man who seemed to be as tall as Nazar.
The man stood at 1.78 meters tall.
He had blonde hair with green eyes. His hair was not too long nor too short.
The man was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.
Emma looked down at his feet and noticed he was also wearing black trainers which were from Earth.
She looked at him in confusion as if she tried to recall something.
“As for the politics part… He does save people but sometimes he put politics first. He is weird.”
“Wait,” Emma said out loud.
Both Nazar and the other man looked at her.
“I think I know you… I can’t put my...”
“Yes, I am Norse God.”
Emma was still looking at him in a confused manner. His answer didn’t clear anything up.
“Norse… God…?”
Emma was confused but she also felt a sort of uneasiness.
She feels like she knows this person but she cannot recall it.
“I am Edward Hunt. But everyone calls me Eddie,” the man said as he walked towards Emma. “I have helped Ion a few times but not a lot. I don’t make a lot of public appearances on Earth. Because Nazar told me.”
“Why?” She asked as she looked at Nazar.
She was still feeling uneasy but she didn’t show it on her face.
“Well…”
Nazar was not sure what to tell her, so he changed the subject.
“Anyway, let’s find the culprit soon.”
“Oooh, can I stay with you guys?”
She completely forgot about the uneasiness she was feeling.
Seeing Emma’s excited expression, Eddie laughed. And deep down, Nazar regretted it.
“I remember being the same when it came to space.”
“I can’t say I was excited when I went to space for the first time.”
Nazar sighed deeply as he remembered coming to an alien planet for the first time. It was on that planet where he died over and over and over again.
“Anyway, let’s find the culprit,” Eddie said.
He sounded serious.
Nazar looked at Emma and smiled.
“Sure. But don’t tell anyone.”
“YES!!” She screamed as she jumped slightly.

The Madec Legacy
The dawn of Emotion Based A.I.s is here, John is the fifth test subject to have an AI implemented in his brain, and so far the first one to survive. Blinded by the dream of immortality, the researchers push the tests to inhumane standards. John is obligated to take part in sessions of torture designed to test the limits of the AI influence over the physical and mental health. What was supposed to be a new beginning in life turns into living hell. An (un)lucky twist ends his life. John then reincarnates with his AI in a new world where a System influences the interaction between Magic and Matter. With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!
