Chapter 26 - The Hero - Part 5
Unknown planet:
Near the centre of the universe, on an empty planet, Nazar appeared from thin air.
He was panting heavily as he crawled slowly on the surface of this rocky planet.
Nazar tried to stand up but he fell to the ground.
He was losing all the strength he had.
Not expecting that from her, Nazar immediately thought about the few nights he remembers vaguely and his emotions went into turmoil once more.
“This can’t be real...”
On an empty planet, which had nothing on it but rocks, Nazar had fallen to the ground.
All over the planet, the rumbling sound of thunder striking can be heard.
No place was left alone.
The thunder started striking as soon as Nazar appeared on this planet.
“No, no, no, no, no, no, no...”
He tried to stand up but a bolt of lightning struck him at the back.
Nazar felt intense pain but didn't notice it because all the negative emotions swirling up inside him.
He has felt this many times before.
And every time he had help from Aarin or Solace to get back to normal.
Will this time be the same as before?
Not knowing what he is doing, the core of the planet started to destabilise.
"Why me? What am I supposed to be? Nothing. So, what does she see in me?!"
Shouting on top of his lungs, Nazar didn't notice the many cracks that were appearing on the surface of this planet.
"Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?"
He punched the ground but had no strength in it, so he only felt pain.
“Why me? What it---”
He trailed off as he noticed something.
His eyes widened as he looked at his hand.
Earlier he didn't think it was real, but this time he felt it again.
“.....”
Nazar punched the ground again.
Looking at his palm, he saw blood.
How can a weak punch like that make him bleed?
But that was not the most shocking thing.
“Huh…?”
Nazar turned around and looked at the sky above him as hundreds of lightning strikes struck down around him.
His emotional state went back to normal on its own.
He raised his hand and held it up.
“Pain...”
His face distorted from a confused look to a serious one.
“I can feel pain again.”
His heart started to beat fast.
After millions of deaths, Nazar could no longer feel pain.
But for the first time in a long time, he felt pain.
Even if it was just a scratch, he felt pain.
“I had forgotten how pain feels...”
A few drops of blood landed on his cheek.
Nazar licked the blood off his cheek with his tongue.
“Pain...”
His heart started to race even faster.
He thought it will jump out of his throat.
“Ha… ha… haha… hahahahaha...”
On this empty planet, as powerful thunder struck down, he laughed like a madman.
“Hehehe… HEHEHEHEHEHEHE….”
A psychotic laugh rang out on this empty planet as more and more thunder struck the planet.
The core started to become even more destabilized.
“This is getting interesting.”
The dark sky immediately lightened up as if something blew up in space.
“All this time, I was looking for entertainment… for something this... interesting.”
Cracks appeared all over the planet.
It looked like it will blow up any second.

“If someone this powerful can hurt me… If they are powerful enough to do this to me… To stand a chance against me… To mess around with me...”
He licked his lips.
“This is getting interesting.”
A massive beam of light shot down from the sky and hit him in the leg.
“Hahahahaha I can feel pain again. HAHAHAHAHA.”
He laughed like a madman when he should be crying out in pain.
"Why did I try to fight them before? Why did I not notice this earlier? Hehehe"
That was not just a beam of light.
It was a supernova shaped like a beam of light.
Within a few seconds, the sun of this solar system blew up and he shaped it like a beam of light and shot himself with it.
He was laughing like a maniac as his leg disintegrated into nothingness and the beam of light made a hole in this planet.
“Hahahahahahahaha… I… I can’t wait to try this out!”
(Turn down powers.) He thought to himself as his powers lowered down.
As thunder struck him over and over and over again as he lay down and laughed like a maniac.
He looked at the back of his palm as he was being hit by lightning strikes.
His heart started beating even faster.
He couldn’t contain his excitement.
“I missed feeling pain.”
He clenched his hand and…
BOOM!!
While lying down on the planet, it blew up into small pieces.
Nazar disintegrated with the force of the planet blowing up.

One hour later:
Near the centre of the universe, in a small solar system, the sun blew up. Later, it was followed by the destruction of a small planet.
From the ashes of the dead world, Nazar gasped.
“Hehehehe...”
Among the debris of the destroyed planet, Nazar came back to the land of the living.
Nazar can come back from the dead instantly but he wanted to take his time this time.
Coming back to the land of the living, he had no clothes on his body.
“After so long...”
Clothes appeared around him as he manipulated matter around him.
“I felt pain. And died while feeling pain… Hehehehe...”
As he was laughing, he waved his hand and the planet was restored. It was as if nothing had happened.
After a few minutes of standing on the planet, he calmed down and looked at the sun that is no more.
Looking at it, he sighed.
“I should have held back… Haha.”
He looked at the place where they used to be the sun.
And just like that, the sun appeared once more.
The sun was younger than the previous one.
“Oh shit!”
He finally noticed something.
What if there were people in this solar system?
Using modified nigh omnipresence, he found out that just one planet was inhabited in this solar system.
“Fuck!”
However, they were not affected much except for the fact that the temperature on the planet was extremely low.
He brought back the sun and healed everyone on that planet as a form of compensation.
Nazar let out a sigh of relief.
He started to slowly fly up when he suddenly found himself punched in the face and fell to the ground on this small planet.
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING, NAZAR?”
Nazar looked up and saw a muscular woman with blonde hair and blue eyes in a white dress floating above him using white wings.

“Ah, A-Aarin. It's been a whil--”
Before he could finish, Aarin came down and slapped him on the face.
“Ouch! I am sorry. Let me explain.”
“Hmph. If the reason is not good enough, I will… Sigh. What is it? EXPLAIN YOURSELF!”
Nazar gulped.
“O-okay, I will.”
Aarin let out another sigh as she sat opposite Nazar.
Nazar waited for her to calm down a little.
"So?"
"Um… Where should I begin?"
"Uh, I would like to know why you blew up the sun and this planet."
Nazar thought about it.
"I was caught in the moment. I can feel pain again."
Seeing the wide and happy smile on Nazar's face, Aarin found herself confused even more.
His smile didn't fit the situation right now and definitely not what he said a mere seconds ago.
"What?"
"You know how after so many deaths, I became immune to pain, right?"
Aarin nodded lightly.
"But now I feel it again."
"Oh? How?"
Nazar took a deep breath.
"It started 10 weeks ago. I felt a disturbance in the universe. After following it, I came across this weird planet and then was soon enveloped by darkness. The next day I found myself in my room…"
Nazar bit his lip as he thought about those nights.
Seeing the troubled look on Nazar's facet, Aarin said, "Skip that part if you don't want to talk about it."
"There is this… woman. She is powerful enough to mess around with my emotions, body and powers."
Aarin's eyes widened in shock.
"You and Solace can manipulate my emotions because I allow it. But she can do it without my… wish - if you will."
Aarin was not sure how to react.
"She comes and does things to me and leaves. Today she made my body so I can feel pain again. And that just made things a little more… interesting, I guess."
“And this happened because…?”
“Well, I just came to this planet when this woman confessed to me. And I was not sure and then I noticed that I could feel pain again.”
A guilty smile appeared on Nazar’s face.
“Well, you know the rest.”
Aarin sighed deeply.
“Nazar...”
“Y-yes, o-oh holy one??”
Seeing the serious expression on Aarin’s face, Nazar wanted to suck up to her.
“If you do anything like this again...”
Nazar saw as an unnatural smile appeared on her face.
(Forcing a smile when angry…. Now, that’s scary.) Nazar thought to himself as he gulped.
He also felt like the veins in her body were about to pop open because of the anger.
“I will take away your emotions,” she said slowly as she gritted her teeth.
Seeing her say that with a serious look and with a forced angry smile, Nazar felt a chill down his whole body.
“And no one will be able to return them to you.”
Nazar looked at her and then bowed down.
“Your holiness, please forgive me.”
She smacked him on the head.
“I am joking. I will never do anything like that.”
Of course, Nazar knew that.
Aarin loves him so much so she would never hurt him like this.
“Hmph. Maybe I will kill you a few times instead.”
Maybe she will kill him a few times but death is meaningless to Nazar.
“Thank you. I will promote you to a goddess now.”
“No thanks.”
Nazar stood up.
“Thanks for keeping that planet safe, Aarin.”
She stood up and pinched his ear.
“Don’t do it again.”
“Ow. I won’t.”
Aarin sighed lightly.
“I am going to keep an even closer eye on you from now on.”
“I appreciate that,” Nazar said as he smiled.
Aarin smiled as she vanished into thin air.
Once Aarin left, Nazar’s expression turned serious.
He stood in the exact same spot for many hours without moving or even thinking.
“Now, let’s continue as if nothing has happened.”
He forced a smile on his face.
It did not look forced or unnatural. It looked very normal even though it was anything but.
“Now then, where should I go… Oh?”
Nazar narrowed his eyes.
“That planet will do.”
And just like that, he vanished into thin air.
လလလ
Outside of the multiverse, in a small dimension, a woman with silver hair and purple eyes, wearing a black dress smiled thinly.
“To think he would get control of his emotions by himself. Interesting,” she said in a voice that did not feel natural at all. It was an artificial voice.
In this place, there were seven monsters who called themselves the Seven Deadly Sins and Archangel Michael beside her.
“I have a little present waiting for you, love.”
She slightly shook her head.
“Maybe a few.”
“Just what is your endgame?”
Hearing that question, she looked at seven different monsters.
“You are…?”
Hearing that artificial voice, the monster’s shoulders jerked.
He knew that she sounded angry even when he could not feel the emotions in that artificial voice.
“I am Pride.”
“The Seven Deadly Sins. Lucifer’s greatest creation - in my humble opinion.”
“Thank you.”
She stood up.
Was she sitting earlier? Or was she standing?
If she was sitting, what was she sitting on?
No one in this place could tell. Not even the great angel Michael.
“My endgame is to bring back my people. And I need his power for that.”
“Then why not just go and take it? If I know Nazar, he will probably help you out,” Michael said in an annoyed tone.
A laugh rang out in this place.
An emotionless burst of laughter rang out as they all felt a chill ran down through their body.
“Do you really think he will help me? When the price is this high?”
Michael narrowed his eyes.
“Price?”
“And it makes things interesting. Especially now that he regained control over his emotional state without my permission.”
Michael felt anger for not getting an answer.
“Two lonely and bored gods looking for something entertaining. Except that I have a goal and he doesn’t.”
Michael noticed that she was rubbing her belly.
“Hehe. It is really getting interesting.”
This woman noticed Michael’s gaze on her belly.
She looked at him and smiled.
Then raised her index finger to her mouth.
“Shh,” she gestured him to keep silence as she winked.
This time, her voice felt natural.
Seeing that, Michael’s eyes widened.
“No, it can’t be...”
