Chapter 17 - Family Matters - Part 1
Plymouth, England:
Inside a massive state, there was a house in which Nazar had grew up in. In the living room of that house, Nazar was sitting on the floor and was beginning to explain his story to his family.
“Every story begins with darkness then light,” Nazar said.
His brother, sister, cousin and parents were sitting on the sofa.
They exchanged confused glances with one another.
“Before came the light, came two beings. A creator and a destroyer. The Supreme One and the Nameless One.”
Manipulating the rays of light, Nazar showed them two images. One, which showed a silhouette of a man made of pure white light. And another which showed a picture of someone who looked like Nazar.
“Dude, what?” Emma laughed as she said, “What kind of names are those?”
Nazar noticed that no one was paying attention to the pictures.
“How am I supposed to know that?”
Aeron clicked his tongue as he looked at Emma and said, “Just continue, will you?”
Nazar let out a sigh and continued.
“The Supreme One created everything. The universe. Seeing that, the Nameless One became jealous. He wanted to destroy it but the Supreme One created Lucifer. Lucifer stopped the Nameless One. wanting revenge, he created his own weapons of mass destruction. Soldiers who power him out. Me.”
The last word sent chills throughout the room.
“Every Nazar across the universe are created for one reason: to power up the Nameless One. Among his creations, I was an anomaly. I was supposed to be the only being who can reach a status no one can: omnipotence.”
“...What?” Aeron narrowed his eyes slightly. “Do you think this is some kind of a j--”
“Just listen, will you?” Aria sounded angry.
He looked at her and let out an exasperated sigh.
“Thank you, Aria,” Nazar said as he smiled. “But to reach that state, it would have taken me millions of years. But the Supreme One changed something within me. Instead of waiting millions of years, he made it so I could reach that status immediately if I wanted to.”
“So… you are saying that you are some omnipotent God?” Emma asked.
Nazar nodded.
“But I have gotten rid of most of my powers. I will get back to that later.”
His parents exchanged glances with each other.
They had no idea what was going on.
Was this the same son they had raised?
“Hmm… where do I go from here?” Nazar said as he slowly rubbed his chin. “Do I begin with the original timeline or--”
“Just begin from wherever makes the most sense,” Aeron sounded annoyed.
Aeron always seems very angry when he is around Nazar. He hates how secretive Nazar is and he knows that he is faking his "normalness".
Nazar thought about what Aeron said for a brief moment.
“Okay, I will begin from the original timeline.”
“Hm? Another timeline?” Aeron finally noticed what Nazar said and he started to look interested. “Are you telling me other timelines exist?”
“I will come back to that.”
Aeron’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Moving on. Okay, so Earth used to be ruled by a demon. He was ruling it from behind the scenes. And you,” Nazar pointed at his parents, “were working for him.”
“...What?” Aya said slowly.
“But he was controlling you. He was controlling you and everyone else working for him. Anyway, working for the demon, you killed Aeron as part of an experiment.”

His parent’s eyes opened wide in horror.
“And once you...or rather he found out I had powers, you experimented on me and tortured me for five years. In the meantime, Emma was born and you wanted to experiment on her too. But a demon… Another demon with the help of a half-demon saved her from your clutches. And then I was saved by the same half demon.”
His parents couldn’t believe what they had done. Even if it was in another timeline and they hadn’t done it, they still felt guilty.
“Then we were raised by the same adoptive parents. And it took me over 14 years to find out that the person I was living with was my own sister. And on top of that, it took me even longer to find out that the people who raised us were secret agents working for the British government to keep an eye on us. And perhaps even use us later? Or use her against me?”
“That kind of sounds cool,” Emma muttered under her breath.
However, Nazar heard it and chose to ignore her.
“When I turned 18, I met you two again,” Nazar looked at his parents. “One of you destroyed a whole city killing millions and mom went on and tried to destroy another one. I stopped her but I used that as an opportunity so they can kidnap me. I destroyed their labs and killed everyone working in it.”
Seeing their horrified expressions, Nazar continued to clear himself up.
“Don’t worry, they were undead - which I will explain later. Once I was destroying the labs, I found Aria and her family and our relatives and family friends.”
“What?”
Nazar looked at Aria and continued, “Just like mom and dad, you guys were also turned into weapons to be used against me. I also found out that hundreds of other people were being experimented on. Of course, I freed them all and then I left Earth. I left Earth because I was fed up with all of this bullshit.”
He thought back to his days alone when he lived on the moon and what he found.
“Living there allowed me to learn a little more about the world. Humanity was holed up inside a barrier. The whole planet was inside a barrier placed by the first angel, Lucifer.”
“Why would Lucifer do that?”
Compared to the others, Emma was the only one who was not taken back. Maybe because she just came from an alien planet?
“Because Lucifer created humanity. Until 30,000 years ago, this planet didn’t have anything. Lucifer transformed it and created humanity.”
Too many conflicting emotions within them didn’t give them a chance to be surprised. Of course, except for Emma. She seemed surprised.
“I will probably come back to that later on. Anyway, once I learned that the demon was ruling over Earth, with the help of this powerless Angel, we defeated him and saved Earth. It was all supposed to be good but then I found something else.”
Not getting any reaction from any of them, Nazar continued.
“Do you remember those people I mentioned who were experimented on?”
Emma nodded.
“Aria had joined them and they had powers.”
“What?”
Aria finally reacted to what Nazar said.
“How exactly…?”
“An alien. If I remember correctly they wanted to invade Earth. And they powered up the superhumans who were being controlled. And the demon who saved Emma was actually also manipulating you without knowing.”

(Okay it's going to become even more confusing...) Nazar thought to himself.
“Reality was weakened. If reality warping was used a few times, the whole universe would have been destroyed. Since your power was reality warping, the demon used you to try and destroy the whole universe. Of course, we prevented that too. But you had to be killed. Sorry.”
“Oh...” Aria said as she lowered her gaze.
“After that, we confronted more and more aliens. Then I was kidnapped by them. And since I was suicidal at that time and had a death wish, I let them kill me. I died thousands of times but then it was not what I was expecting. As being as powerful as I can never go to hell or heaven, so I end up in a place called the Void. Complete darkness. No sound either.”
Nazar’s body shuddered as he thought about that time.
“Meanwhile, the demon made their move and put three of the largest empires - one which I rule over now - against one another. And as the demon was doing that, my best friend Emily was killed by the Nameless One’s avatar. I will come back to her soon too. She is important.”
At this point, he had lost all of them except for Emma.
All of them had conflicting feeling swirl up within them.
Aeron was not sure how to feel about his parents killing him.
His parents were feeling very guilty for something they hadn’t done.
And Aria was not sure how to feel about being raised as a weapon against her own cousin.
“And then I went and helped stopped the demon. That was also the first time I used my god-like abilities. I powered up someone else and changed some stuff. For example, using reality warping will not cause the destruction of the universe. Coming back to Earth, soon I faced the avatar of the Nameless One. Who had manipulated my emotions and was messing around with me... And then one day, I met him. The real him.”
Nazar thought about what happened with his creator.
“He looks exactly like me. Or rather, I look like him. The only difference?” Nazar touched his hair. “I changed my hair from black to white and changed my eyes from black to red. I didn’t want to be reminded of him always. I still look like him... but at least the hair is different...”
Emma noticed as Nazar forced a smile on his face. She could feel his sadness.
“So, what happened when you met him?”
Nazar chuckled once Emma asked him a question.
“I died.”
A confused expression appeared on her face.
“I died over a million times. Outside of the whole existence, I was killed over and over and over again for over three months straight. On Earth, only around three weeks had passed but in that place? It was months. Death after death. And that’s when it happened.”
“A million… deaths?” Emma muttered slowly.
His mention of death also got the attention of everyone else in the room too.
“In the last few deaths, a white figure made of bright light appeared. Doing what he asked me, I reached omnipotence. And accidentally destroyed the earth, the universe, the multiverse, heaven, hell… Everything died.”
Another chill ran through the room.
“I brought it back, of course. But I had more power than anyone. So, I placed it inside Arosus. Other dimensions and people too.”
“Who is Arosus?”
“My other self. I put most of my omnipotent power in him.”
“Okay,” Emma sounded unsure.
“After coming back from death, a lot of things happened. For example, Lucifer turned all angels into fallen angels and Michael became an Archangel. And well, Michael basically wanted to recreate everything in his image. And Lucifer was being controlled by the Supreme One... Long story short, things got confusing.”
“What’s wrong with powerful people and destroying stuff?”
Hearing Emma’s question, Nazar just shrugged.
“After our battle, I came across Aeron again.”
Aeron’s eyes widened.
He remembered Nazar saying something about Aeron dying.
Nazar looked at Aeron and continued, “My brain was taken out when I was a child and it was put inside you. When I recreated everything and put my energies in other dimensions and people, some of it went into you and then… Well, you were brought back from the dead. Wait, no.”
Nazar thought about what exactly happened. His memory of that time is a little fuzzy.
“Okay, so… When they put my brain in your head, you were basically half alive? I don’t know how that works though.”
Aeron became confused even more.
“So, you came back to life completely once that energy entered your body. After that, you were turned into something insanely powerful.”
“So… I was alive but also dead?”
Nazar was expecting that question, but he still didn’t know how to answer it properly.
“Basically when they put my brain inside your head, you were like in a coma? You could hear and think but couldn’t move or speak or even see.”
“That… Hm?”
“Moving on.”
Aeron tried to think of what happened to him.
“So, after that, some stuff happened with aliens and then… And then… Oh yeah, Earth was stolen by this guy who called himself Aiht, the Negative God - a being who could make any form of energy his own and also fed off emotions. We saved Earth and everything was supposed to be good.”
“I hear a but coming?” Aria said, sounding unsure.
“Then Emily came back. Back from the dead. And she stole Arosus’s powers. Since she was the host of the Nameless One, she gathered powers from every single Nazar across the multiverse and destroyed the future.”
Seeing their confused reactions, Nazar wanted to clarify something.
“She started from the end of time and destroyed it until May 22nd 2000, the day I was born. He wanted to raise me as his own and steal my power. But he didn’t know about my rise to omnipotence and how it changed - it is simply because Arosus had subconsciously hidden that information from her. And because of my rise to that statue, I couldn’t be affected by stuff as simple as time or reality.”
Nazar couldn’t help but smile.
“He destroyed everything, beginning at the end of time until the day of my birth. So, changing stuff here and there led to the creation of this timeline.”
“So, what changes did you make?” Emma asked.
“That’s a good question.”
They sat in silence as they listened to the rest of his story.

Re:The Worst System Leveling Turned Me Into A Zombie
Before I reached Lvl. 100, they called me Death God Hei. But when I broke the limit, the System punished me. It cursed me to become this monster. I woke up as a Lvl. 0 again. Dying only brings me back to a save point now. But I don't go back until I die twice. First I suffer as a human, then I hunger as a zombie. The worst part is...I still have to watch when that thing takes over my corpse. I call it the Gray. I can't do anything even when it's hunting down those I'm trying to save. Sometimes, I wonder. When I level, I swear I can hear a voice speaking to me. This thing...can it think? It's like Re:zero crossed with SAO, Solo Leveling, and Tokyo Ghoul Re:The Worst System is a dark, 1st person timeloop story where the main character is slowly driven insane by his ability to respawn at a save point. However, each time he levels, there's a possibility that the next time he dies, the zombie inside him will become too powerful for anyone to stop. So he has to level up a harem...ahem, others, to fight for him against the System. Oftentimes, Hei will get trapped in repeating death loops which are truly terrifying. You've been warned...please don't read if you're not willing to see the darkness all the way through. The light on the other side may be a long ways away...I'll be trying to post on Thurs/Sundays, but honestly, depending on how I'm feeling, chapters could come out at some wonky times. Bleached Nightmare
500 years into the future, technological progress has stagnated. Wracked by a series of problems like climate change, lack of resources and the innate human lust for war, the geopolitical landscape of planet Earth is radically different, and quality of life is far from what it was in the past. While technical development and research into realistically feasible space travel has made leaps and bounds, this has come at the cost of a world that is reeling from centuries of technical stagnation in other aspects of life. The establishment of a mining colony on Mars has led to the discovery of a new, rare material called sarinium; though it is extremely tensile and durable, it has a very low melting point. The discovery of this metal leads to large mechanical infantry- dubbed 'Spirit Striders', they are six to ten meters tall and as famed for the pride they provide a nation as they are a lethally mobile heavy weapons platform. The story follows the character of Marilin, who must both figure the enigma that is her past, and what this means for her allegiances in the future. Despite her genetically physical frailty, she seeks to gain power through a vessel that will channel her wish to change the world- the Spirit Strider. --- I hope you all enjoy my work. This is a story that I began writing over four years ago in my beginning years of high school, and have cast aside unfinished in the past two years. Though it is not up to my current standards, I hope you all may find some enjoyment in it. Happy reading.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... Getting a Common Game Ability on Normal Life [Revised]
This was based on my other story, since i made a mistake somewhere in the middle and the story kinda became generic. ** Suddenly, without explanation, a transparent screen appeared in front of random people around the world. They were bestowed with cool abilities like, [Fireball], [Heal], or [Summoning]. Some used it for the greater good, others for their own benefit. However, some had meh ability Like my sis, she had [Daily Spin] that allowed her to get a random gift every-day I knew another guy that had [Spicy Breath] spewing fire from his mouth whenever he ate something spicy As for me! i had [Mini-map] as my ability! like what the hell! seriously!? Now I’m stuck with a box on the top right that blocks 1/16 of my vision… Right, i didn't forget to mention about monster right? I do not own the image, I put random images from the internet and photoshopped it And feel free to criticize me, at least point out where I make the mistake ^^ Danetello helped me making the description!
