Ray heard an explosion again, it's only a few blocks away from him. He immediately flew towards the explosion.

The buildings on the side were also no good but if they manage to climb on the highest floor of the buildings then maybe they have a chance but doing that is not easy since the bottom part of the buildings is wrecked. A monster that was about to pounce towards a man was suddenly sliced in half.

" No, That is a bad pla- *Roaar!*, *Swish!*, Haa, That is a bad plan, the monsters are already close, with this many people, if we make a sudden turn the monster will immediately catch up to us, we will be trapped inside the building and if that happens, we will all die since we are too tired and their numbers are too great." Said by the sword guy

"Then what are we going to do?" Ask by the Spear guy

"Just keep running for now maybe we wil-"

"Hamada-san! There is also a group of Monsters in front of us!... Oh no! We are now Surrounded on both sides!" Shouted by the marksman in front, towards the sword guy at the back.

"Oh, sh*t!" Said by the Spear-guy

" What should we do Hamada-san!?" said by one of the mages while trying to calm the civilians that had fallen to the ground.

The sword guy called Hamada saw that the monster was getting close already. He was really thinking as fast as he could to think a way out. He was the one that is entrusted by their leader as the one who will manage their group, he was the one that is supposed to make sure their safety, he was the responsible for their lives but he failed to manage them carefully and lead them to the situation they are in now.

" I will try to buy time, you guys go ahead and enter that building as fast you can. I will slow them down, so you guys need to bring those civilians on the highest floor of the building and secure it so no monsters could enter it, then from there try to make a call to the base and request a backup! they are getting close now! Go!" Said by Hamada towards his men.

They all stare at him for a second, then they all nodded and perform a salute before picking up the civilians and lead them towards the building. Even if they all wanted to argue and reason it to him, they can't because they don't have many choices. In the end, they are all forced to swallow their guilt and just do what they are told.

"Hmm, why are you still here? didn't I say that-"

"That what? That I should just sit there and watch you die? Haha no. When the Monster is already getting close to them, they both take their stance and was about to launch towards the monsters while shouting at the top of their lungs but suddenly...

When they see that the monsters are already close and were about to pounce towards them, they just closed their eyes and wait for their deaths.

When they hear the monsters that were about to jump towards them, they gritted their teeth and brace themselves, but suddenly.

They suddenly hear a familiar voice in front of them, they slowly opened their eyes and see what is happening. When they open their eyes, they saw the civilians they rescued and their teammates in front of them, their teammates are all looking at the both of them with teary eyes and the civilians look really grateful towards them.

"Huh!? the wait is this, heaven? Wait you guys are here too, that means... I still failed to protect you huh!? I'm really sorry guys, I failed as your team leader, I hope you could forgive me!" said Hamada while doing a full Bow towards them. Suddenly something hit him hard in the head.

"Ouch! what the- Jin? why did ya hit me!?" Said by Hamada while holding his aching head.

"Look Idiot, were not in heaven! where at the rooftop of a building!" Said by the Spear-Guy called Jin

"Rooftop!? wait how did we get here?" Said by Hamada in disbelief

"We are also the same! When we enter the building earlier, we found out that all the stairs that are leading towards the upper floor are blocked by a bunch of fallen debris so we didn't manage to get into the higher floors, but suddenly someone appeared in front of us and then in just a blink of an eye, we are all here at the rooftop, and a couple of seconds after that, you two also appears. Maybe that man was the one who saved all of us. He has a teleporting skill then maybe he was also a blessed." said by the marksman

"Yeah, that's possible but, where is that man? the one that you're talking about."

"I don't know, we didn't see his face since he was wearing a hoodie and a mask. After he teleported all of us here he just said to us that all of us should just stay here and wait for help then after that he just vanished, then you two appears, but I didn't see him when you two appear here. He must have left already." Said by one of the Mages

" Hmm.....he must be a great man if that's the case, he leaves without asking for anything. He helped us all unconditionally, whoever he was, I am thankful for him with all my life. I hope I meet him someday so I can repay him.." Said by Hamada while looking up in the sky

All of them were happy and thankful for the mysterious man that saved them. But one of the civilians is having a really worried expression, the other civilian that is on her side noticed it.

"Hey, you okay? it's already fine, we are safe in here, the monsters won't be able to get up here." Said by the other girl towards her friend

"Uh, Y-yeah I'm fine, I'm just... I'm just shocked, that's all. I'll be fine." Said by the girl towards her worried friend

"Yeah, you should relax, oh here eat this. Maybe you are just hungry." Said by the other girl while offering a sandwich to her

"Oh, No I'm fine Airi, thanks. I'm not hungry, you should eat it instead I know that you are hungry." said by the girl towards the girl named Airi

"You sure?... Well If you say so then, Thanks for the meal." Said the girl named Airi and proceed on eating the sandwich.

The girl on the other side was still having a really worried expression on her beautiful face.

"That voice earlier..... I'm sure it was him...Ray" Said by the girl in a whispering voice

"Huh, You shed shomthing?" Said buy the girl named Airi while eating her sandwich

"Uh no, It's nothing, and don't talk when you're mouth is full"

On just the other side of the building they were in, a man can be seen at the rooftop of the building while crouching and holding his chest, you can see that he was having a struggle on breathing.

"F*ck...I *Huff* Know this...was....a really.....bad idea...That number was too.....Much...Agk! .....*Thud*

Suddenly he falls off to the floor and started to lose his consciousness.

"...Aahh, F*ck-...."

Then suddenly, everything went black.
