Said by an officer as he tries to guide and protect the people to the Safety Bunker.
"Sh*t where in the hell these monsters come from.

"Tch! they are so tough! Just keep firing at them!"

Suddenly an inflated big fat monster appears in not so far to them..... its stomach is convulsing like something is moving inside of it and while it's happening it keeps getting bigger at the same time.
"Oh no! hey fall back now-"
Feeling something bad is going to happen, he started to step back as he also orders his men to fall back but.
*Blugh!*
*Splash!*
Suddenly the monster leans forward and then it started to splash out some green like thick liquid.
"Oh f*ck!"
The officer that is first to fall back found an alley and try to hide there, but for the others, they are too late as the green liquid manage to hit them.
*Ssssssssss*
"AHHHHHH!"
"AAH, HELP ME!"
"AAAAAAAAH! IT HURTS!"
Turns out that the green thick liquid that the monster splash out from its body is a strong acid as the policemen's that get hit by it started to deteriorate and slowly melt on the spot, even the ground they are standing is not an exemption.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry... Everyone, I'm sorry." *sob*
The officer who managed to hide in an alley, watch his subordinate officers scream in pain and die slowly.
*Guark, Guark, Guark*
The monster suddenly produced some strange noises like it is laughing that he manages to hit someone.

"You Bastard!.... HAAAA!"
*Bang, Bang, Bang*
The Officer got out in rage as he continuously shot the monster by his gun.
Suddenly the monster felt something hitting its belly and look down to find the officer firing his gun to him.
"Oh no!"
When he sees that the stomach of the monster in front of him is starting to get big again, he already knows what was going to happen that's why he tries to run back to the alley to take cover again but when he was about to run he see a crying child not so far behind him, the child is so scared and it looks like she was left behind by his parents as it calls his parents while crying non-stop.
'Oh no, she will be hit by that liquid,
Tch, dammit!'
He runs towards the child as fast as he could to get her out of the way and save her.
"Come Here!"
*Blurgh*
"Huh"
When he reaches her position he crouched down and try to pick up the child but when he look back to the monster it already leans forward and shot out its liquid greenish acid towards them.
"Oh no!"
He instinctively hugs the child he was holding to cover her out of the way and closes his eyes.
'Is this where I'm going to die? I'm sorry Everyone, I'm sorry Yuki, I can't go there anymore I'll just hope that you are safe, I'm sorry'

Wondering why the acid hasn't hit them yet he tries to open his eyes to look at the monster's direction but suddenly he found someone is standing in front of them, looking at them.
He tries to look behind the man to only find out that the big monster earlier who killed his subordinates was missing, it completely vanishes like it's not even there at first.
Wondering of how did that happen, the man in front of him suddenly speak.
"You ok officer?"

Sorry for slaughtering such a beautiful tradition. This novel starts off slower than most. If the slow-roll isn't your thing, you might want to give this a pass. If it's not for you, I understand. Also, releases may be broken up into smaller chunks. The goal is 5k words, but definitely more than 4k. If you see a short release, be aware that more is probably coming. I'll be honest and say that I'm struggling with each new scene, if only because I want to balance the scope of vision with good pacing. I hope the work I put into it is worthwhile.

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.

Hello, this is my first attempt at creating something like a novel. English is also not my native language, so expect some grammar and punctuation issues. I am using Grammarly to help myself in this regard, but in some areas, the free app cannot correct everything.There is currently no fixed schedule, although I believe that two chapters per week should be reasonable. Depending on how much time I have, I can write more.
