Bio: Born 1985 February 13 in Australia into a conservative family with 2 younger sisters Hazards childhood life was comfortable and healthy. Always supported by caring parents and engaged in sibling rivalry to promote a sense of competitiveness. Paired with his massive frame even for a young child Hazard became an extremely competent athlete. Training regularly and dominating sports saw him thrusted into the spotlight where his polite and caring attitude earned the place of being one of the most popular children in the neighbourhood.
On one eventful summer a fight had broken out between the new kid and loud mouth over an ice block. Without effort Hazard stepped in to protect them both from each other while pulling Bishop away. Impressed with the resolution of the two to share the ice block and Bishops admiration of Hazard he quickly found himself roped into the antics driven by Strider as the muscle of the group which he thoroughly enjoyed.
One such event occurred during operation ‘attack summer’ where the boys fought against the sun to cool down the day where Flux and Robert cheered Hazard on as he launched bottles of water at the sun. Though it left the boys wildly impressed with the distance he could throw it wasn’t long until a window was shattered and the 5 were reprimanded, Strider earning a slap from home.
With a strong base of close friends behind him Hazard furthered his aptitude for sports dominating his local competition. By the age of 11 he was competing at a national level for his age group. What could have been a very promising sporting career from such a young age was placed in jeopardy at age 12 when Robert and Flux had been shot. The loss of a friend and damage to Flux completely displaced Hazards priorities from sport to the condition of Strider. Desperate not to lose another friend he took as much time as he could allow to keep an eye on him and tried to keep him away from destructive behaviours even missing competitions in order to do so.

At the age of 17 Hazard found out through his vast connections of friends that Strider had completely flown off the rails. Not knowing how to proceed he contacted Bishop who immediately hung up to deal with the situation. Knowing full well his friend would drag Strider from the building kicking and screaming Hazard drove to take Strider back to a more comfortable place. Upon arriving Strider appeared broken and avoided eye contact for the trip home until Hazards family offered Strider a place to stay so that he might recover. With Strider finally in check and under constant watch Hazard returned to what he loved full time.
By the age of 20 he was once again performing at a national level in numerous sporting events. This became derailed once again by the hand of Strider as he suggested they join the army. Hazard was the only one of the group who rejected the idea and debated it’d be best for all of them to aspire for a simple life. With his pleas reaching deaf ears and terrified of not being able to support his friends he eventually joined the army as well in order to keep them safe regardless of his wishes.
Screening found Hazard to be a traditional candidate from a strong background of sports with a strong sense of camaraderie. Being at the peak of his fitness he trumped almost every other recruit during training again earning him a wide variety of friends throughout the barracks he was posted. It was here he earned the nickname Bearcat for being able to tear a man in half but remaining polite and caring which most took advantage of. The nickname were quickly dispelled as Hazard easily proved he could be quite the opposite when pressured.
While initially dreading what army life would bring Hazard found himself actually thoroughly enjoying the demanding physical aspects of an infantryman while working outdoors most of the time. Once comfortable with his career choice he openly displayed a fascination for heavy weapons and specialized in weapons and fire support. His massive frame let him handle the weapons with ease and allowed him to bring an incredible amount of firepower to bear on targets earning the callsign Hazard.

During his career a firebase he and his squad were positioned in came under attack from an unprepared flank. Under fire and with hostiles closing in rapidly Hazard knew the weight of fire had to be swung in their favour. Aided by the rush of combat Hazard relocated by himself 4 M2 Browning heavy machine machine guns with tripods and ammo weighing a total of 80 kg per trip hastily to the front. Even after running the 4 guns Hazard then ran a M2 Browning heavy machine gun with a sling himself to operate the weapon alone firing without the support of a tripod to assist his comrades. With this feat Hazard also earned the nickname Tank for the sheer size of weapons he was able to operate.
3 years into his career he sought out further physical challenges and saw the commandos selection course as the perfect test. Passing with flying colours he once again made a strong base of friends this time in the 2nd commando regiment. However it was here that Hazard once again began to dread what army life would bring. Often outspoken in finding the seemingly indiscriminate killing disheartening he continued regardless in supporting his squadmates in a fire support role more focussed on suppressing the enemy than killing them. His main drive to fight eventually solely became keeping his lifelong friends safe rather than for his country.
Being so outspoken with the displeasure he took in killing enemy combatants in wars he didn’t believe in Hazard was the only one out of the 4 friends not to be offered an invitation to the SASR selection course. With his friends all opting in Hazard lost all motivation for his career as a soldier and resigned as he could no longer fight alongside them to protect them. Wishing them the best he returned to his sporting career which he excelled in furtherwith potential to compete on an international level in the olympics.
He rejected this however on the news that all 3 of his friends had left or otherwise been discharged from the training program and upon hearing Striders plans Hazard agreed instantly. The idea of being able to adventure and fight only for themselves only having to kill when absolutely necessary struck a chord in Hazard that while their lives might not ever be simple they’d always be exciting and this way he’d always be able to protect the people he cared about.
