Bio: Born 1985 August 27 Australia. From birth Flux was reported initially to be quite a spontaneous individual. Very outspoken and emotive often being the loudest and most energetic amongst his friends. His boisterous attitude was often encouraged by his companions Hazard, Strider and Bishop leading to fights and cocky traits. This however came to a tragic end at the age of 12 when both Flux and lifelong friend Robert were shot during a shooting erupting from a failed terror attack.

Although Flux was successfully revived a number of times Robert passed away succumbing to his wounds. Afterwards Flux initially exhibited total amnesia not even being able to recall his own name or family. His rapid reaffiliation with his friends however suggested his memory returned to him at some point even though he never could comprehend he had been shot. However either the stress or damage of the near death experience left him mostly emotionless in most of his actions as well as a complete lack of interest in any sexual activity.

As such the complete change of character limited Flux to the friends he had already made as they were the only people left that understood his afflictions that drove so many away. Flux however never felt alienated or alone due to this and stood content with life. Upon joining the army his lack of concern for self preservation in contrast to keeping his friends safe was a red flag at first but proved to be a perfect mix of focus and care.

His motivation to join the army seemed ordinary initially. This turned out to be a falsehood apon further investigation. His motivation was to be given the tools to protect his friends and them alone no matter where they went. Proving himself to be an asset it was arranged he would fight alongside his friends in order to maintain combat efficiency.

Quite weak with a wiry frame he was often viewed as the runt of the squad and more fit for support roles rather than frontline duty. This was disproven during hand to hand combat training where he defeated his entire cohort as well as the instructor displaying almost inhuman reflexes and prediction of his opponents movements. Such a display had him specialized as point man to capitalize on his absurd reflexes and ability to predict his opponents so well.

During his general duties in soldiering the callsign Flux was assigned to him during training due to his continued irregular movements in hand to hand combat. This was much to the disappointment of other soldiers in his squads once they learned he was asexual leading to the nicknames Boneless in that they thought him sexually inept or Freaky due to rumors that it was just a cover for what he was really into. On deployment after being forced into a desperate close quarters fight in a defensive position where 5 in his squad died he left the bunker victorious covered in blood with only a knife earning the nicknames Whirlwind and Reaper.

3 years in he alongside his friends made it into the 2nd commando regiment passing selection. Flux then began to hone in what could be considered suicidal close quarters combat tactics which mostly consisted of only using a knife in enclosed spaces. Those who witnessed his fighting style saw potential without parallel and he was given freedom in his engagements in urban environments where he was able to close the distance.

At this point Flux began developing what was thought to be PTSD mumbling to himself and losing sleep. One soldier reported him to have been ‘trying to converse with the dead’ after being on an operation and going days without sleep. While noted as a concern it was eventually disregarded as a side effect of stress and fatigue that he’d recover from once given time to relax. Through further demonstrations of his techniques in clearing buildings in an extremely effective use of firearms combined with hand to hand combat he eventually was selected for SASR selection.

During the selection Flux performed with minimal physical and mental degradation in his skills regardless of excruciating fatigue and going 120 hours without sleep in final assessment. Such physical and mental endurance combined with his CQC skills made Flux a prime candidate for solo black ops in that it was trusted he would be able to handle himself while being exceptionally covert. This came into massive conflict in that he would be entirely separated from his friends and eventually voluntarily left the SASR during training then army entirely with the idea he would be losing his reason to fight.
