《I might be Overpowered》Chapter 4 - Lifelong companion

I wake up with some kind of bird on my head. Since it wasn't doing any harm I decided to leave it alone.
"That's right! I have to get some gold." I proclaimed.
I try to walk down the footholds of the roof but I slip and fall.
"Aw shi-"
My sentence is interrupted by the event of my face hitting the solid ground. I groan due to the pain.
"I'm still half asleep. Jesus." I said while caressing my forehead.
I yawn whilst I enter the shop. It was as extravagant as the interiors of the other buildings. They had a lot of weapons ranging from Daggers to Greatswords.
(I wonder which one will suit me?)
I take a look around until the clerk notices me and my bird and comes up to me.
"Excuse me, sir. Can I help you?" She asked as she looked up at the bird on my head.
"Yeah, I need a powerful weapon. Can you recommend any?"
"It depends on what you want, sir. If you want a one-handed sword then I recommend this one. It's sharp and durable. It could easily slice a rock in two."
"Hmm, do you guys have any magic weapons?"
"Yes we do, sir."
"Do you have a magic imbued greatsword?"
"Hmm, I think we do. Let me just get it from storage."
She runs to the back room with haste. Since I did not have anything else to do, I checked out the map my mother gave me. I noticed that there was a dungeon close to the town, about 20 Kilometers North and a shrine of some sort another 5 kilometers northwest.
(I don't want to do any quests at the moment so I guess I'll head there once I get a room at the inn.)
The sales clerk returns with a greatsword that is imbued with fire magic.
"Oohh looks nice. How much for it?"
"10 gold, sir."
(Alright! This way I'll get some gold for the inn.)
"Alright."
I took out a platinum coin from my pouch. The clerk seemed to be taken aback from what I did. She took the coin and put it in some kind of safe and proceeded to give me the greatsword and 90 gold.
"Thank you so much for your purchase." She said.
I headed for the inn and rented a room for a week. I went up and checked the room I was in. It was a fancy room, the bed was cozy and the bathroom was clean. I decided to give my new weapon a name.
"Hmm, since you're a beauty, I'll call you Elizabeth."
After I embarassingly gave my weapon a name, I left the inn. I head for the north gates. I happened upon a clothing shop on my way to the gates and thought of buying some new clothes after defeating the dungeon. I am in awe at the size of the gate. After a few minutes of being in awe, I cast physical enhancement magic on myself and then left the town. I ran as fast as I could toward the dungeon that I saw on my map.
"I'm getting close."

Suddenly, a Giant Bear walks in front of my path. Because I was running at such a high speed, the bear literally got torn into pieces. I disregarded what happend despite all the bear blood that covered my body. I had finally arrived at the dungeon.
"Alright! My first dungeon. This will be fun."
As I walk towards the dungeon entrance I remember the bird who was on my head whom I forgot to remove.
"Bird friend, are you okay?" I say that as I take the bird off of my head.
The bird looked like it passed out. I noticed it was a baby griffin. I read in a book once that said griffins only cling to those they recognize as their master. And that you had to be fairly strong for one to be attracted to you.
(I guess i'm strong, hehehehe)
"I seem to be picking up mom's habit. Hahaha. Well since I can't just leave you here, I'll put you in Infinite Storage while I fight."
I enter the dungeon with confidence. I fought my way through the dungeon and finally reached the boss room.
"So this is a boss room. The door is gigantic. Well, here we go!" I said as I entered the room.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, HUMAN?" A voice yelled.
"Are you the boss? I'm here to kill you since I'm bored."
"SUCH INSOLENCE. I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET EVER COMING HERE!"
"Typical boss monster last words."
The boss appeared from the shadows. It was a Minotaur. I drew my weapon in preparation. I was overcome by the excitement of battle.
"Oooh a big one aren't you?" I yelled.
The Minotaur had 2 huge axes befitting his size. He threw one at me but I evaded it with ease. The Minotaur then charged at me with great speed but I evaded again and jumped up on his back.
"Sorry for this, nothing personal." I said as I stabbed him in the back with Elizabeth.
The Minotaur then starts shouting and seems to be enraged. He takes his axe which was stuck to the wall and charges at me again. This time I took him head on. I ran towards him and readied my sword. I cut his head in a flash but broke my lovely sword in doing so.
"Elizabeth, my love, how could this happen!? Nooooooooooo!!!"
"Phssssht! Hey!" An unknown voice in my head spoke.
"Can't you see I'm grieving for my beloved? Leave me alone!" I stated.
"Seriously?"
"Nah, I'm just kidding." I answered as I threw Elizabeth away. (You will be missed, Elizabeth. -Author)
I then proceeded to the center of the room where there was a sword stuck to some kind of pedestal with the intent of taking it for myself.
"So where are you?" I asked.
"Right in front of you." The voice answered.
I look at the sword In front of me.
"Oh, well, hello, sword."
(It's weird to talk to swords when they actually talk back.)
"Hello there young man. I'm the Legendary sword Doma. I used to be a dragon named Domaka but I got sealed in this sword. By the one you call mother."

"Cool. My name is- Wait. You know my mother?"
"Indeed. In fact she was the one who sealed me in this sword."
"Oh, ok. I guess I'll just leave you then." Walks away.
"No, wait! Listen to me. I'm grateful to your mother for sealing me since the amount of adventurer's the were trying to subdue me was too damn high and I was getting annoyed. But now I'm getting bored of this dump and I want to leave. Will you take me with you?"
"Huh what was that?" I said jokingly.
"Were you even listening!?"
"Haha, of course I was. Come here new Elizabeth." I said as I took out the greatsword from the ground.
The earth began to shake and the walls began to break.
"Oh and I forgot to mention. My body was powering the dungeon. And since you took me out, this place is going to collapse very soon." Doma said.
"Fuckin hell, You should've said that earlier."
I ran as fast as I could towards the exit and made it just fine.
"So, now I have to name you."
"What?" Doma said, concerned.
"How about Martha?"
"I'm a legendary sword! I deserve a better name!"
"Well I own you so I get to decide! Muwahahaha"
Doma sighs and gives in to my willful decision.
"Ok, call me Martha from now on."
(I'm acting so much like a child. Maybe it's because I have this boy's memories. I just can't stop myself from trying to have fun.)
"Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sh-" I try to say but I get interrupted.
"You don't have to tell me. I know. I can see your Status. And I have visions of the future." Doma said.
"Status? You can see my age then?" I asked.
"Uhuh." Doma said in agreement.
"What else can you see? Is it limited to what is shown in this card?" I asked while I showed to him my guild card.
"Wait. Can you even see my guild card?"
"I can." He answered.
"Other than the ones listed here, I can see your skills."
"Skills?" I asked.
"Indeed. You seem to know a lot of spells. Are you a spellsword then?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Just like your mother, huh. Haha"
"I guess so."
"Other than your spells I see that you have 2 unique spells."
"Unique spells?"
"Yeah, spells that only a certain person can do. It cannot be copied or done by anyone else. Unless the person with the skill is dead, someone else might be born with that skill. There is a 1 in a billion chance that someone is born with a unique skill, and you have two."
"Woah, isn't that amazing?"
"It is. So is your mana, it's almost the same amount I had when I was a dragon."
"So can you tell me what it is?"
"The first one is called Zero Creation and the second one is called Absolute Probability Manipulation."
The second one caught my ear, the power to control probability? That's a very powerful spell!
"So what do they do?"
"I don't know. Since you can only read the descriptions of your own skills. I can teach you the Status skill though."
"You can? How?"
"Touch the red gem on the highest part of my hilt."
I touch it and suddenly all the knowledge about the skill rush into my brain.
"You got it?" Doma asked.
"I got it."
"Now just say status in your mind and it will appear to you."
(Status.)

Zero Creation, Absolute Probability Manipulation
(Absolute Probability Manipulation description.)
Absolute Probabability Manipulation - grants the power of absolute control over probability defying all laws of physics and laws of the universe. This skill can also be called Reality Manipulation. Costs 50,000 MP to cast.
"I was right. This is fucking awesome! The power to control probability. It costs a lot of mana though. So I can't just use it willy nilly."
"Well that's it for the day."
I head back to the town. When I try to enter the gates, I am halted by the guards.
"Who are you! Why have you come here?" They shouted.
I suddenly remember that I'm covered in the bear's blood.
(I guess all the blood is making me look suspicious.)
"Don't worry friends! I'm an adventurer here! I fell into a ditch full of mud so here I am covered in mud."
(They should buy this since it's night time and blood has mostly dried.)
"Hmm. Alright you may pass." Says one guard.
"Thank you." I answered being as polite as I possibly could.
"You could've just killed them.." Martha suggested.
"I don't kill humans unless I have to." I answered.
Martha sighs.
(Jesus, Martha. They were just doing their job.)
(So what? I haven't tasted blood in 100 years. I need battle.) Martha spoke in my thoughts.
(I'll test you out tomorrow so just calm down for tonight, ok?) I stated.
(Alright.) Martha answered.
I head inside the inn. The receptionist of the inn and all the other adventurers look at me and smile as if trying to contain their laughter.
"Hey kid! Where've you been? The sewer? Hahaha." One adventurer said mockingly.
(I let out a burst of energy rendering everyone in the room unable to speak and full of fear, I then said with a large smirk on my face.)
"I killed a Minotaur today. How about you?"
I then go upstairs while laughing and enter my room. I then proceed to jump into my cozy ass bed.
"Today was fun. I hope tomorrow will be fun too."

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

""""MA MA ARE YOU A WIZARD?"""" She is, by the way. Kinda. Sort of. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is a story about a woman who did the old """"die and get reborn"""" act and retained her memories. I do not promise a good story. But hey, I might as well try. Note : permanently halted. Possibly dropped.
