Huh? Great War? What exactly this Cosplay person talking about? Is it some street performance or television program? I really don’t get it! Just a Minute ago I’m still in Shibuya Station. With my Girlfriend and after that… Ah! I meet my second girlfriend and… and… I can’t remember anything…

When I still confused about my own condition, I’m trying to inspect the white room around me. What I see is just a pure white space with no end to it.

“Hey, what did you say just now? Great War… what is that? And… all of your candidate? It is only me in here though…”

“Hmm? Ah… sorry I forgot to tell you that you are the third last who came here and of course you and all of the candidate can’t see one another. After all it’s a battle royale you know”

What should I say, I don’t really care about that white thing in front of me who currently talking to himself.

Wait, talking to himself? Is he Crazy? But, wait… wait… its clearly that I can hear another voice of man mix in there… but who is it? Is this man the same as me? Isn’t it that you called an abduction?

When I still thinking about that, this white man say something that I can’t understand. He said,

“Okay Everyone, maybe for us this is just a game but, for you its your second life and of course the hardest one”

Yes, he said that it’ll be my second life. Is he saying that I’m already dead? I’m, the charismatic 16 years old male student, Kotobuki Sora is dead?! But wait a minute, if my mind not wrong, before I arrived at this creep white space, I remember that I trying to tell that I’m not cheating to both of my girlfriend but suddenly my third and fourth girlfriend come and the fourth of them slap me in the face one by one. After that,

Ah! I remember right now… after the four of them slapped my cheek, my fifth girlfriend come to me and suddenly hug me very gently. But when I give her my hug, I feel my stomach is burnt and its hurt enough to make me loss all of my strength to stand on my foot. When I see her face she is crying and it really make my heart pain so much… after all I can’t reject all of my girlfriend when they are confess they love to me. I just… can’t see them crying like that. I know it’s my punishment for what I did to them but when I see my fifth girlfriend ran out after make my stomach half open, I really forgot that I have sixth girlfriend. And I see her grim face from the place I sat and she already wait her turn to kick me when the train arrived.

When I remember that its really make my heartache. After my sixth girlfriend kick me, I remember that a train hit my body from the right side. Not stop on that, the last thing I remember is my head… maybe shattered to pieces. Its really awful.

After all, become a male who kind to any girl who love you is… hard, huh. But you know, I do all of that because I didn’t want any girl who care about me cried. It doesn’t matter if I’m the only one who get hurt. Yet in the end, I’m the only one who make all of them cried. Really I’m the worst.

But, when the white person in front of me who claim as Mogu said that, I can hear a lot of voice around me. I don’t know the exact number but I think it is more than 6 people.

Mogu started to explain the rule of the so called Deadly Game. First, He said that we must suppressed all of the wave that will come every year and there is 9 waves in total. Second, Mogu forbid us to trying killing each other before we turn adult or 15 years old.

Its like some anime, manga, or light novel that I read sometimes ago. What they said… reincarnated stuff like that… yeah that’s it, that kind of thing I guess.

Third, there is a punishment if we refuse to kill each other. Like our beloved one will die by something like curse or what we don’t know. And the last is,

“Fourth, you can choose your skill after I finish this explanation, and you know its just my suggestion but… you can choose a Cheat based skill too. Whatever you like, except being a god and etc. Ah! But if you want to be a demon king or maybe overlord, you can choose that in your race description later.”

As I think, if its reincarnated development, its not wrong if I expected about something like Cheat exist…

After Mogu explain that if we win and successfully suppressed the wave, he will grant the winner’s any wish that we want, Mogu came to me and ask about my race description and something along that.

I keep quiet for around 10 minutes. I think about what circumstance I want in my second life.

After I said that, Mogu think about something and suddenly show his eyes wide open.

“Mogu? Why you suddenly look so tired?”

“Don’t worry its just someone in here have a few of screw loose in his head”

Are you saying there is someone crazy among us? Are you kidding me?!

When I think that, my body is slightly trembling before I realize it.

“So, what skill will you choose… Kotobuki Sora-kun?”

“About that, can I really choose a cheat based skill?”

“Of course you can! After all if you didn’t choose that, it won’t turn interesting you know!”

If Mogu said like that, without any hesitation I’ll choose that!

“Okay, I’ll choose a cheat based skill like an Invincible shield. A shield that can protect me and my beloved person. A shield that I can make whenever I want. A shield that powerful enough so I can protect the one I cared from the jinx, can you give me that kind of cheat ability?”

Of course… he won’t give me that cheat right? After all if there is one with that kind of cheat, the rules number three will be annulled, right?

“Hmm? That’s itself is interesting, okay~ I’ll grant you that skill! …the name of the skill is ‘Shield of Heart’, a skill that can protect anything even its your beloved one from the jinx. But, don’t forget even you are a Cheater, when you face another candidate, there will be a condition which can make you in disadvantage. And this condition applied to the other too, so don’t worry.”

He really give me that kind of cheat! Are you kidding me? Then what happen to your own rule?

When I still thinking about that, my mind are going blank for about 40 minutes and suddenly I hear a voice of another man talk to Mogu.

“So, Which Cheat will you choose?”

“But before that, is it really true that another candidate can’t pick the same skill one another?”

“Don’t worry, I can guarantee it~”

“Then, I want to choose a cheat that can expand my mana so I can use all of magic that I want and a cheat like map that will represent a location of another cheater candidate, can you grant it!”

“That’s no problem, but why such a weak cheat do you pick?”

“Hmm? …even you ask that, I think I have a confidence to KILL all of them by myself. So, what is wrong for me to be a hunter in this game… and of course all of them will be my prey. As you said before, this is a GAME and a DEADLY one, am I right? So, what’s wrong if I want to get a title like MVP?”

What! Is this man Crazy?! What is he talking about?! Wait in the First place? Why that man voice can reach me? Is it perhaps… all of Mogu said to me is a lie… about the other candidate can’t hear my voice? What… what should I do if my assumption is right? I means… they can hunt me before I turned adult?! Don’t screw around with me!

When I heard what the man talking about to Mogu, I realize that I can’t trust what Mogu said. Maybe its true that he will give us a Cheat but I can’t be sure if anyone know what cheat ability I choose.

But, what make me really worries is that man who declared that he can kill all of us with such a weak skill… I still can’t believe it. One thing that I can be sure from the declaration he made is if he really can do that, then he is a real deal. If he is just a stupid than he will be the first victim.

When I started to doubt Mogu, the man continued his declaration,

“Why you make such a shocking face, Mogu?! I’ll tell you this because you’re a Game Master, the key to win this war is to get a lot of nations help you. Then, the first one I will do is conquer all of the nation. Massacre the kingdom who didn’t take my side. After that I’ll rape all the beautiful princess to my full extent.”

“You’re really crazy huh!”

Indeed, this guy is really crazy! Maybe he had some of… screw loose… in his… head… wait! Isn’t this man which Mogu talking about a moment ago!

“Heh! …not stop at that, I’ll make all of nation to search and hunt for all of the candidate. If they can’t find even a single one of the candidate, I’ll annihilate that kingdom from the history. So you know what I mean, right… Mogu?”

“You mean, you’ll plant a seed of guilty to them”

“Exactly! If they want to stop me… then the only reason is too kill me! But, if they can’t kill me, they are the one to be killed by me. Even if they can kill me, there will be another me that born among us… Cheater Candidate! …but I have one simple question that I’ll ask to the other candidate if I meet them personally”

“What is that?”

“Is they really can massacre a battalion that I deploy to hunt them? I mean… its human we’re talking about after all. If they want to stop me, of course they must massacre the army that I command to hunt them. If they think they can kill me without any casualties… they are too naïve.”

“why do you say that they are too naïve?”

“After all… if they can’t even kill a people who have a family, I’ll be the one who will execute them in the end. So, the only reason is to kill me before I can make my move, right. Even if you, Mogu lie to me that the only living thing who can hear my voice right now is you… the question will change based on the condition. In the end, who am I, right?”

He is… a real deal! I must stop him… but with just a cheat shield ability, that isn’t enough to stop him!

When I starting to think that, I can’t hear any voice from that man. After all, I can’t believe Mogu… even another candidate, I can’t believe them. But, I still have to struggle to stay alive no matter what happen.

“Mogu!”

“What is it?!”

“Give another Cheat that I can use to attack a man like him!”

“Oh ya~ but I’m sorry, Rule are rule so I can’t give you another cheat ability.”

“What!”

Are you Kidding me!

“But, I’ll give you an exception… I’ll give you 10 shield that can you use to attack and of course there will be something you must pay to use them. Are you fine with that?”

Some punishment! Like I give a shit to that kind of thing!

“I take that!”

“Hehehe~ it really become more interesting!”

Around 20 minutes later, Mogu open all the communication to another candidate and continue his final explanation.

“As you can see, there will be a punishment if you kill another candidate before all of you turn adult. But, if you put them in worst state before they turn adult, feel free to do it! Maybe like… cut both of their leg and hand… something like that~”

Even Mogu still explain it, I can hear some of voice around me said who is the one that declared such a declaration before. As I expected, I must assume that the other candidate know about my cheat ability too. Its kind troublesome in a lot of way.

“Ah one thing I forget to tell you, maybe a lot of you will ask this in later time, but after thinking about it I find it troublesome to explain it again and again so first, all of you can wish a dead person to be revive. Second, all of you can ask 3 question from me except another candidate skill, location, and something along that. Third, when you born maybe you’ll ask something about your birthmark later… so, I’ll tell you know that your birthmark is your emblem. It means everyone will have an emblem that represent your current status and type of your cheat skill.”

Type of… our cheat skill?

“What do you mean?”

A voice of a girl I didn’t hear from the start suddenly ask about the same thing that make me wondering.

“It means, it will represent about your cheat trait. There is 16 of them and start from 10 the weakest and 3 Joker emblem as the strongest. Where Diamond represent Magic, Clover represent Intelligence, Heart represent Support, and Spade represent Strength.”

It looks like a poker card huh….

“When a Heart face a Diamond, Heart will have an advantage. When Diamond face a Spade, Diamond have an advantage. When Spade face a Clover, Spade have a advantage. When Clover face a Heart, Clover Have an advantage. And the other conditions is normal like Heart face a Spade there will be a normal condition.”

What should I say… its like rock-paper-scissor game, right?

“And the last thing I want to tell you all is—”

This time a voice of man that I heard 20 minutes ago interrupt Mogu next words and it really make me want to punch him. Of course, a very strong one. Because what he said—

“—Lets Play The Game!”

—Will become a starting sign of this crazy deadly game between us… “Reincarnated Cheater”.
