《The Adventures of the Mask Maker》Slaying and Trading

Taking a few quests today to appease the boredom I'm experiencing. I chose three slaying quests and one trading quest. Leaving the guild, I sent a mental transmission to Blackie. Its been more than a week now, so I guess I'll take Blackie out for some hunting and gaining experience. When Blackie arrived, he was overly excited. It seems he too was feeling bored from resting for a week. I hopped on Blackie and we flew towards the Wyvern's Nest in the southern part of the East Barrier Mountains.
Upon arriving near the vicinity of the Wyvern's Nest, I see fire and blood everywhere. Bodies of baby Wyverns littered everywhere. Did something happen? I urged Blackie to move in slowly and quietly. Soon, sounds of battle can be heard as roars and clashing sounds resounded the skies. When we approached behind one mountain, we see a large Firebird in battle with two smaller-sized Wyverns. Amidst the sounds of battle, a conversation between the flying monsters can be heard.
"Why did you kill my babies?!" One of the Wyverns screamed (let's call her Wyvern A)
"Hmph! It was you false Dragons who attacked and killed my little brother." The Firebird retorted.
"PROOF! Where's your proof?" Wyvern B questioned.
"Right before he disappeared, he sent me a message saying he was battling a Wyvern. Now, there's no sign of him and his life essence seems to have disappeared as well."
When I heard this, I gave Blackie a questioning look. Blackie responded via mental transmission, "The Firebirds are able detect the life essence of others once they are strong enough. Also, messages can be sent quickly through wisps of fire. The Firebird over there is one of the three Grand Elders and is also the older brother of the last Firebird we killed."
"I see."
At first it seems that the Wyverns are losing, but suddenly as if by a twist of fate, the ferocity of the battle caused some rocks above to loosen and fall on top of Wyvern B. Seeing Wyvern B distracted, the Firebird took advantage and pierced the Wyvern in the eyes, blinding him. Wyvern B screamed in pain as he flailed around and eventually crashes into a nearby mountain. Injured, Wyvern B tumbles down the mountain into the depths below. There were no signs of movement or any other sound so it was concluded that Wyvern B was dead. Wyvern A saw Wyvern B fall to his death and was angered. She charged towards the Firebird and was able to ram into him, pushing him into another mountain nearby. Seeing both Firebird and Wyvern on the ground, I leaped off of Blackie and using Roaming the Skies, I appeared before the two collapsed flying monsters. With a whirl of my skinning knife, I beheaded both the Firebird and the Wyvern.

Then, I stored the Firebird's and Wyvern A's bodies into my storage ring. I leaped down to the bottom of the mountain and checked to see if Wyvern B is dead or alive. Finding out that he was barely alive but unable to move, I walked up to him and asked (in Language of Dragons), "Your wounds are severe and I have no way of helping you. Should I put you out of your misery?"
Wyvern B was surprised for a moment by my ability to speak Dragon-tongue. "Fine. Make it quick."
"Before I do so, any requests I can help you with?"
"...Yes...take my claws and give it to my father the Wyvern Lord. He won't harm you and he'll know that I have perished. Tell him to avenge me."
With a sigh, the Wyvern closed his eyes. I raised the skinning knife and chopped down. After, I removed the Wyvern's claws and stored them into my bag, I store the rest of the body into my storage ring. Then, I flew north in search of a Roc to slay.
After searching around, I finally see a Roc hunting some deer in the distance. Wow...perfect for a sneak attack. I waited for the Roc to finally succeed in capturing a deer and is starting to eat it. While its in the middle of eating, it is natural for it to lower its guard. I urged Blackie to hover above the Roc as I waited for the right opportunity to attack. Seeing my chance, I fired a fireball at the Roc and then jumped down with my skinning knife in hand. The fireball hit the Roc and before the Roc could react, my knife plunged deep into the Roc's body. Jumping backwards to distance myself, I pulled out the knife. Blood squirted out from the Roc's body as the fire continued to burn. The Roc tried to take to the skies but Blackie met it with a fireball of his own. The Roc was hit in the head by the fireball and crashed back into the ground. Minutes later, the Roc died from blood loss and burns. After defeating the Roc, I hopped back on Blackie and we flew straight towards the Treacherous Ports in the Unknown Lands.

After a few hours, we arrived at the entrance of the Treacherous Ports. Once I got off of Blackie, I told him to wait for me outside of the port and hide himself from being seen by others. Then, I walked into the port. Looking around, I can see "propaganda" of who really owns the town. It seems that there are two groups that are in war with each other over the ownership of the town. One group was a bandit group who prided in their "fairness" and the other was a pirate group who loves to show off their "ruthlessness." Thinking about it, I may have a better chance of forming a trading relationship with the bandit group than the pirate group. So, I decided to ask around about the bandit group. Maybe because I was nosing around looking for their information, but suddenly someone smashed something hard at the back of my head. As I slipped into unconsciousness, I turned and saw my attacker...a bandit.
Never knew waking up could be so painful.... As I woke up, I flinched at the pain searing the back of my head. I looked around and see that I am tied to a chair. A group of bandits were standing in front of me and another one sitting in front of me...he must be the leader of the bandits.
"So you're awake. I heard you were asking around for us...why?" The bandit leader calmly asked.
"I wanted to form a trading relationship with you." I replied.
"Oh really? Why us?"
"Because I believe you guys are the real owner of this town."
"Haha, quite a tongue you got there. How do I know you're not a spy of those goddamn pirates?"
"Do I look like someone who goes around saying 'ARRGGH, where's me treasure!'"
"Haha. Speak, do you even have what we want?"
"What do you guys want?"
"Hmm...do you have a Fire Pearl?"
"Uh...."
"Of course you don't. The only one is with the pirate group."
"If I can get the Fire Pearl, what will you offer."
"Your life."
"Haha," I laughed dryly as I looked around the room. "How about that stone eyeball?"
"That old thing? Sure, its useless anyways. What you thought it was treasure? Haha, for a merchant, you sure do not have an eye for things...haha, maybe that's why you want that stone eyeball haha."
"Haha, maybe. So is this a deal?"
"Fine, it's a deal. You release him." The bandit leader said as he told one of his subordinates to cut my bindings.
Once, I was released and thrown out of the building, I headed towards the sea. Arriving at the docks, I see a huge pirate ship. This must be the Pirate Leader's ship. I took out my Ghost Mask and transformed into a ghost. Turning invisible, I entered the ship. Searching around, I finally found the Fire Pearl...it looked more like a red cannonball. Taking the Fire Pearl, I left the ship without anyone noticing me. Upon arriving back at the bandits' base, I presented the Fire Pearl to the leader. The leader looked at the pearl in surprise and threw the stone eyeball to me.
"Did not know you have the capabilities. Here's the stone eyeball. Haha, you're an interesting fellow. My name is Westby Claridge the Butcher - Big Boss of the Silver Bandits. Will you leave your name?"
"My name is Khaos the Mask Maker. Maybe in the future, we could trade more."
After finalizing the trade and finished introducing ourselves, I left the port and hopped on Blackie. We flew back towards the guild to report my completions.
