《The Adventures of the Mask Maker》The Slime Part 2

Khaos's POV
While heading towards the village, I turned my head back a few times to see if the slime was still following. Surprisingly, the slime has made its decision to follow me. Hmmm, how will I explain this to the humans in the village? My supporter?...nah who will believe...my pet?...that seems doable. I guess I should go with that. After making my decision on how to explain the slime to the humans, I continued walking. Soon, it was lunch time so I decided to take a break. I brought out a few sandwiches from my bag and gave some to the slime. The slime seems to be very happy as it gobbled up the food.
Upon arriving at the human village, the slime and I were met with some glares. Villagers with farming tools crowded around me readying to attack. They would have already if not for the chief of the village.
"Stop!" The chief shouted.
"Why? There's one of those hated slimes! If this human is with that slime then that makes it an enemy as well." Villager A asked.
"Woah guys! You've mistaken. This slime is one of my tamed monster pets. It doesn't attack humans." I tried to calm them down.
"Who would believe that you ugly bastard?!" Villager B pointed.
"Do you want to incur my wrath?" I replied as thick killing intent leaked out and permeated the surroundings.
The villagers paled and backed off a step or two. The chief raised his hand and said, "Hold, adventurer! Please calm yourself. You guys should calm down as well."
"But..." Villager A protested.
"NOW!"
The villagers all resigned and lowered their heads. The chief, after making sure that no one else were going to make rash decisions, turned his attention to me. "Are you the adventurer we asked for to help us with our problem?"

"Yes." I answered.
"That's great. We request help to kill some...uh...slimes...." The chief said awkwardly.
Looking at the slime next to me, I realized...yep this is awkward. I reassured the chief that the slime next to me has no problem fighting other slimes. After I received the quest and the location of the slimes, the slime and I headed towards the location.
Slime's POV
The human turned his head back a couple more times. Is he making sure I'm really following him? Well, I am and I've made my decision. Nothing is going to stop me from following this person. After a few hours of traveling, we stopped to take a rest. The human brought out a few sandwiches and fed me some. Excited, I rushed over and inhaled the sandwiches. Satisfied, I feel...happy. After some time of rest, we continued towards the human village. Upon arriving, I could see the glares of the villagers. I know that they are staring at me. Suddenly, a whole lot of villagers surrounded me and the human. They were waving around their farming tools at the human.
The villagers were arguing with the human about me. It seems my presence is a burden to the human. A sad feeling appeared in me...am I...will I be abandoned? It's likely. I was just about to leave when I heard the human...defending me?! If I had tears, I would be crying right now. This human...I will follow him forever. Even though I'm weak, I will still prove myself to be of use to him. Once the human received the quest - a slime slaying quest, we moved towards the location. Slaying slimes...I can do it...I hope.
Khaos's POV
Once I approached the location of the slimes, I observed the surroundings. The slimes, as expected, were not normal slimes. Instead, they were a cluster of Thunder-type violet slimes. There were more than 30 of them.

I looked at the slime next to me and said, "Stay here. It's too dangerous if you follow me while I'm attacking those slimes."
After making sure the slime heeded my cautioning, I charged towards the violet slimes. With a Dragon Leap, I landed in the middle of the slime cluster and the force of my landing stunned the slimes and blew them back. Taking out my skinning knife, I rushed forward. Taking advantage of the stun, I stabbed the knife into each slime and pierced through their cores. After about ten, the stun effect wore off and I repeated the process by Dragon Leaping again. Finally, after two more Dragon Leaps, I defeated all 30 of the violet slimes. Finished, I bend down and started collecting the violet slime gel into a few jars. Suddenly, I see the normal slime rushing towards me. Sensing something wrong, I turned around...and see a large violet slime lunging towards me. My hands are full with jars...my body is in a disadvantageous position...damn...this is going to hurt.
Slime's POV
Once we arrived at the destination, I could see the large number of violet colored slimes. Why are they violet colored? A different species? The human turned towards me and said, "Stay here. It's too dangerous if you follow me while I'm attacking those slimes."
Are they really that dangerous? Upon closer look of the violet colored slimes, I could see...what's that?...sparks? Could these slimes be of thunder-type? How come I don't have any special affinities? As I pondered over this, the human leaped into the middle of the slime cluster. Wow...when he landed, there was like a shockwave! The slimes blew back and the human quickly killed off nearly a third of the slime cluster. The human does this another two times. After killing off all the slimes, the human bend down and began collecting the slime water...why does he need that? Maybe confirmation of kills?
Suddenly, I see a large violet slime. It was rushing towards the human, who had his back turned away from the danger. In panic, I rushed forwards towards the human. The human saw me and immediately knew what was wrong. He turned around...but he couldn't defend himself. The large violet slime leaped towards the human! NOO!!! I sped up and leaped as well. Human...friend...I will protect you!

Celestial [A Progression Fantasy LitRPG]
Warning!Profanity, unconventional relationships, drug use, descriptive gore and intimacy. Celestial is a slow-paced and action-packed progression fantasy with elements from the LitRPG genre. The story focuses on the protagonist’s personal growth, violence, sex, exploration and adventure. Follow Zelaria as she embarks on her journey of exploration and adventure, seeking ever greater heights of power. With an affinity for the elusive and mysterious Arcane and a preference for the thrill of close combat she nonetheless chooses to walk the path of a mage. A mage may still use weapons but a warrior rarely casts spells as far as she knows. It’s a logical path for her even if others may call it insanity. What do they know? Most people who choose to specialize in wielding mana tend to pick a mage class aligned with their element. Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected. Nothing is going to stop her from enjoying all that the world has to offer, not the wish of her parents or even her death. I'll be aiming to upload 5 chapters in bulk every week.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

A Burglar, a Lawman, his scent hound, a Hitman, and a Hellhound chase each other through a very Spooky Forest on a quest for absolution, understanding, mercy, and fulfilment of duty. The story is mildly Slavic-fantasy, with a guest appearance from Baba Yaga and her house on hen's feet. It contains tight personal stakes and none of the human characters have magic powers or superhuman abilities. Nothing bad happens to the dog.
