I have to apologize dear reader, I was too ignorant and foolhardy in my last post, honestly, what was I even thinking. I should have done more research before trying to come up with a new premise rather than go in guns blazing hoping for the best.
.
.
Just between you and me, those concepts yesterday-me talked about, they were just horrible, but don’t tell him that, knowing him he probably wouldn’t be able to handle that critique. Luckily today I am better prepared reader, over the last twenty-four hours I have absorbed, nay, ingrained the very essence of tropes and clichés into my very being and I believe I have found the answer to my quandaries.
.
.
.
.
The answers being that I’m not very creative at all. I wasn’t sure at first, after all everyone can make a mistake or two, but no, I have not a single creative bone in my body.
.
.
However, I will not let this lack of innate skill stop me dear reader, if I must then I shall, through the use of nothing more than my own unadulterated willpower, make a masterpiece that will make even the heavens shed a tear.
.
.
.
Of joy, of course.
.
.
.
.
“So what are you going to do then?” you might ask yourself dear reader, well during my intensive training session I did not solely get a feel of tropes and clichés, but I came to a realization that may come as a shock to many, maybe I was too rigid in my thinking. I know, I know, me making a lapse of judgment? Perish the thought no, instead I would like to think that I have clouded my own view of the literary arts.
Maybe, my hostility towards tropes led me away from what is truly necessary for an author to do which is to make readers feel connected with his art, whether that requires the use of literary shortcuts or not.
.
.
So, with that self admission of failure aside, I would like to announce that I’m working on a new fiction. I cannot spoil anything just yet, but know that it shall be a serious project of passion.

the Mediator
Award-winning rock musician Kris Maya had just held a ground-breaking concert, with an arena packed with his most die-hard fans. His songs that contemplated the human condition: desires, love, pain, loss, fantasy and reality, and his philosophy towards life have garnered a great number of people to follow his every move and as he strummed the last chord that signaled the end of his song, he stumbled in pain and collapsed. With a smile, he closed his eyes on the curtains of his final concert in this life. As the applause of his show turned to become murmurs of worry and disbelief, he was happy and excited. Still, he felt that he was ready and he was anticipating his return to the world where all his past mistakes left a grueling and bloody mark on its history. This world that he filled with his music had taught him many lessons. In Earth, the power of music served as his gateway to learning. When he returns to his former world, his overwhelming power of magic will teach others the same lessons; the bloodshed being the only difference. It was now time to pay it forward.
8 90MERTICORE
Meet Ian. Ian is an IT consultant who accepted a supposedly impossible job for an incredible amount of money. However, he quickly learns why his colleagues avoided that gig like the plague. Ian now hates his job, and wants to be fired to get severance pay. However, things don’t go as planned when he downloads MERTICORE, a mysterious program that popped out of nowhere. After that, the life of Ian has changed drastically. Gone are the days of drinking bad coffee while staring at a screen. His days are now filled with magic, fighting weird creatures and even weirder people. Let’s not even mention the comrades he collects along the way, which are more often than not worse than the (numerous) enemies he makes as he bumbles through alternate dimensions. There’s also a disturbing number of laundromats for some reason. Release Schedule: One or two long(2.5k+ words) chapters per week, maybe more depending on real life.
8 143Alternative Reality Vol. 1
Note: Sadly, all things must come to an end and Volume 1 has been officially completed. Since I have now published the whole volume on amazon and enrolled it into KDP select, I can no longer keep the book uploaded on other platforms as per their requirements. Apologies for the inconvenience. If, by any chance, you'd like to support me there, you can find the book here: https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07MRDFR7V What do you do when life‘s got you hunched on the ground, crying and screaming for your mother? When negativity and black humor is the only entertainment you‘re getting? You run away to a different world, of course! And it just so happened that one such world was available and open for the downtrodden and distraught. Alternative Reality - a virtual reality platform with a suspiciously unoriginal name, already established as the most life-like experience one could spend their time on and Luke had plenty of time to spare. Now? He’s more than just Luke, the social outcast. Now, he’s also Wail - a lunatic magician who plays with fire without the mental aptitude or sense of responsibility necessary to safely handle it. Add in a petty and spiteful character and the conditions for mayhem are fully satisfied. Join now and witness his adventures, while the world around burns with more than a bit of fault falling upon his downward sloping shoulders. Disclaimer! The book contains morally ambiguous choices, violence, arson, vandalism, unnecessarily satirical portrayal of religious zealotry, profanity, background forced labor that looms dangerously close to slavery and much, much more.
