Dean walked through the gate into what looked like a bright white room. He looked around and only saw one figure, a girl. It was the girl. Dean turned and approached her. She returned around and gave a wide smile.
“It’s been a while, hasn't it?” she said. Dean just looked at her. He didn’t know what to feel. He wanted answers, and he wanted them now.
“Who the hell are you?” Dean asked.
“Is it that important?” Dean went to grab his sword but found that he could not move.
“Quite violent are we?” the girl said, “I haven't even done anything to you and you're trying to attack me?”
“I just want you to leave me alone.”
“And why would I do that, after all, I gave you that power you're using.”
“What?!?” Dean was dumbfounded. This crazy woman gave him his abilities? “Why me?”
“You're the person that my brother chose many millennia ago.”
“I wasn’t even alive back then, so you're lying.”
“HAHAHAHAHA,” the girl laughed hysterically, “Do you think that I’m human or something? I’m a literal fucking god!”
“But it still doesn't make any sense how the guy chose me.” Dean responded calmly, “Unless he could somehow see into the future.”
The girl sighed, “Whatever, fate will pull you to your destination eventually.” She snapped her fingers and a door appeared. It looked like it was made of black iron and was rusty.
“You are free to go,” The girl said. Dean felt he could move again and walked towards the door.
“Wait,” the girl said, “There is one more thing.” Dean turned around.
“My name, It’s Lucifer.” Before Dean could say anything, he was sucked into the door.

Dean was sucked into what looked like a cathedral. In front of him was the woman who appeared on the first day only this time, she had a pair of wings.
“Congratulations,” she said, “You have passed the trial and gained access to the world of Eden.”
Dean felt unimpressed by what she said, it felt too rehearsed. “That's cool I guess.”
The woman stepped to the side and revealed a small table with a crystal ball on it. “Touch this stone and you will be given one of many classes to accompany you on your journey.” Dean walked up to the stone and put his hand on it. The orb glowed a gray color before it quickly shifted to a bright red.
“Outstanding,” the woman said, “You got a unique class. You are going to etch your name in history.” Dean smiled and saw a door appear, this time it was white. “Now warrior, go make a name for yourself. Dean sighed and walked through the door.
-----
Dean was greeted with the sounds of people conversing and yelling. He looked down and saw that the place was a hotel. It looked like people who were also taken away were here ranging from businessmen to school girls. “Hey Dean, over here!” Dean turned toward the yelling and saw Rei waving her hand with the rest of the group. He walked over to their table and sat down. “What class did you get?” Rei asked.
“How do I see it?”
“You look at your stats from your symbol on your hand.”
Dean tapped his hand and looked at his stats

Dean saw that all of his stats had improved. It was like they were being held back and jumped up to where they were supposed to be. Dean was confused when he saw that Black Arrow was “Ready to Evolve”. He didn’t know what that meant, but it sounded like it was gonna be good.
“My class is The Jack of all Trades,” Dean told Rei.
“Cool, mine is Magic Swordsman,” Rei said, “Stella got Fire Mage, John got Ranger, Riz got Magic Warrior, and Robin got Wizard.”
“Sounds good.”
“We got gifts as well. As you can see, I got a new sword.” Rei lifted what looked to be a longsword. It had a red hilt and a stainless steel blade. “Where’s your gift?”
“The lady didn’t hand me one.”
“Did you check your pockets?” Dean sighed and reached into his pockets, there was something there. He pulled out what looked like black leather gloves. ‘What the hell,’ Dean thought, ‘Why gloves?’
“You should put them on,” Rei said, “A pop-up will tell you what they are if you do.” Dean put on the gloves and a pop-up did indeed appear.
[Gloves of Creation]
-- The Jack was always referred to as a jester because he could not master a skill. Instead, The Jack went traveling looking for a new purpose. The first skill he learned was blacksmithing, creating his first item, a pair of gloves, imbued with the same power as him.--
Dean looked at the message with surprise, ‘It sounds cool, but what do they do?’
“Did you figure it out?” Rei asked.
“Yeah, but I don’t know what they do.”
“The message usually gives a hint as to what they do.” Dean looked at the message again and understood. Dean put the gloves back on and put his magic power into them, creating a sword.
“Whoa, that's pretty cool.” Dean made the sword morph into a pair of knuckle dusters and then a dagger. ‘So that’s what it meant by the same power as him.’
Dean’s thoughts were interrupted by a man walking into the lobby. “Hello everyone,” he said, “I am Richter Eisenhower, the master of the International Fixer Association.

On the Road to Elspar (Book 1)
The year is 1329. The Huntress' War has entered its tenth year, inflaming competing nationalisms and pitting the Confederacy of Caldrein against one of the continent's superpowers, the Tenereian Union. Desperately outnumbered, the Confederacy has relied on the prowess of its famed Caldran mercenaries, with highly-trained and experienced warbands returning from foreign conflicts to the defense of their homeland, and it is on their backs that Caldrein has successfully mounted a valiant defense for a decade. But they are losing, and day by day, with all the grace of a sledgehammer, the vast Tenereian armies take one more bit of Caldran territory, one footstep at a time. Sixteen-year-old Neianne from the village of Caelon has submitted herself to Faulkren Academy, one of the centuries-old institutions established to train the next generation of Caldrein's elite soldiers of fortune, to learn the ways of wars for three years before embarking upon the defense of her country. Her dryad family once hailed from reclusive woodland communes isolated from Caldrein's complicated mainstream society, and her upbringing leaves the shy village girl unprepared to suddenly train alongside other apprentices from backgrounds as low as the dirty slums of Caldrein's cities and as high as the halls of aristocratic power. Yet the war is eroding the norms and traditions that the Caldran people have long considered part of their national mythos, and the tensions within the confederacy that have long simmered under the surface - race, class, community, identity - are slowly but surely dividing its people, and Neianne must grow and discover who she really is, even as the war that she is steadfastly training for comes to its inexorable end... On the Road to Elspar is a fantasy quest - a work of interactive fiction wherein readers get to vote on what happens next at critical junctures - that is the first entry in a story that follows Neianne of Caelon, which first began on July 20, 2016. Originally a three-part in medias res prologue to a larger story titled On the Elsparian Road, it was eventually decided that this section - which covers Neianne's three years at Faulkren Academy - become its own independent story due to length, structural, and accessibility reasons. Despite this being a reader interactive work of fiction, due to logistical and verification concerns, voting will only be counted on its thread on the forum Sufficient Velocity, where this story originally began. As such, the content here on Royal Road serves as a story-only archive. You are, of course, entirely welcome to enjoy On the Road to Elspar as a conventional work of fiction, just as you are welcome to comment, discuss, and provide critique. But if you would like to participate in the voting, then I would be honored to welcome you on Sufficient Velocity. To facilitate accessibility and to ensure the best reading experience, this story-only version of On the Road to Elspar will be updated at a periodic pace, even though further content exists, so as to not overwhelm new readers on Royal Road. If you enjoy this story, wish to binge it, and/or want to participate in voting immediately, you may of course read all additional content via the link provided above. This paragraph will be removed once the content on Royal Road catches up with what has already been posted in its original thread. Cover artwork by DreamSyndd.

8 118The First Primordial [DROPPED]
[Story dropped until further notice, I don't currently plan on restarting the story but will leave it as a possible option] During the Creation and before the inception of the Realms, there were 3 beings. Known as Primordials, beings even the God's knew little about that were rumoured to be myths or legends. Follow one of such beings that, given the unflattering name Arthur and the species of Demon, must figure out his place within the realms and find his fellow Primordials. Spending the beginning of creation within what will be called The White Realm then spending an unknown amount of time screwing around in the Demon Realm. Once he finally begins his story, he will be acquainted with a world full of grand vistas, religious nuts and floating rocks which will remove whatever little common sense he had remaining. Of course, there will be no shortage of trouble that will complicate things that (due to a poor ability in making good first impressions) will cause more than a few worlds changing events. These events include the destruction of a church and minor religion, including the death of that religion's God, messing with the reincarnated people and even introducing his own reincarnators along with the slight involvement of a war between the Demon Realm and the Creation Realm. Slow burn story; expect the story to be long with plot being introduced as it goes along. The story will include a main character with an actual mind and personality that will create, learn, and even destroy as the story progresses with an emphasis on what experiencing the other side of most novels, a perspective on that one whimsical god that brings the protagonist from one world to another that is only ever mentioned in the starting chapter. [PS- This will be my first time writing, so advice, tips and critiques will be appreciated. The release schedule is a bit iffy and unreliable but will mostly be every Sunday]
