《The True Jack of all Trades》Getting Acquainted

The boy walked up to the middle and introduced himself first, “My name is Angelo. '' Angelo said, “Our best bet of survival is to calm down and think. In order to calm down, I suggest we introduce ourselves.” Everyone looked at Angelo and nodded in agreement. A girl, who looked shy, stood up, and was visibly shaking. She had chestnut brown hair and her eyes were a deep green. “He-- Hello, my name is Julia,” she said, “Nice to me-- meet you g-- guys.”
Next was a guy with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. “Sup, my name is Zach.” After that, Gavin and Silvia introduced themselves. Then it was Dean’s turn. “Hi, My name is Dean. I hope we get along well.” Dean still had blood all over him, making him look unsettling. The last person was a little girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes. ‘How the hell did she survive?’ Dean thought.
“Hello everyone, my name is Jess.” Everyone looked at Jess with surprise. They all thought the same thing as Dean.
“Well then,” Angelo said, “Now that we are all acquainted, let us get a move on to this portal thing.”
“What if that lady was lying about it?” Zach said.
“I don’t think she’s the type of person to do that.”
“Yeah but how would you know?” Gavin rebutted.
“You’re right, I don’t, but the least we can do is try.”
Dean looked at Angelo and became suspicious about his actions. He was taking the lead without saying anything and was very confident. It was unusual for someone to be that calm in this type of situation. That also meant that Dean wasn’t normal either. It was almost like Angelo knew this was going to happen

Angelo walked up to Dean, “What are you thinking so hard about?”
“Just survival methods to help us out,” Dean lied.
“Do you know how to make a campfire?”
“Vaguely.”
Angelo smiled, “Well why don’t you help us out with that, it seems to be getting dark.”
Angelo clapped his hands and told everyone to rest for the night. He then told Dean to grab the stuff for a campfire. After a while, Dean got a fire started and volunteered to keep watch. He chose to keep watch so that he could think more about who the girl was and what kind of situation he was in. He sat on a branch in a tree and began to dive into his thoughts. ‘What was I thinking back there, and that voice, where did it come from?’ Dean remembered the girl’s voice swimming in his head when the skeletons attacked. It sounded angelic and sweet but with a hint of crazy. Dean was still questioning his sanity after that. He questioned whether or not his decisions from here on would be rational.
His thought process was interrupted by the sound of leaves crunching. Dean instantly hopped down from the tree and gripped his sword. He looked into the trees and saw the silhouette of a girl running away as she giggled. ‘Dude, fuck this shit!’ Dean ran back to the campsite. Everyone was understandably having trouble falling asleep. After that scene, no person would sleep soundly
“Oh Dean, what do you need?” Angelo asked when he saw Dean
“Can you keep watch for me? I heard a noise and I’m gonna go check it out.” Angelo nodded his head and stood up. Dean walked back to the trees and followed the girl. ‘Why am I doing this?’ he thought, “I’m not a horror movie character!’ He kept walking until he reached what looked like a shrine. Dean walked up to it, reluctantly, and looked at what was there.

“I’m glad you came to find me,” a voice whispered in Dean’s ear. He turned around and saw nothing there, ‘What is going on man?’ Dean looked back at the shrine and there was now a picture there. It was the girl in his dream, with her face scratched out, leaning on another person, a man. Dean picked up the photo and turned it around and saw words on the back. It said “Me with my dearest brother”. Dean flipped the picture back to the front and looked closer at the guy.
The man had short white hair and red colored eyes. ‘He looks weird,’ Dean thought.
Dean grabbed the picture and took it back with him to the camp. He looked up at the sky and saw it was almost morning. He walked back to the group and saw Angelo leaning against the tree. “Did you find anything interesting?” Angelo asked.
“I found a weird picture.” Dean pulled out the photo and showed it to Angelo.
“What do you mean picture, it’s blank.”
Dean looked back at the photo, “But the picture is right there!”
Angelo sighed, “Well, seeing that we are in a new world, a lot of shit is going on so it doesn’t surprise me. Let’s just go to sleep.” Angelo then got up and went to bed. Dean looked down at the picture and stared at it. ‘What the hell is going on?’ He then looked at Angelo, ‘Something is up with him as well’
