Chapter 16: Kane’s C-kor(core)! / Kane’s New Device!
“Damnit, this one isn’t right either.” Evan said, crushing what looked like a mana core in his hands.
“Fine. Let’s try this. Maybe adding telekinetic stuff would be good? Oh! What about fire and ice for cooling and heating? Precision tools… hmm” Evan mumbled, tinkering with a new core
“YES! Finally, Jeez. That took a while. It’s done.” Said Evan
He had a bit more time than he thought, so he remade Kane an entirely new custom core. It was equal to any other naturally made cores. He made this one a bit special, though. What it governed wasn’t an average category. It allowed Kane access to something Evan called Magical Crafting, and a bonus auto target magic. it seemed random, but they were actually synergistic for a mana circuit's increased effectiveness. He could use his mana to help him build stuff, despite being bad at magic. He had engraved lots of mana circuits and patterns into the core. The complex structure was not something he could mass produce. The only ones that seemed anywhere close to any form of large production were first gen cores. He took a small device and put it on top of the core. The core turned into liquid and flowed into the small device. Or at least that’s what it looked like.
“Kane. Machine room. Now. Anne, come with us.” Evan said, walking into the workshop
“Woah, ok, one sec!” Yelled Kane. He zoomed around doing multiple different things.
“The heck kinda mess is this? I’ve never seen you let the shop get this dirty in god knows how long. What the hell were you working on?” Evan asked
“These!” Said Kane, holding up a pair of odd looking goggles.
“Goggles? Wait no. Wait what is that? Some kinda digivice?” Evan asked

“I’ve never heard of that, but here, sit over here and put it on. I added a nifty little thing to it.” Said Kane
“Are we ever going to go to that machine?” Evan asked
“Cmon, I spent a lotta time doing this!” Kane said
“Wait, where’s Anne?” Evan asked
“Doesn’t matter. goggles, attach to Evan. Initiate power on in 3 seconds.” Said Kane
“No switch? Disappointing, Kane. it isn’t often you invent something yourself, though.” Evan said
Boop
Boop
Beep!
Evans body went slack, so did Kane’s. They saw a bright light.

The restaurant isn’t large, but it is a place where countless apex existences will rush into. There, you can taste egg-fried rice made from phoenix eggs and dragon blood rice. There, you can drink strong wine brewed from vermillion fruit and water from the fountain of life. There, you can taste the barbecued meat of a ninth grade supreme beast sprinkled with black pepper. Smoking Bandits
With a gaze that was hard to describe, Lark stared at his body in the mirror. Not his body as a human, but his other body. Head of a reptile with rows of sharp teeth, a 180 cm tall body that is full of muscles, covered in scales formed green and black tiger stripes. Clawed hands and feet, with a tail strong enough to crush an adult neck. 'Man. . . can I still be called a human?' In the end, with a deep sigh Lark changed his form back into a human. A moment later, he came out of the room wearing a combat dress, tactical belt with shoulder strap, and jungle boots. While inserting a magazine into an AK-102, Lark muttered. 'Whatever, time to hunt Orcs.' *****

Arpeligo
A brother and sister struggle to operate their independent interstellar transportation company within the confines of discriminatory laws and arrogant aristocratic enterprises. But fortune blows their way when they stumble upon a relatively ignorant human who also happens to be a fully authorized Citizen of the Empire, with all the legal rights and responsibilities associated with that status. Taking advantage of the situation, the sister proposes a deal to the citizen to try to secure their tiny company's future. But things are not what they seem and war between the noble families is reaching a breaking point within the sectors, causing mayhem, instability, and disastrous consequences for our interstellar crew on their trial run with the citizen. ** The setting is largely influenced by my experience in the transportation industry. I hope you enjoy it!

The Garbage Man
2021/10/20 - Taking this down for a complete rewrite. I like the plot but the writing on the first attempt is... Garbage :/ Jack was just waiting for the storm to pass. It wouldn't. What it did was take him on the journey of a lifetime. A lot of lifetimes, in fact. This is a cultivation/wuxia story at its core. May contain young masters, martial arts and magic. * 14/08/2020 - Rough editing done on the published chapters, hooray! Now to resume normal - edited! - releases.

Redeeming the Lost (A Comforter's Tale)
Life is always fun when you never get into trouble for causing mischief. Julie is a pro at keeping her packmates on their toes with her innocent fun. It's a perk of being a Comforter and never losing her puppy-like appearance. Admittedly, there are times when her skills are needed, and she takes her job quite seriously then. She isn't a fighter, but rather, is one who cares for others' hearts. A Comforter. After all, who doesn't want to hug a puppy? ---------------------What do most werewolf books have in common? They either focus on mates or on fighting. I decided to try a more unique route. No romance will be found here - this book focuses on the ties of friendship and hope.Thank you to Christine Leonardi from DeviantArt for the cover, and to @JimenaVivancoo for polishing it into an ebook cover!
