Chapter 9: Boredom. / Conquering The World.

Evan was bored one day. He went over to his company to visit Kane.

“Hey Kane, you in here?” Evan asked opening Kane’s workshop

Music was blaring, Kane loved anime songs.

“Oh. I like this one.” Said Evan, pausing

“Oh, wAit, right. I came here to ask Kane something.” Said Evan

Evan saw Kane under a machine Evan had drawn schematics for a few hours earlier

“Oi, Kane!” Evan said

“What now?” Kane asked. He had just gotten into the zone, focusing on the machine.

“Well I had a small question.” Evan said

“You? A question? and you want me to answer it?” Kane asked

“Will you answer me, or is that a no.” Evan asked

“Uh, depends, is it a serious question or casual.” Kane asked

“Eh, kinda both I guess? It’s why I’m asking you.” Said Evan

“Wait, then what the hell is it?” Kane asked

“Do you wanna take over the world? Peacefully of course. We kinda need more resources or whatever.” Asked Evan

Kane stared at Evan with a blank look.

“Sure”

Kane had said it without thinking.

He had forgotten Evan was serious about the weirdest and most random yet still serious things.

“Got it, I’ll go get some stuff done.” Said Evan

“Uhm. Ok? Wait, why the heck. Ah, nevermind. You’ll just give up when you can’t do it. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.” Kane said

“Don’t worry, I have it all planned out. I’ve had it planned for quite a while, in fact.” Evan said, smiling

“Fine.” Said Kane
