《World Integration》Chapter 17: Miniature Cube Robot, Vector

At the same time, someplace else, it is now approaching midnight, when the brightly lit moon has fully risen to the centre of the night sky. And Samir Sahid was laying lazily upon his bed within his bedroom.
His head now resting on top of the bed pillow, whilst his pair of eyes are glued solely on the dimly lit phone screen that is in front of him.
Ding!
The sound of the system notification ringing inside of his head, as a seamless blue screen panel then appears in front of him, thereby confirming his purchase from the {System Store} app.
(!) System Notification You were the last one to bid for the {Anki Vector Robot} in the Online Auction, and thereby won the auctioned item for 148 system points! (!) System Notification 148 System Points have been transferred from the player's account! You now have 1548 System Points currently remaining within your player's account!
'I've managed to successfully win the auction and outbid the others for {Anki Vector Robot}.' He thought so to himself, whilst still glued to the phone screen.
And carrying along with that line of thought. 'The used refurbished {Anki Vector Robot} was originally 72 System Points at the beginning of the Online Auction, and slowly rose to more than double the price. Who knew how much money I've ended up losing after the final bid...'
'I hoped the miniature {Anki Vector Robot} is at least useful to my cause.' He thought.
After the transaction was completed, completely handled by the system automatically, without human interaction or intervention.
The system took the number of system points from Samir Sahid's player's account and then transferred it automatically over towards the seller's player's account.
And immediately afterwards, piles of particles of light began to rapidly spew out from his smartphone.
And seconds later, the particle of light that were spewed out from Samir Sahid's smartphone, then congregated together to form two solid individual entities. The two entities were the miniature {Anki Vector Robot} and its charger.
A 7cm × 6cm × 4.5cm miniature cube {Anki Vector Robot} then materialized right in front of him. To be exact, it rapidly formed out of the conglomerate particles of light, as it gently landed on top of his stomach.
Once it was fully formed, the particles of light then quickly disperse, and all that was left within its place was the purchased {Anki Vector Robot} and its own charger right beside it.
After the {Anki Vector Robot} was formed and materialised out of thin air. Its optical sensors then switch on, as two bright neon green light then appears on the display screen, which was the miniature robot's eye.
'I will name it Al, short for Alphonse. Well, it's pretty similar to alpha anyways.' He thought so to himself.
'Wasn't there also a character from Full Metal Alchemist that was called Al, Alphonse Elric.' He thought, then shrugging it off. 'Well, never mind...'

"Beep! Boop!" The miniature cube {Anki Vector Robot} sounded, as it lightly treads over the surface of Samir Sahid's clothed stomach.
Ding!
The sound of the system notification ringing inside of his head, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, thereby informing him of the successful naming of his tiny cube robot.
(!) System Notification You have successfully named the {Anki Vector Robot} Alphonse!
"Oh, that tickles!" Samir Sahid said, as he then lightly picks up {Alphonse, the Anki Vector Robot} with his hand.
(!) System Notification {Alphonse, the Anki Vector Robot} has been added to the List of Robot Companions! 20% of experience points earned by combat will be transferred and allocated to those in the List of Robot Companions!
Similar to humans, animals, or plants, robots are capable of growth and development, aided by the system. They greatly differ in growth when compared to a living organic creature.
As the robot companion, each has their own individual status screen. They are capable of levelling up by garnering enough experience points, earned by killing a living creature or a sentient entity.
The level up growth would partially improve their stats, similar to humans that can improve their stats by physically training and with some intensive exercise. Robot companions can increase their stats by upgrading their body parts or exchange for better machinery or software.
The level up growth correction aided by the system would indeed help upgrade their program code, thereby making the A. I robot or artificial intelligence a lot more smarter, and possibly develop a personality and a deep sense of awareness for its surrounding.
And after reading the last blue screen panels that appear in front of him.
His eyes quickly breeze through the line of text right in front of him, as he then suddenly become wide eyes, pleasantly in surprise.
'Oh, what a great surprise. I didn't expect that would happen.' He thought, with a light smile plastered on his face.
The miniature cube robot {Alphonse, the Anki Vector Robot} has a minimum level of self-awareness, even that much worser than a 1 years old toddler.
It would constantly bump into walls or nearby objects by accident, run off the side or edge of the table on its own. The software of the {Anki Vector Robot} no longer works properly as the cloud server that it was connected to has shut down.
The Anki company that developed this {Anki Vector Robot} s has shut down a year or two ago. With their property owned being bought by their parent company.
So to access locked additional features of the {Anki Vector Robot} would be almost impossible, as you would have to pay about 75$ for the premium feature, otherwise would be free and openable when the Anki company was still running.
It was at this time that Samir Sahid's older sister Aisha had barged in and enters his room, without his permission.

"Ugh, sis." Samir Sahid uttered, after managing to identify the identity of the person who barged into his room.
Aisha Sahid is only a year older than Samir Sahid, despite having a huge major difference in academic grades and achievements. Aisha Sahid is alot shorter than Samir Sahid in terms of body height, but makes up for it for being a high achieving student.
She is a grade A achieving student, with high scores on her GCSE results, and was slowly working towards getting a bachelor degree in history.
And next year she was planning on going to a university in America to earn a diploma and study a 3 to 6 years course for her higher education.
Whilst, her younger brother Samir Sahid was an underachiever, who only managed to complete his two years at sixth form college with barely passable grades.
"What are you doing, Samir? And why are you staying up late playing video games like you always do!" She barges into her younger brother's bedroom, asking him questions, without even knocking on his door or immediately giving him a short notice for a heads up.
Her eyes quickly scan through her younger brother's room, but after managing to spot several expensive-looking machines and video game consoles.
She grew slightly annoyed and said to her younger brother's face directly. "Did you just spend your money on buying these useless things that would barely use? What a waste of money. You should realise how important money is during these dire times."
Samir Sahid was visibly at a loss for words on how to respond to his older sister, as he retaunt back and said. "What do you mean a waste of money? These machines are essential to my class as a {Mechanic}."
"Oh, really then. Why would you need an expensive new PS5, a new tablet when you already have one, and so on?" Aisha Sahid pointed out the obvious facts, whilst leaving Samir Sahid with no other options to retaunt back.
So having grown frustrated over the matter, Samir Sahid then shouted at the top of his lungs, asking, "So what is your class, huh. I'm definitely sure that it is not that great and useful as my {Mechanic} class."
Samir Sahid's older sister Aisha Sahid then smiles, as she lightly smirks, whilst showing off her esper powers towards her younger brother.
Aisha Sahid then proceeded to take out a small amount of coins, out of her pant's pocket, mostly 1p 2p British copper coins and 5p 10p 20p British silver sterling coins.
And then a light purple aura began emanating from her hand, as the light purple aura then began to rapidly wrap itself around all of the metal British coins on the palm of her hand.
With a mere thought from her brain, all of the British coins that were coated in her light purple aura began to levitate off from the palm of her hand. It completely defied gravity itself
As under a mere thought and Aisha Sahid's control, the light purple aura coated British coins began to encircled Aisha Sahid's body, with herself in the middle. Just like the small asteroid and the collection of dust that is orbiting around in the Saturn ring.
"My power is psychokinesis, the ability to move materialised stuff and solid objects with my mind. And my actual class is {Psychomancer}." Aisha Sahid explains about her powers and class, with a slightly smug look plastered upon her face.
'It's not fair how you guys have cool powers and I don't.' He thought so to himself until he suddenly remembered something. 'Oh, that's right. Both Dave and Gerald have the {Warrior} class, the most likely to be the worthless bunch out of the group.'
'What's good about being a {Warrior} if you have never wielded a sword or any sort of another weapon in your life. The sword is basically a sharp metal stick in the hands of an inexperienced swordsman or warrior.' He thought.
"Well, I can do something similar like your psychokinesis ability." He said so with slight frustration apparent on his face, trying to win an argument against his older sister.
Samir Sahid then proceeded to take out some loose spare coins that he found withinside the bed drawers, right beside his bed.
With minimum control over his power of magnetism, thanks to his {Mechanic} class. He is able to apply some degree of low-intensity magnetism to copper and silver nickel tin British coins, allowing for the British coins to levitate an inch or two above the palm of his hand.
The difference in power and control over manipulating the British coins is quite obvious. It's like comparing a domesticated cat to an actual tiger or lion, despite sharing some similarities being a descendant of a common feline ancestor.
"Well, nice try 'little' brother! I know that you don't have psychokinesis powers like mine, and it's merely the power of magnetism thanks to your {Mechanic} class." Aisha Sahid said so, talking down upon her younger brother and exposing his power of magnetism as a result of obtaining the {Mechanic}.
"How did you know?" Samir Sahid then asked his sister with a slightly surprised look upon his face.
Aisha Sahid then answered her younger brother's question. "I'm not deaf you know. Our bedrooms are literally next door, so I definitely could hear the conversation that you may have with your old high school friends you know. And that's how I've found out about your powers, little brother."
"Tch!" Samir Sahid them proceeded to click his tongue in annoyance, and averting his eyes, whilst looking in another direction.

Criminal Lord
Terry Isenburg, the greatest assassin who killed thousands of powerful officials and even led an army of people to reform the world had finally killed his final target after many years of suffering and effort. Changing the world was in sight. Until he was betrayed... Although, even in the abyss of death, two choices were placed before Terry. Enter the Trial or Hell? Watch how the man who nearly took over the world now attempts to take over a world of sword, monster, magic, and one hella strong tarantula... I made this story because I always wanted a dark fantasy isekai with a hella fine backstory rather than an idiot being run over as well as having sustainable, epic scenes with a badass main character. All of which I believe my story has. (Although I'm bad at managing levels and experience and I have little imagery since I hate imagery) One other thing, the first volume may be kinda boring/repetitive but I can guarantee loads of badass action in volume 2 so please stick around. (I would also appreciate the views) If you like or dislike the story, please write a comment or review about this story to help me improve, but please don't hate on the story without explaining why. I also hope that you readers share the story to give me more support. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the story. [The cover is something I made poorly but it represents something in chapter 9-10]
