《World Integration》Chapter 16: Who Are You?

Seeing no obvious reasons to refuse the offer that was given by the system, Albert Lee then immediately press on the 'accept' button in order to confirm his decision.
Ding!
The system then recognises Albert Lee's input command, as he then heard the sound of the system notification inside of his head, the blue screen panel that is currently in front of him then disappears quickly replaced with a new one.
(!) System Notification You have chosen to assign the {Blacksmith} class to one of your three subclasses slots! (!) System Notification As a prerequisite for obtaining the {Blacksmith} subclass, you have to acquire the blacksmith apprentice starting skill [Basic Blacksmith Knowledge Lv.1][Blacksmith Strength Lv.1]!
By obtaining the [Blacksmith Strength] skill after assigning the {Blacksmith} class to one of the three subclasses slots, he could instinctively feel that his arm strength has improved by a smaller margin.
However, when he is wielding a blacksmith hammer or any sort of hammer, that output physical damage that he exerts with the hammer drastically increased.
This is because of the stats boost that was given in a way to help that user get more attuned with their subclass. Unlike the main class that has a permanent stats growth to all attributes stats upon levelling up, whilst the subclasses focuses only on the three main attribute stats that are often associated with that said particular subclass.
And for the {Blacksmith} subclass that focuses on three main attributes stats categories; strength, dexterity, endurance.
Number 1 is raw strength to be able to wield a blacksmith hammer and handle and other heavy blacksmith tools.
Number 2 is dexterity for being able to swing the heavy blacksmith hammer with speed, precision, and finesse to hit the metal ingot.
Number 3 is endurance to be able to swing the heavy blacksmith hammer for a long duration until the ingot is completely hammered into the desired shape and form.
After assigning the {Blacksmith} subclass to his first subclass slot, he then proceeded to finish the second {Crude Steel Sword} by carefully repeating the same process and whatever he just did for the first {Crude Steel Sword} that he made the first time.
Ding!
With the second {Crude Steel Sword} being completed, he then heard the sound of the system notification ringing inside of his head, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him.
(!) System Notification You have completed an uncommon rank grade 2-star {Crude Steel Sword}! 245 experience points for the {Blacksmith} subclass has been gained! (!) System Notification
Enough experience points have been acquired. The {Blacksmith} subclass has levelled up and become Lv.2!
Plus 2 strength, 1 dexterity, 1 endurance attribute stat points!

For classes that are non-combative like the {Blacksmith} subclass which falls under the crafting category. They can gain experience points for each item or piece of equipment that they specifically crafted.
Samir Sahid's {Mechanic} class for example can gain experience points and level up by crafting items or repair pieces of equipment, so long as that piece of equipment falls under the machine or technology categories.
So it is possible to gain a huge load of experience points by constantly disassembled and reassembling a small firearm handgun.
However, a small quantity of experience points will be awarded as a result, which is a tiny fraction of experience points that can be gained from crafting a new item.
At the same time, the {Mechanic} class user can also identify the strength and weakness of the target item, and made some modifications to the target item to make its performance better.
They can also possibly gain the blueprint schematics and mental knowledge to reproduce the target item through skill and experience of dissembling and reassembling the target item, like how Han Xiao did in the [Legendary Mechanic].
'I've managed to have levelled up my {Blacksmith} subclass twice. Well, neat.' He thought so to himself and smiled mischievously, whilst eyeing the two {Crude Steel Sword}s that he is holding within his hands.
"Appraisal!" He spoke the spoke keyword out loud in order to activate the [Appraisal] skill and have the {Crude Steel Sword} appraised.
Ding!
The sound of the system notification is heard, as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, it showed the item status of the {Crude Steel Sword} being appraised.
d of the system notification as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, displaying the stats and additional information of the item he just appraised.

Item Description
The {Crude Steel Sword} was forged by an inexperienced blacksmith and the material is made from a recycled steel metal washing line pole.
'The stats of the {Crude Steel Sword} weren't all that great, but when dual wielding it would certainly make up for it.' He thought.
It was at this time that Albert Lee's father had already exited his small period of secluded cultivation, and due to filth being expelled from his body in the form of a black substance. It there caused him to smell extremely bad, so he then decided to have a quick bath, during the time Albert Lee was forging the two {Crude Steel Sword}s.

After finishing the quick bath, and cleansing his body of the black filth and substance that was sticking to his clothes and body.
He then got a quick change of clothes from his bedroom before heading downstairs to check out whatever he is doing downstairs to cause that loud ruckus.
'I wonder what my son is currently doing to make such loud noise.' He thought so to himself, whilst growing curious over the matter.
As the father went down the stairs, a figure then appears within Albert Lee's line of sight.
The outlined figure of Albert Lee's father then didn't match with the figure he had in mind. The mental image that he was so used to, growing accustomed with his everyday life. So when his father's body figure changed, it thereby becomes harder to recognise.
'Who is this, man? Though he does bear some resemblance to my father.' Albert Lee thought so to himself, whilst eyeing his father.
Albert Lee's father was originally in his late thirties nearing towards his early forties. His rapidly ageing grey hairs due to poor genetics, contributing to his somewhat shaved bald head, made him seem all the more like a middle-aged old man.
His wrinkles and crease over his forehead had developed over the years due to a poor skincare routine and long term exposure to working in the back kitchen of a fast-food restaurant. The oil from cooking fried foods had accumulated under the skin and pores, thereby making the skin look much worser than it actually is.
The overlapping figure of the man that is standing before him right now greatly differs from the mental image and visual looks of the so-called father that he had in mind.
Due to the long term of no exercising properly, his father had gained incredible weight. Thereby making him look a bit fat in appearance.
However, due to the high temperature that is released off from his body, with each consecutive breakthroughs within his cultivation base. The excessive fat on his immediately then burns away, with the filth and impurities being rapidly expunged from his mortal body, thereby making his figure more slimmer and closer to the average man.
"What do you mean, son? Who else would I be other than your father?" His father said, showcasing a look of concern.
'There is only one way to confirm the identity of this man that stands before me, and that is to check his status screen with appraisal to verified his identity.' He thought so to himself, whilst coming up with a plan.
'Appraisal!' He spoke the keyword out loud in order to invoke the Appraisal skill that he had.
Ding!
The sound of the system notification ringing inside of his head, a blue screen panel then appears in front of him, displaying his father's status screen and additional information for him to read.
Status Screen Name: Trung E. Lee Age: 39 Gender: Male Race: Human Cultivation Base: 4th Layer Qi Condensation Stage Body Cultivation: Lv.1 {Fleshly Body 1st Layer} Main Class: {Cultivator} Subclass: N/A Bloodline: N/A Pysique: Ordinary Physique Sect/Guild: N/A Hidden Aliases: Combat Potential: 227 Grade: F+ Titles: Stats/Attributes Health Point: ???/??? Hunger Point: ???/??? Stamina Point: ???/??? Spiritual Qi Point: ???/??? Strength: ??? Intelligence: ??? Agility: ??? Wisdom: ??? Endurance: ??? Willpower: ??? Defence: ??? Perception: ??? Dexterity: ??? Charm: ??? Vitality: ??? Luck: ??? Spirit: ??? Fame: ??? ??? Unallocated Stats Points System Store Points: ???
Due to the great difference in strength and power between the two, father and son, much of the father's information and stats were thereby hidden or was reported as question marks because of the level the {Appraisal} skill was too low.
And any information that is already known and has been made public for Albert Lee to see, was thereby given permitted by the system.
'So he really is my dad.' Albert Lee thought so to himself, slightly surprised by it all, as he then confirms the information that he saw from his father's status screen.
'My father's combat evaluation is almost ten times the amount of mine, with grade still stuck at F- and he is F+. So how could there be such a big difference in strength in such a short amount of time? Did father buy something from the {System Store} to increase his strength or something?' He thought.
After inspecting his father's status, he suddenly remembered something. 'If I remember correctly. Dad, must have chosen the Ancient path and managed to luckily acquire the {Cultivator} class.'
'And according to my knowledge of reading many immortal cultivation novels over the years. There are four realms of cultivation, and that is the Qi Condensation Stage, Foundation Establishment Stage, Gold Core Stage, and finally the Nascent Soul Stage." He thought so to himself.
'And whatever cultivation realm that is above the Nascent Soul realm differs greatly from one cultivation novel to another as it depends on the author and writer's creativity and passion. So it's not a surprise that he bought some pills from the {System Store} to rapidly increase his cultivation base.' Albert Lee thought so but his reasoning and deduction was spot on.

8 93Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

8 80My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!
