The sound of the Windows 10 generic system notification.

Upon hearing the sounds of the Windows 10 generic system notification, and there was a small popup system notification at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Damien Blake then clicks on the notification icon on the bottom right-hand corner, showcasing the information that is associated with Whatsapp and Albert Lee's text message that was sent through the group chat.

"Oh, Albert just went online again. Gerald why don't we just end the current live group call and make a new one, so that he could join the live group call." Damien Blake said so over the live group video call.

"Alright, then." Gerald Quinn said, as he then immediately left the live group video call, and the others soon follow suit.

After once everyone has left the live video group call, Gerald Quinn then started a new live video group call, and everyone within the friend group then accepted the request for a live group video call.

The desktop laptop screen is then immediately split into six individual smaller square boxes that completely filled up the entirety of the laptop screen.

"And we're back..." Gerald Quinn commented over the live group video chat.

Six individual people then appear within the six boxes that filled the desktop screen, and Albert Lee was one of them. He then heaved a sigh of relief, seemingly leaning his back against the computer chair, relaxing.

"So what did you and your father talk about when he called you?" Anik Mahmud then asks over the live group video chat, which certainly does raises some of the others' interest.

"Oh, so what did he say?" Dave Rost said over the live video group call, as he then becomes nosy asking about Albert Lee's conversation with his father.

"He called me over to come and see the live broadcast and breaking news that was televised on tv." Albert Lee said so nonchalantly over the live video group call.

"Oh, about that. We all have already seen that broadcast, during the time that you were away. And some of us even have the broadcast open on Youtube in one of the tabs." Anik Mahmud said over the live video group chat in which everyone readily agrees with.

"He and I also fortified our homes by boarding up the windows and installing metal fences for protection against home invaders." Albert Lee said so to the friend group over the live video group chat.

Dave Rost then intervenes in the conversation, "There's no need for myself to be worrying about a couple of home invaders, as our family is quite big and can easily overpower the enemy."

Albert Lee then thought, 'Oh, that's right. Dave has alot of siblings. Not including his parents. If I remember correctly from high school, he said that he has about four brothers and three sisters.'

"Yeah, who knew that the mutant class system can be so strong. Especially that {Lizard Mutant} who kept tearing people apart from one after another." Dave Rost commented over the live video group chat.

"And we have one of our own here in our live video group chat." Damien Blake said, whilst the others were all looking seemingly in Anik Mahmud's direction.

Anik Mahmud's face then became serious, as he then puts on his thinking cap and hardened expression.

He spoke what was on his mind, that he thought up and conjured together with logical thinking. "Listen, guys. I have a theory on what Mutants power are and mostly what they are related to."

The discussion somehow manages to ignite everyone's interest over the matter, as they all then looked into Anik Mahmud's particular direction, and listening to the conversation quite intensely.

With all eyes locked upon Anik Mahmud's porcupine-like figure on the computer screen. Whilst, ears are focusing intensely on listening to whatever he has to say.

"I think that the mutant class system focuses mainly upon the physical human body, changing at a cellular level, evolving to have primitive beast-like animalistic features. Unlike the esper class system that focuses mainly upon supernatural psychic powers." Anik Mahmud's theory was created based upon his most basic knowledge of the mutant class system that he possesses.

"It sort of make sense. You kind of like Spiderman from Marvel and the other mutants from the X-men franchise who have animalistic like powers." Albert Lee commented over the live video group chat, and Anik Mahmud then finds no reason to disagree with his point of view.

As time passes by rather slowly, and members of the friend group are beginning to lose on whatever topic to talk about, Albert Lee and the others started to grow bored.

He unknowingly then got up from his computer chair and started to work out, doing some simple workout exercises and weight lifting in order to pass the time. A well-fit body can be advantageous during an apocalypse, as you can run away from danger much faster, and manoeuvring through tough terrains much faster.

"What are you doing, Albert? Are you perhaps working out? Squatting?" One of the people from Albert Lee's live video group chat then immediately spotted him doing some slight weird exercise poses, whilst behind the camera.

Whatever that person has just said had managed to attract all of the people within the friend group's attention, as they all then turned to look at Albert Lee's screen.

"Yeah, I'm working out." Albert Lee said so over the live video group chat before continuing, "Getting into shape and staying healthy is alot better than lazying around and doing nothing all day. Especially during these dire time where danger could easily linger around the corner, and a moment of vulnerability could mean certain death."

"Oh, I think you are exaggerating things that are beyond their proportions, Albert. There is no way that things are as dangerous as you think they are." Gerald Quinn said so over the live video group chat, whilst shrugging off his shoulders seamlessly.

Anik Mahmud then intervenes in the conversation here. "Gerald Quinn, you are not looking into the bigger picture. If this is the prelude to the disaster, and people started killing each other and looting the supermarket for no reason."

"Then I can't seriously imagine how bad the cataclysmic world-changing event is, designated as the Ragnarok by the Gods." Anik Mahmud said so with a straight face, and his facial expressions started to visibly darken, as he then thought about the worst thing that could happen during Ragnarok.

Anik Mahmud then said so over the live video group call. "The worst possibility is that aliens that are hostile towards mankind would try and invade us, or monsters would then appear out of nowhere driving us towards near extinction or possibly oblivion."

Although what Anik Mahmud just said may have seemed like a joke, he said so with a straight face and serious expression. It does hold some substantial seriousness towards his statement.

Ding!

The sounds of the notification screen as a blue screen panel then appears in front of Albert Lee.

The boy is kind of right you know, as the moment that the countdown timer reaches zero. The Ragnarok event begins.

It took him by surprise, as he then unconsciously let out a loud gasp escaping from his mouth, upon seeing the blue notification screen panel in front of him.

'Is that you, Loki? And what do you mean would happen when the Ragnarok event would begin.' He thought, asking Loki a few important questions about the scheduled Ragnarok event.

And Loki, the God of Mischief and Chaos then immediately responded via the system interface.

The moment that the Ragnarok event is started. All of the Nine Realms would then merged into one, thereby unifying together as a big one known as Middle Earth, whilst at the same time, portals that are connected to Heaven and Hell would then be manifested on Earth. Dungeons would then appear one after another around the world, thereby carrying monsters and otherwise inhabitants from another world. So you got to be careful as these creatures can range from simple wild beasts to even giant ogres. So beware...

After Loki, the God of Mischief and Chaos then informs about the upcoming dangers caused by the Ragnarok event. Albert Lee then immediately went by to his working out sessions.

A couple of minutes into his workout session, after doing two to three cycles of weight lifting and squats. He then saw a blue notification screen panel that depicts his small growth in progress after the exercise session.

Ding!

The sounds of the notification screen as a blue screen panel then appears in front of him.

(!) System Notification Through vigorous training and exercise, your strength attribute stat has risen by 0.3! (!) System Notification Through vigorous training and exercise, your dexterity attribute stat has risen by 0.1! (!) System Notification Through vigorous training and exercise, your agility attribute stat has risen by 0.1!

Although the immediate growth after the short exercise session didn't even add up to 1 point of stats growth but did serve to reinforce his motivation towards a goal of surviving the Ragnarok world changing event.
